A Gradient Pattern And Colored Outsole Appear On The adidas Ultra Boost
By SoleInsider
The adidas Ultra Boost continues to evolve and the beloved model tried on new color, patterns and motifs. This time around the shoe tries on a gradient-pattern on the upper by utilizing two colors to give it that effect.
The Ultra Boost has a Primeknit upper done up in a gradient pattern that pairs black and Solar Red together to give the it desired look. Additional hits of red can be seen on the laces as well as on the trim placed on the black heel counter. Completing the look is the white Boost midsole and red outsole. No release date yet, but feel free to let us know what you think about this new look on the Ultra Boost.
I like the gradient look on the upper, and I also like the color used on the outsole. Once again, adidas manages to give the Ultra Boost a brand new look and feel. Great work.

First Look At The Porsche Design x adidas Ultra Boost
By SoleInsider
Is it just me, or has the Ultra Boost taken a back seat to the adidas NMD these last couple of months? Whether that is true or not, there’s not doubt that people will be paying closer attention to the model as its about to collaborate with Porsche Design. Today we get an official look at the Porsche Design x adidas Ultra Boost.
Collaborations between Porsche Design and adidas is nothing new, but this is the first time that it has been done on the beloved Ultra Boost. Looking to implement their own clean and slick design on to the aesthetic of the shoe, the Porsche Design x adidas Ultra Boost manages to upgrade its look while still maintaining its function. New features on the shoe include the larger cage on the side panels that definitely give the shoe a sleeker and modern look. In addition, Porsche Design branding can be seen on the tongue and heel support. The all-black upper us accompanied by the all-white Boost midsole and black outsole combination. Like what you see? Expect for these to release sometime during the Spring.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 550 is slated to be the newest model set to come out of the adidas x Yeezy line. Although much talk and rumors have been centered around the shoe and when it could possibly release, nothing has been confirmed when it comes to what the shoe actually looks like or when it will release.
With that being said, we’ve seen plenty of pictures over the last few months that show a model rumored to be the 550 that closely resembles the Yeezy Boost 350. We even say French Montana rock a pair not too long ago. Could the shoe you see above be the rumored adidas Yeezy Boost 550? The shoe does share some of the same characteristics as the 350, with minor alterations such as the higher cut/tongue and the slightly altered sole unit. If these are in fact the 550s, are you looking forward to this potential release? Let us know in the comment below.
In my opinion, if these are the 550s, they look to similar to the 350s. Regardless, you know very well that they’re still going to fly off the shelves.

adidas Originals Brings the NMD Experience to Los Angeles
By SoleInsider
Make no mistake about it, as far as 2016 goes, adidas NMD is without a doubt the hottest shoe model in the game. No other sneaker has come close to garner as much attention as the NMD has, which is why the adidas Originals NMD Experience in Los Angeles was such a big deal.
A couple days ago, adidas Originals celebrated the finale of the NMD_LA experience, which was a week long city takeover by three Los Angeles ambassadors who highlighted their favorite spots all around the city. Los Angeles Laker, Nick Young, renowned photographer, Atibe Jefferson and innovative chef,Roy Choi all helped guide the takeover in which gave people an opportunity to score a limited edition NMD_LA Experience kit featuring a pair of the sold-out shoes. The program concluded with a private concert headlined by Grammy nominated artist Miguel and featured DJ sets by Kilo Kush and Shlohmo.
adidas Originals Director of Brand Communications, Brandon Beaty had this to say about the synergy between the local ambassadors and the brand;
?Our Los Angeles crew featuring Roy Choi, Atiba Jefferson, Nick Young and Miguel all bring a different flavor of creativity, style and authenticity that overlaps perfectly with our brand. Los Angeles is the perfect place to extend the NMD conversation and by allowing these ambassadors to share their idea of city exploration, we can bring the NMD story to life in a very unique and local way – that?s what our brand and this shoe is all about. This is only the beginning and we?re looking forward to the sharing and shaping the future with everyone.?
The finale event took placed in an unmarked warehouse in the Chinatown neighborhood of Downtown, Los Angeles. During the evenr, guests viewed wall size mape of the Los Angeles exploration tour mapped out by the three ambassadors ans were encouraged to share their event images on social media. Check out the images of the even above and let us know if you attended.

The new adidas NMD doesn’t only exist in low-top form, adidas has created a Chukka boot version of the lifestyle runner to give the shoe turned boot a more sophisticated look.
Already having released in the Red Suede and Black Suede colorways, the adidas NMD Chukka will now be releasing in a pristine white colorway. This time around the upper is composed of Primeknit material. The BOOST midsole has been done in white while grey EVA inserts have been added for contrast along with a black heel tab and rubber outsole.
Take a look at the official images above and look for the adidas NMD Chukka Vintage White to release at select adidas retailers in the near future.

It’s cool to see the Chukka NMD utilize a Primeknit upper but I just don’t like the white colorway. Hopefully they release more colorways in the future.

Both of the colorways from the Geometric Camo Pack are pretty fresh that it’s hard to decide to which one I like better. The subtle camo print on the upper is a nice look.
The Nike Air Max Zero Ultra Tokyo Is For The #ChicksOnFire
Porsche Design got a chance to create their own installment of the adidas Ultra Boost, as the infamous sports car company revitalized the upper with unique black overlays that’s as far a departure from the usual Primeknit as possible. Unique waffle-iron like patterns hit throughout in a forward motion while nearly all three stripe branding is ditched for the ‘Porsche Design Sport’ callout. What do you think of Porshe’s take on Boost? Check out more detailed shots below and know that this pair will be available for purchase this Spring 2016 season.
The adidas NMD has been a dominant force in adidas Originals’ lineup throughout 2016, and this weekend the three stripes continues to bring the heat with two more monochromatic, understated Boost x Primeknit offerings. The adidas NMD_R1 “White” is sure to be one of the best releases of the weekend for its white on white approach as a combination mesh woven construction rests atop one of the most comfortable cushion systems in the industry. And if you’re worried that you’d get that crisp pair a bit too dirty too fast, adidas is also offering an all black upper (unfortunately, there’s none of that new black Boost available for this pair just yet). Check out a brief look below and let us know if you plan on picking up either NMD offering.
Doused in metallic copper, the sneaker’s leather upper emits a polished sheen to exude its clean profile, as well as its lavish design. Further continued on the tongue, smooth brown leather is utilized for the inner lining, while brown laces are also applied to complement the overall palette.
All supplemented atop a classic gum rubber sole unit to create an aesthetically pleasing style, the model is finished off with the Belgian fashion designer’s “R” gracing the side panels in perforations, alongside more branding on the tongue labels in contrasting white.
You can purchase this pair at select adidas retailers now for $400.
That price tag is a no for me, but this colorway is too nice. You can’t go wrong with the silhouette as well. This is an investment, but it also has resale value.

Adidas Skateboarding Introduces The adidas Matchcourt Slip
By SoleInsider
Adidas Skateboarding has just introduced a brand new silhouette with the adidas Matchcourt Slip. If this shoe looks familiar it’s because it’s a modified version of the adidas Matchcourt just without laces.
The new Matchcourt Slip is inspired by adidas? renowned heritage in tennis shoe design, yet customized to meet the performance demands of modern skateboarding. Taking a look at the shoe we can see that it features a clean upper with a durable rubber toe cap that creates a responsive fit. The molded PU sockliner increases protection while providing comfort and the longer-lasting double wrap vulcanized outsole construction paired with a sticky rubber facilitates great board feel and grip.
There will be three colorways kicking off the release of the new Matchcourt Slip, which will include black/white, black/black and white/white combinations. The Matchcourt Slip will be available beginning April 1 on the adidas Skateboarding website and specialty retailers in the USA for a retail price of $60.
Author’s Take
I’m guessing adidas created this shoe to be the equivalent to the Vans Slip-On. People who really skateboard will appreciate this shoe and the $60 price tag will allow them to buy and skate in a pair without having to be too worried about messing them up.

Stella McCartney Has Created Another Colorway Of The adidas Ultra Boost
By SoleInsider
You may not know this, but one of the first ever partners that adidas ever collaborated with on the adidas Ultra Boost was Stella McCartney. Last year the two linked up to release a colorful rendition of the popular runner.
Now both parties have joined forces once again to release yet another colorway of the Ultra Boost. This Stella McCartney x adidas Ultra Boost features a White Primeknit upper with black overlays, pink laces, and orange detailing on the side panels. Other features include a grey heel counter, a mesh cage, white BOOST midsole and black rubber outsole.
If anyone is interested you can pick up a pair now from Stella McCartney’s website for a retail price of $260. Take a look at images of the shoe above and let us know your thoughts.
In my opinion there’s just too much going on with this Ultra Boost. Too many colors and the mesh cage on the side panels just make sit look like a different shoe. I’m not a fan of this Ultra Boost.

Step Up Your Sandal Game With The adidas Y-3 Qasa Sandal
By SoleInsider
Spring is in full effect, it’s time to break out your mean sandal game. Have some extra moola and looking to get a pair different from the norm? Take a look at the brand new adidas Y-3 Qasa Sandal.
Derived from the Y-3 Qasa model, this rendition of the shoe becomes a sandal, which makes it ideal for the current season. The sock-like upper is removed and so is the lacing system. The only thing left on the upper happens to be the black forefoot straps which are utilized as the straps used on a sandal. Keeping the tonal look of the shoe going is the black Tubular outsole with the Y-3 branding placed on the sole and heel. Like what you see? You can now pick up a pair at select retailers for $350.
If you like the Y-3 aesthetics, you’re going to like this sandal, regardless of the price. In my opinion though, it seems to be a bit too much on the pricey side. The sandal is clean, but not $350 clean.

Easter is only three days away and adidas took the time today to officially unveil their 2016 Easter Basketball Collection.
Consisting of the adidas D Lillard 2, and two colorways of the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5, the adidas Basketball Easter 2016 Collection is inspired by the tradition of dyed eggs on Easter Sunday.
Let’s start off with the Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE colorways. The first Crazylight Boost 2.5 was designed for Andrew Wiggins and comes white and gray Primeknit threads that deliver a gradient fade along the upper. A unique Easter egg graphic print lands on the forefoot treated with a gloss finish. Light gray accents are paired with pops of pink on the outsole, three stripes, laces and custom ?AW? wordmark. Next is the 2nd Crazylight Boost 2.5 that was designed for James Harden. This colorway shades of haze salmon and features a multi-layered upper with structural textures and soft, premium leather along the forefoot to deliver a lux finish. There isn’t too much that screams Easter on this pair with the exception of Light pink hits are featured on the laces and custom ?13? wordmark. Harden will debut this Crazylight 2.5 when the Rockets face the Pacers on March 27.
Next is the D Lillard 2 which comes with a dyed Easter egg graphic print on the upper, while its mesh paneling, laces and Dame logos are designed in traditional pink pastel hues. To round out the Easter tribute, white details are contrasted by light blue accents on the TECHFIT bootie, outsole and midsole splatter pattern.
The D Lillard 2 ($105) and Andrew Wiggins Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE ($130) release March 27 at adidas.com.
Author’s Take
The Easter egg dye print on the D Lillard 2 and Andrew Wiggins Crazylight Boost 2.5 definitely capture the theme of Easter. If I had to pick one I’d go with the Crazylight Boosy 2.5 because of the Primeknit upper.
