More Primeknit Covers The adidas Originals Superstar
By SoleInsider
It seems like Primeknit is being put on everything these days. We’ve seen it on basketball sneakers like the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 as well as lifestyle releases like the adidas Tubular X.
Even though we’ve already seen it land on the classic adidas Originals Superstar, today we take a look at some new colorways that have just released for the ladies. Coming in different color options that include Red, Black, and Blue, each pair comes outfitted with a full Primeknit upper as well as the signature rubber shell toe in white. The Three Stripes branding on each colorway has been done in white along with the rubber sole unit, heel, and the numbers on the tongue which represents each shoe’s style number.
Available now at select adidas retailers for $120, how many ladies plan on copping?
This pair of Superstars maintains its simple and classic look but also looks like its been upgraded thanks to the Primeknit upper. Great sneaker. Now is they only released them for men…
The Air Jordan 11 Low Varsity Red Might Be The Sneaker Of The Summer
adidas Drops James Hardens Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE After Being Eliminated
By SoleInsider
It was a banner year for the adidas Originals lineup, but the three stripe’s hoops imprint is still struggling to find an identity even after signing James Harden to that ludicrous $200 million deal. Perhaps part of the reason for the adidas Hoops is still finding its way was the Rockets’ tumultuous season, one in which the team – new signee James Harden included – looked like they couldn’t be more ready to be bounced from the playoffs and start their summer vacations early. Regardless, adidas had no other choice but to stick to their release schedule and drop this ill-timed adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 James Harden Playoff PE after the bearded wonder checked out for the season. Like Harden, the Crazylight Boost is undoubtedly a quality performer, just with a lack of the much-needed cool cachet to translate over to the lifestyle market like the three stripe’s NMD and Tubular designs have successfully done. A simple black and white colorway sees accents of Houston’s red while Boost technology adds a comfortable and supportive ride, all for just $130 USD. What will next season hold for Harden and adidas? While a signature model seems imminent, after a disappointing first year together James and the three stripes still have a lot to prove.
adidas Stan Smith Brings Aztec Themes To New Releases
By SoleInsider
The adidas Stan Smith is a bonafide icon in the sneaker industry known for its simplistic design, lack of branding, and smooth leather tooling. Naturally, the three stripes have created a resurgence of the tennis classic with a lifestyle context which means that the Stan Smith has seen updates in Primeknit, collaborations with influencers like Pharrell, and a plethora of graphic printed updates. The latest fits into the latter category with a new tribal Aztec inspiration landing on the upper accompanied by premium gold lace eyelets and trefoil branding on the heel. An off-white pre-aged midsole/outsole unit adds a nice touch. Two colorways are available in the Aztec graphic featuring contrasting shades of red/teal and blue/orange. Grab your size today from international spots like Caliroots.

By SoleInsider
A closer look at the standout adidas EQT Oddity Luxe Pack is provided, as the line consists of a design concept through the utilization of various material and color mash-ups on classic silhouettes.

Additionally, the upper’s design flaunts an enlarged camo pattern aesthetic, which divides the shades perfectly.
All adhered atop a white midsole unit with EVA inserts, you can find this latest pair at select adidas retailers nationwide now for $120.

By SoleInsider

Buy, Pass, Wait: Air Jordan 10 Rio, Jordan Heiress Collection, Under Armour Curry Two Mothers Day, Pharrell x adidas Originals
By SoleInsider
It’s not a coincidence that this weekend will see the drop of a Mother’s Day colorway of the Under Armour Curry Two and the debut of a new women’s exclusive collection from Jordan Brand. Most sneakerheads probably remember the first time their mom bought them a pair of fresh sneakers. Even if they thought it was a little weird that their son or daughter was into rocking Jordans that are ostensibly obsolete, moms everywhere knew it was worth the hard work and sacrifice to see the smile on children’s faces. So when you put on a very expensive pair of kicks this weekend, be sure to remember that first time and let your mom that she is very much appreciated. Now, if you’ll excuse, I’m gonna go cry in the car and call somebody special for a second.
For this week’s Buy, Pass, Wait, we take a look at the new Air Jordan 10 Rio that’s part of the Jordan City Series, the Jordan Heiress Collection, a new Under Armour Curry Two colorway for mama Curry and much more.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (WAIT) I actually haven’t seen them in person and they seem like the colorway that needs to be seen to be believed. The inclusion of Rio in the City Series makes sense because of the Olympic tie-in but like the Paris pair that dropped a few weeks ago, I normally don’t associate those places with MJ. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be down to visit though. Because I would. Please take me with you…
Juan Carrillo, News: (PASS) This is my favorite colorway from the Air Jordan 10 City Pack, only problem is, I’m not a big advocate for the model. The color scheme makes it very versatile, but it’s not clean enough to make me want to drop $190 on them.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) One of the nicer colorways from the Air Jordan 10 NYC Pack but since I’m not a big fan of the Air Jordan 10 I don’t see myself pulling the trigger on this colorway. Maybe if I actually lived in Rio I would cop a pair.
Renz Ofiaza, News: (PASS) The colorway is pretty versatile and appealing but I’m not really considering on even purchasing it. I’m still a fan of the silhouette and execution, but it’s a pass for me.
EIC Juan: (PASS) It’s an automatic pass because I can’t fit in them, but if Jordan Brand wants to really the sneakerhead moms and the #ChicksOnFire something to talk about and be proud of, this is a great pair to start that program with. The utopian future of all colorways in all sizes is still a ways away I guess, but for now, the ladies of have supported the brand for years deserve all the exclusive heat that comes their way.
News Juan: (SAD PASS) By far, the best colorway of the Air Jordan 10 I’ve seen in quite some time. Such a shame I don’t fit into GS sizes, that’s the only reason I’m passing up on them.
Andres: (PASS) Again, since I’m not in love with the Air Jordan 10 this isn’t a colorway that I see myself buying. Despite the fact that it’s a women’s colorway, I do like the pearl/cream upper. I’ll let the ladies have this one, even though I’m sure lots of guys will be going after this pair as well.
Renz: (BUY) If I had smaller feet I would purchase it instantly. I’m just biased towards the colorway and the makeup looks solid.
EIC Juan: (PASS) My feelings expressed in GIF form:
News Juan: (PASS) Unlike the majority of the people, I’m okay with the Air Jordan 9 Low model, just not in this colorway. It’s a bit too bright for me, and I’m a bit tired of the Crimson look at this moment.
Andres: (PASS) Talk about a bright sneaker. This will probably be the brightest Air Jordan retro that we’ll see all year. Is the colorways were reversed and the dark grey would be the dominant color maybe I’d consider buying a pair. But I don’t wanna to look like I’m wearing giant carrots on my feet.
Renz: (WAIT) If it was in the original cut, I would probably consider. I’m a fan of tonal colorways, particularly this one. If the price goes lower, it’ll be a maybe.
EIC Juan: (WANTED TO BUY BUT STRUCK OUT) I would have bought a pair if a size 11.5 was available (I typically go a half size up when it comes to Kobes), but alas the only thing left close to being ok for my feet after yesterday’s carnage was an 11 and I didn’t pull the trigger. Good thing I can always cop the Avar colorway when it drops in price eventually.
News Juan: (BUY) One of the cleanest colorways on the Kobe. The fact that it was designed by Tinker and inspired by the Jordan 3 Black Cement is more than enough reason for these to sell out pretty fast.
Andres: (WAIT FOR A RESTOCK) I’m so on the fence about this colorway. I’m a huge fan of the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement and this Kobe 11 did a great jon to resemble that shoe. The only thing I didn’t like was the white outsole. If that sole were black or dark grey these would have been in my possession already.
Renz: (BUY) I’m just a fan of the silhouette and the inspiration of the execution is a given. I’m all for that color combination as well. It’s one of the best renditions of the silhouette so far in my view.
EIC Juan: (PASS) It’s the thought that counts, right? I’m sure we’ll be seeing Mama Curry and wife Ayesha rocking these at some point during the playoffs, so these will be getting plenty of exposure on the internets, but I just don’t see myself rocking a pair of these.
News Juan: (PASS) Eh, It’s okay. I’ve seen other colorways of the Curry 2 that I’ve liked better than this pair. It’s not the worst colorway on the shoe, but it’s definitely not the best.
Andres: (PASS) It’s cool to see at least one brand release a Mother’s Day sneaker, and who better than the best player in the NBA. The rose pattern on the upper of these Curry 2s is nice but I just wish there wasn’t so much pink on the shoe. It makes the shoe look too girly and makes it hard to wear casually.
Renz: (PASS) The theme is obviously a nice gesture, but I would have rather preferred it on the 2.5. The colors and floral motif are a nice touch and it’s still a solid offering though.
Pharrell x adidas Elastic Pink Beach Collection
HanonHanon
EIC Juan: (BUY) Both the slip-on and laced pair look great. I can’t decide if I want the multicolor or the cc’d Stan Smith or both. Definitely a pair I’ll be rocking during the summer months… hopefully in Rio… or Paris… on vacation… please…
News Juan: (WAIT) Very clean and subtle look. I can see these getting a lot of play during the Spring/Summer. I like them, but I’m not really sure if I would buy them. I’d rather wait and think about it some more.
Andres: (WAIT) The colorful striped pair is the one I’d rock with if I were to pick up a sneaker from this collection. It would also have to be the pair with the laces because I’m not really a fan of Slip-Ons.
Renz: (BUY) I’ve been a supporter of Pharrell’s collaborations with the brand since the start. These new silhouettes are pretty sweet and simple, which I like. I’m more inclined towards the white/green colorways though.

The adidas Originals Samoa is a classic silhouette from the Three Stripes that many times gets overlooked.
Adidas will attempt to give the soccer-inspired sneaker a huge boost with the new Pigskin Pack. This pack is composed of three tonal colorways which are all dressed in pigskin suede uppers for a simple and luxurious look. This packed was sparked by a conversation with Woodie White of Oyster Holdings. Woodie expressed interest in a design revival around the Samoa silhouette that points to the future with a premium finish. The three available color options include Vapour Pink, Vapour Grey, and Pale Nude.
You can look for the adidas Originals Samoa Pigskin Pack at select top and adidas.com? on May 21st for a retail price of $120 each.
When I was younger I always wanted a pair of Samoas. This Pigskin Pack definitely reminds me why. The suede uppers just look so buttery and the colorways are perfect for the Spring.
The Air Jordan 12 GS University Blue Proves That Life Isn’t Always Fair
The tonal look is killer right now, and adidas is applying it to one of its most iconic sneaker so of all-time. The Samoa lifestyle shoe (originally an indoor soccer shoe) gets a pigskin suede upgrades in colors that are similar to what’s available on the YEEZY Boost 350. Another take on Oxford Tan and Moonrock will be part of this collection, as will a dull pink colorway that we recently saw on a pair of Stan Smiths by Raf Simons. Look for the adidas Samoa “Pigskin” Pack to hit select adidas Originals retailers on May 21st.
The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Will Be Releasing Very Soon
By SoleInsider
Ever since the adidas Ultra Boost debuted it has taken over the runner game. We recently saw collaborations which has made the shoe even more popular. One of the latest trends that we’ve seen with the Ultra Boost is the new Uncaged look that removes the support pieces on the side panels for a new sleeker look.
So far the only Uncaged pairs that have arrived at retailers have been collaborations. Well adidas will be changing that very soon as they’re expected to release a few inline colorways of the Ultra Boost Uncaged beginning next month. The picture of the pair that you see above comes in a black and white colorway similar to an NMD that released a short time ago. In addition to this black and white colorway we’re also expecting to see an all-red pair and grey/white version.
Keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for more information as far a release date goes. Are you excited to get your hands on the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged?

Author’s Take
To be honest I prefer the Ultra Boost with the cage. I think it just looks better in my opinion.
The Air Jordan 12 GS University Blue Proves That Life Isn’t Always Fair
Noted as a women’s offering, the popular runner has been tweaked with lifestyle flair. A blend of premium materials such as ostrich leather, snakeskin, suede and perforated nubuck comprises the overall build, while flaunting an aesthetically pleasing colorway consisting of tan and cream.
Further detailed with distinctive nylon straps across its side panels which also acts as its lacing apparatus, the model is finished off with a matching rubber sole unit
Priced at $120, you can find this pair at select adidas retailers starting tomorrow, Thursday, May 6th.
I’m biased towards runners and this model is pretty sweet. I like the neutral palette overall and the material makeup looks great. It can be versatile for males too.
