Looking like an older brother (or cousin) of the Rihanna x Puma Creeper, here’s a look at a brand new colorway of the Puma Basket Classic.

This retro silhouette from Puma takes on a Winterized look as the shoe gets covered in a Black suede upper with black and white rope laces. Other details include a white leather inner liner for added warmth, a padded collar, perforated side panels, Puma branding in black on the side panels and heels, and a chunky rubber gum outsole.

Puma has just released a new colorway of the Puma Blaze Winter Tech that was designed for the colder months of the year, but can still be worn during any time of the year. This Blaze Winter Tech comes equipped with suede and textile upper done in Wine on the toe are and Vapor Grey everywhere else. Other details include leather formstripes, a TPU cage, and a Trinomic midsole with speckled detailing.

A quick Google search of “Clyde Frazier suits” and you will know exactly how these pairs of Puma Clyde came to fruition. Clyde Frazier and his taste for fashion are in in a million. In other words, it’s very unique. One of Frazier’s fashion trademarks are loud, bold and busy suit. Every single time you see him on the t.v., you’re bound to see him rocking one of a kind pieces. Now Puma has decided to utilizes that fashion motif and placed it on the Puma Clyde.

Consisting of two pairs, the Puma Clyde Suits Pack comes dressed in your choice of a zebra or cow print/pattern noted on the leather upper. Diamond Supply Co. and PUMA team up for their first collaborative collection ever this winter, led by a clean new Clyde colorway in the skate/streetwear brand’s signature shade of minty blue-green. Actually part 1 of a two-part drop between Diamond and PUMA, the Clyde features a premium suede upper in ‘Aruba Blue’ with reptilian-textured black suede accents to complete the signature Diamond aesthetic. Further special touches include co-branded tongue tags and diamond prism graphics on the insoles.

The Diamond Supply x PUMA Clyde drops on Black Friday, November 25th exclusively at Diamond stores, followed by a wider release at select PUMA retailers on December 3rd.

Puma is also getting in on the Black Friday fun by dropping this collaborative effort with Diamond Supply. Dropping in a few days, here’s out latest look at the Diamond Supply x Puma Clyde.

Said to be the first part of a two-drop collection, the Diamond Supply x Puma Clyde is inspired by the ?90s skate culture. The Clyde comes dressed in a tonal Aruba Blue colorway, one that was made popular by Diamond Supply. Done out of a premium suede leather, the tonal look of the shoe is offset by the Black noted on the formstrip noted on the paneling. Dual branding appears on the tongue, while Diamond Supply’s  original prism diamond graphic can be seen on the insoles. Finally, a White rubber sole is placed down low. The Diamond Supply x Puma Clyde will release exclusively at Diamond Supply stores on Black Friday (11/25) and at select retailers on December 3rd. Diamond Supply Co. and Puma have joined forces to release a collaboration that will be dropping on Black Friday.

Consisting of the Puma Suede and the Puma Clyde, the sneakers come in three color options of all-black, cream/off-white, and of course the signature teal colorway that Diamond is most known for. Suede uppers highlight each pair along with Diamond branding that has been added on the tongue tags, side panels, and insoles.

That won’t be the only Diamond Supply Co Puma Suede slated to release either as a total of 4 upcoming colorways will be a part of the collaboration between the two imprints. Rihanna has been Puma’s biggest co-sign in recent years, as her Rihanna Puma Creeper model has been a smash hit for its classic shape, simple design, and awesome colorway options. Now we have word that the Rihanna x Puma Creeper will release in new velvet installments this December featuring a soft textile upper complete with monochromatic options, waxed laces, and metallic gold foil branding for a luxurious look perfect for dressing up or dressing down.

The Rihanna Puma Creeper was the first sneaker designed by the pop star under her new FENTY PUMA label. Footwear News even named the silhouette their Shoe of the Year for its success in the women’s department. These special edition velvet releases will even be accompanied by a velvet shoe bag for an added touch of class. The Rihanna Puma Creeper will be available on December 8th for $150 a piece at select Puma retailers and online at PUMA.com.

Performance and lifestyle used to be two separate categories in the footwear world. There are still shoes obviously made just to be worn on the field, the court, or the track, just as there are shoes only made for the boardroom, the streets, or the club, but for the discerning sneakerhead that is knee-deep in the culture, they want the sneaker that is stylish for the physical and casual activity. Plenty of brands have tried to chase that magical pair that appeals to all for years to varying degrees of success. PUMA appears to have found it with the PUMA IGNITE Evoknit.

As one of the main sponsors of Complexcon that included a pretty wide space that was also in partnership with Foot Locker and an endorsement deal with The Weeknd, it’s clear that PUMA believes in the silhouette. Talking with Jeff Staple at the show gave me some more insight as to what the IGNITE Evoknit as the potential to become for PUMA and between Staple’s pair and the future of the shoe sans ankle collar, it will be a 2017 to watch for the sneaker.

But before we head into next year, here’s a look back at the various pairs of IGNIT Evoknits we have received in the past few months at the KoF Offices, including one from Complexcon.

The New York Knicks suffered an L to the hands of the Toronto Raptors last night, but perhaps this new colorway of the Puma Clyde will bring their spirits up a bit.

Inspired by the team where Walter “Clyde” Frazier spent the majority of his career, this new colorway of the Puma Clyde features an orange suede upper with royal blue accents on the Puma stripe branding and the heel tab. Other details include a gold “10” on the heels and gold “Puma Clyde” branding on the side panels. Finishing things off is a white rubber midsole to complete the Knicks theme.

You can look for this Knicks colorway of the Puma Clyde to arrive at select Puma retailers in the near future.
