Release Date: Nike Flyknit Trainer Persian Violet

Who caught that DeMar DeRozan dunk against the Pistons last night? All I have to say (as a die-hard Raptors fan) is..brruuhhh! Haha..Possibly (or possibly not) inspired by the retro colors of the Toronto Raptors is this new colorway of the Nike Flyknit Trainer.

This Flyknit Trainer features a full Flyknit upper with Black dominating the back half of the shoe and Persian Violet seen on the front portion of the sneaker. Pops of Siren Red can then be seen on the Swoosh logos, midsole, and the branding on the tongue. A white midsole and black rubber outsole round out the details on this Flyknit Racer that is scheduled to arrive at retailers on March 15th for a price tag of $150.

This OG-Inspired Nike Air Max 1 Is Releasing Exclusively For Women

After bringing back the OG Obsidian colorway of the Nike Air Max 1 last year, 2018 will see the sneaker return in an almost identical colorway. The biggest difference with this pair is that it will be releasing exclusively in women’s sizes. I guess that’s fitting since today is International Women’s Day.

This OG-inspired Air Max 1 features a White and Pure Platinum mesh and nubuck upper with Obsidian landing on the entire mudguard, Swoosh logos, upper eyelets, and the branding on the tongue and heel. A white midsole and black rubber outsole complete the look on this Air Max 1 for women that will be releasing at select overseas retailers on March 11th. Stay tuned for a possible US release date.

Release Date: Nike Air Safari OG

Even though this is not an Air Max release, Nike is bringing back the OG colorway of the Nike Air Safari during Air Max Month.

Originally released as part of the 1987 Air Pack alongside the Air Max and Air Trainer, the Air Safari set the groundwork for a colorway that has become a Nike staple. As a tastemaker, the Air Safari has influenced silhouettes from Jordan to Air Max to Mercurial with its ostrich skin-inspired print. This release recreates the original colorway that started it all as black and orange leather combine on the upper with the iconic safari print in grey landing on the ankle, heel, and toe cap.

Look for the Nike Air Safari OG to release on March 14th for a retail price of $140.
