After collaborating on the Nike Kyrie 5, Sneaker Room teams up with Nike again to release three collaborative iterations of the Nike Kyrie 6.
The Sneaker Room x Nike Kyrie 6 Mom Collection includes three sentimental iterations of the Kyrie 6. Making the collection special is the fact that 100% of the proceeds of the ?MOM? Kyrie 6, Sneaker Room Foundation will be donating the money raised across several charities, hospitals, and organizations.
Kyrie and Sneaker Room owner Suraj Kaufman wanted to do something that was true to both his and Kyrie?s journey. Both New Jersey natives have endured the loss of their mothers and he wanted to create something special to honor their memory.
Full with personal details, all three pairs are equipped with features important to both to Kyrie and Suraj. The polka dots on the insoles celebrate Kyrie?s mother?s love of the pattern, while her name, Elizabeth, is cemented atop the vamp in embroidered thread. Suraj?s mother?s name, Ellen is placed in the same spot on the other shoe’s vamp adjacent to one of her favorite colors. Other details on the shoe include the hearts and roses placed throughout while a heartfelt message that reads : ?In honor of _____.? is also added to the “Mom” theme of the collection.
While each pair is unique in appearance, they differ in price and production. The red pair (most accessible), will be made in a run of 2006 for $200; the black pair is far more limited with only 813 pairs made available for $300, while the cream (raffle release), is the most exclusive with only 302 pairs up for grabs for $400.
The Sneaker Room x Nike Kyrie 6 Mom Collection is set to release on October 23rd at 11AM. Details for the raffle will be posted on the Sneaker Room Instagram.
