Last seen in 2017 in celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” will be returning to store shelves once again next year to celebrate its 25th anniversary, according to sources. While the featured imagery are of the 2017 retro, the 2022 edition will essentially stay true to its original design. The iconic silver theme covers the sneaker?s synthetic and mesh upper that also incorporates a wavy pattern overlay with 3M reflective accents. Additionally, pops of red are placed on the tongue and miniature Swooshes across its sides to complete the overall design.
Retailing for $185, the Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet is set to return on November 11th via SNKRS. ABOUT THE MODEL: The Nike Air Max 97 is considered by some the best Air Max model ever created. Designed by Christian Tresser back in 1997, the Air Max 97 in the Silver Bullet colorway was inspired by chrome mountain bikes.
