After a debut in early 2013 and a prolonged episode of explosive growth in 2015/2016, adidas Boost cushioning is widely regarded as the go-to option for comfortable running/casual shoes. In fact, it has converted some Nike loyalists to the Ultra Boost and NMD models, a shift that has reflected in adidas’ upward trend and a 24-month period of stagnation on Nike’s end. The most recent Q1 numbers prove that as well; adidas U.S. athlete footwear sales grew 85% in Q1 2017, whereas Nike dropped in the single digits, and it’s precisely the running/training categories where the German brand is excelling.

Nike Sportswear has updated the retro running model with the Nike Air Current Slip On, a new modernized take on the 1980s offering that features a simple mesh upper, neoprene slip-on construction, and a bold reinforced elastic strap for lockdown support as an homage to the OG creation. 2 monochromatic colorways are headed to retailers later this month ranging from a simple Olive and a standout Lemon. If you’re a fan of the Nike Air Max LD-Zero then you’ll have the opportunity to pick up a new pair tomorrow as we’ll see the release of the Blue Moon colorway.

Looking at this new colorway of the relatively new Air Max silhouette we see that it features a Coastal Blue and Blue Moon upper which comes constructed out of a combination of mesh, suede and leather. Tonal detailing is seen on the laces, branding, lining and midsole. Other details include a black tongue tag with an orange Swoosh and a blue translucent full-length Air Max sole unit down below. You can purchase your pair beginning tomorrow, May 4th, for a retail price of $180.

What you see above is a first look at a brand new colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Chalapuka. Rocking a clean mint colorway that will excel during the Spring season, let’s take a look at the on-feet images of the Nike Air Zoom Chalapuka Barley Green.

The Nike Air Zoom Chalapuka is said to be a hybrid model derived from the Nike Chapuka and Nike Air Zoom Talaria. The unique design of the shoe consists of a Mint-colored upper placed on top of a White midsole and Gum outsole. Distinct features on the shoe include the Swoosh on the side of the heel, the large ventilation cuts on the side panels, the tonal laces, the sock-like upper, the pull tabs on the heel and tongue and what appears to be a suede and nubuck construction. Available internationally, a stateside release appears to be imminent.

But now Nike has released official images of the shoe which usually means that the shoe will be getting a retail release.

The Nike Kyrie 3 EYBL features white on the majority of the upper with colorful/iridescent accents on the Swoosh, inner liner, and lace dubrae. Additional details include EYBL branded insoles, a milky white translucent outsole, and colorful speckles on the midsole. Unlike the original Nike Zoom Flight 95 that’s pretty much accepted across the board as one of the greatest basketball sneaker designs of the ’90s, we’re expecting the new lifestyle version of the shoe dubbed the Zoom Flight Bonafide to be a polarizing affair. The unusual design with a high-top Flyknit upper above the iconic Zoom Flight 95 bug-eye sole design stirred up some conversation when it was first revealed during NYFW’s “Five Decades” Collection. Even if these reworked styles aren’t your think, a re-release of the original is likely to come (and remember NikeLab is dropping its own versions as well). This homage to the OG black/white colorway finally releases on May 11th alongside the grey Flyknit version. Do you love it or hate it?

Kevin Durant is currently lacing up his Nike KD 9 Elite as he hopes to capture his first ever NBA Championship as a member of the Golden State Warriors. Today we get a first look at what is believed to be his next signature sneaker, the Nike KD 10.

At first glance the KD 10 has lots of similarities to the KD 9, such as the Flyknit construction on the upper, and the full-length Zoom Air unit. Other details include a new lacing system and a suede cage overlay. This pair that we see above comes in White with Metallic Silver and Pure Platinum accents. The latest colorway of the Nike Kyrie 3 to be unveiled is the one you see above that we’re just going to call Black Gum. Said to be a GS-exclusive, let’s get a closer look at what this pair is all about.

The Nike Kyrie 3 Black Gum comes in a simple yet clean Black and Gum color scheme. The base of the shoe comes in Black, while the Gum hits can be found on the outsole of the shoe. Additional detailing can be found by way of the Off-White hits on the Swoosh and Flywire and added depth is created by giving the shoe a White midsole. One of the cleanest GS-colorways of the Kyrie 3 we’ve seen in quite some time, we will let you know when these end up getting an official release date.

We got our first look at the Nike PG 1 EYBL a little bit over a month ago. This version of the PG 1 was thought to be a player exclusive but now word is going around that the Nike PG 1 EYBL could end up getting an actual release date. It was supposed to release in NYC last month (never happened), but now that Nike has provided us with official images of the shoe, a future release could actually be in the works.

The Nike PG 1 EYBL comes with a Black upper contrasted by the multicolor accents placed on the tongue, lining and the iridescent Swoosh on both sides of the shoe. Two tones of speckling appear on the midsole that further adds to the bold look of the shoe. Non confirmation on a release date yet, but as soon as one is announced we’ll hit you with the 411.

This brand new silhouette from the Swoosh updates a ’90s basketball shoe with durable leather at the ankle and a lightweight, sock-like construction. Some of the features include a jacquard and textile construction for premium comfort, an external leather heel clip for durability and support, a lightweight foam midsole with encapsulated Air-Sole cushioning, and a durable rubber outsole for traction. The two color options that are available right now are White/Lyon Blue/Bold Berry-Black and much simpler Black/White option. Retail price is $130. Will you try something new and pick up a pair?

In two short days we’ll see the release of the Nike Basketball Flip The Switch Collection which will include the PG 1, Kyrie 3, KD 9 Elite, Kobe A.D. and the LeBron 14. Today we give you the best look yet at the LeBron 14 from the collection courtesy of official images.

This new colorway of the LeBron 14 features White on the majority of the upper along with Black accents on the ankle and branding. Hits of red provide even more contrast by being placed on the ankle collar, gradient midsole, and branding. According to Nike, this LeBron 14 “helps you flip the switch and take it to the next level, away from the distractions and expectations. It’s designed to keep you mentally locked-in as you transform your game from instinct to art form and embrace the intensity of each moment.”

Just because Easter has come and gone doesn’t mean that bright-colored/pastel sneakers are gone for good. The Nike Air Force 1 Low will continue to drop in fresh new colorways that will definitely catch your attention.

Seen above is a new trio of Air Force 1s of the low top variety which make up the Iridescent Pack. All three pairs feature leather uppers and mesh tongues. The first comes with iridescent all over the upper, including the Swoosh, along with a semi-translucent Smoky midsole/outsole. The other two pairs feature white detailing on the laces, tongue, inner liner, Swoosh, and sole unit. Which pair do you like best?
