If you’re familiar with baseball then you probably already know who Gio Gonzalez is, if you’re not then he’s a pitcher for the Washington Nationals.

Gio also happens to be a Jordan Brand athlete who constantly gets hooked up with the latest Air Jordan releases months in advance. Back in December he showed us his latest JB haul that included sneakers like the Air Jordan 4 Alternate 89, Air Jordan 12 The Master, Air Jordan 2 Radio Raheem and others. Yesterday he was back at again as he gave us a glimpse of some upcoming Spring Air Jordan releases. Included in the picture are the Air Jordan 17+ Copper, Air Jordan 10 NYC, Air Jordan 1 High OG David Letterman, and a pair of all-red Air Jordan 2 Lows that caught lots of people’s attention.

There is no release information on the Jordan 2s yet but we’ll keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire as soon as we know more.

According to reliable source @baltsneakershow on Twitter, Jordan Brand looks to add another Flight 23 retail store, and this one appears to coming to the city of Baltimore.

If you’re from the Baltimore area, you may be familiar with the Mondawmin Mall. It is currently being rumored that that is the location in which the next Jordan Flight 23 store will be located. For those who aren’t too familiar with the Jordan 23 Flight 23 stores, they’re brick and mortars that have a retail partnership with Footaction, so that means that they’re usually connected and built next to a Footaction store. Stay tuned to find out when Jordan Brand confirms this rumor.

It seems like more and more people are showing off their gifted Air Jordan Kobe Pack. Some of the most recent people to be blessed by Jordan Brand include Zach Myers and Travis Scott. Who’s next? You know it was a given that Marcus Jordan (Michael Jordan’s son) has dibs on every single exclusive release.

He recently took to social media to show his followers the Air Jordan PEs that Kobe wore when he was considered a sneaker free agent. The Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 coming in the Lakers team colorway also come with some pretty cool exclusive packaging. The pictures Marcus shared with us show that both shoes come in a large box where the outside of the box has Kobe’s 24 and Jordan’s 23. White dust bags house both pairs, while the inside of the box has the numbers 3 and 8 to represent the shoes that make up the pack. “JORDAN” appears on the side of the box, while a Jumpman appears front center to complete the main features of the packaging. Although many people seem to be receiving their own pairs, we still have no information regarding this pack being a potential release to the public. Would you like to see these drop? I’m far from being a Kobe fan, but I think this pack releasing would be a nice way of Jordan Brand paying homage to one of the greats. I hope they release them for the sake of his fans.

Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, will be opening up his own sneaker store this Spring named Trophy Room and he already received a special gift to celebrate the upcoming launch.

Marcus was given a custom pair of Air Jordan 11 Bred Lows that features the logo of the shop on the heel of both sneakers. According to Marcus we won’t be able to get our hands on these because they were a special gift from Nike designer Mark Smith who is know for creating these lasered masterpieces in the past.

A few days ago, Sneaker Internet had a mixed reaction to the possibility that Jordan Brand would be jumping into the deep end and releasing a “What The?” edition of the Air Jordan 1. Unlike previous Nike What The shoes like the original Nike SB Dunk Low and the less-than-good-actually-terrible Nike LeBron 12 that borrowed colors, concepts and themes from dozens of pairs, the supposed Air Jordan 1 What The is allegedly a mash-up of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago, Black/Red and Royal colorways. Based on the mock images, the What The 1 has the same kitsch appeal of the Lance Mountain SB 1s and would mostly likely sell out just as fast.

But now a new image has surfaced and this time the What The concept has been brought to the Air Jordan 3. You can already picture Sneaker Internet losing their damn minds.

Like the supposed What The Air Jordan 1, this What The Air Jordan 3 only uses four OG colorways for inspiration: the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement, the Air Jordan 3 White/Cement, the Air Jordan 3 Fire Red and the Air Jordan 3 True Blue (note: the True Blue is rumored to be returning on Black Friday).

Again, this is just an image that surfaced online and it’s hard to say whether or not these are sample pairs, another mock image or just somebody who just couldn’t wait for April Fool’s Day. We’ll have more on this story as it happens.

Covered in a White leather upper with Deep Royal Blue, Wolf Grey and Hyper Orange accents, this Air Jordan 4 is scheduled to drop on March 9th for $140. In addition to the White leather on the upper we see Deep Royal Blue accents on the tongue patch, waffle eyelets, midsole, heel, and the reinforcement wings by the ankle. Wolf Grey can then be seen on the toecap and inner liner while Hyper Orange adds a spark of color on the Jumpman branding on the heel and tongue.

Andres Carrillo, News: In my opinion this colorway would have looked better without the Hyper Orange accents and with a bit more Wolf Grey detailing. It’s not that bad but if I wore GS sizes I wouldn’t cop.

Look, the kids love their retro Jordan as much as their adult counterparts, but the benefit of being a kid is that the competition for the smaller Js – this past weekend’s Air Jordan 12 Dynamic Pink launch notwithstanding – not as tough as you might think. After looking at some on-feet images of this luxurious Air Jordan 4 last week, we now get some up close and detailed images of the shoe that give us a pretty good look at what to expect if we plan on buying a pair when they release.

These new detailed images of the Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin give us a good look at the snakeskin material that is used on the upper as well as the premium tumbled leather placed on the tongue, toe, side panels, wings and inner liner. A clean white midsole/outsole holds things down while bronze metal detailing appears on the eyelets and heel tab.

There is still no release date for this premium Air Jordan 4 but they should release some time this Summer for $400.

Not a bad colorway of the Air Jordan 4 but if they do cost $400 then that?s just ridiculous. I like the snakeskin upper but I just can’t justify the retail price.

Were you able to cop the Air Jordan 2 Wing It that released this past weekend? Just like the Air Jordan 12 The Master colorway from last week, many people seemed to have liked this colorway of the Air Jordan 2.

Keeping things in the Air Jordan 2 family is this new PE colorway that was made specifically for Marquette University. Looking at the shoe we can see that this is a low-top version of the Air Jordan 2 and features a navy leather upper with Varsity Maize detailing on the eyelets, midsole, outsole, and Marquette logo on the tongue. University Blue accents also make an appearance on the laces, side panels and insoles to complete the Marquette color scheme. Capping things off is an icy translucent outsole.

News surfaced last year of Jordan Brand releasing another Air Jordan 10 “City” Pack in 2016. The cities that are expected to be represented in the pack include New York, Los Angeles, Charlotte and Chicago.

The Air Jordan 10 NYC will come in a black metallic leather upper that takes care of the entire base of the shoe. Both smooth and tumbled leather are found on the upper, which is nicely contrasted by the hits of gold accents found in the branding that include the NYC lettering found close to the ankle collar of the shoe. Additional gold hits are spotted on the striped heel tab. A set of black laces, lining and a sole unit complete the tonal look of the shoe.

Look a lot like the Air Jordan 10 OVO just without the stingray detailing. Will that be the only reason that these sit on shelves and the OVOs don’t? This colorway is too plain for me so I won’t be picking up a pair.

Releasing next month will be the Air Jordan 10 NYC which will be one of four sneakers from the upcoming Air Jordan 10 City Pack.

It is believed that the Air Jordan 10 NYC draws inspiration from the iconic and historic State of Liberty that is one of the most recognizable figures in the entire world. Black leather dominates the upper with tumbled leather detailing appearing on the mudguard, ankle and eyestay. Adding some contrast are hits of gold on the striped heel tab, speckling on the outsole and the NYC branding by the ankle.

We’re only a couple months away from the release of this brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 10 that draws inspiration from the flag of Chicago.

We have already gotten a few different looks at this vibrant colorway of the Air Jordan 10 but today we get some new up-close images at the shoe which show that the material on the upper looks to be nylon instead of the traditional leather build that this silhouette uses. The only place where we see leather is on the mudguard with the inclusion of tumbled leather. Even the tongue and eyestay are composed of nylon.

During the huge All-Star Weekend announcement of the Air Jordan Kobe auctions on eBay, Jordan Brand promised a “special announcement” at noon on Sunday, February 14th. Many presumed that the aforementioned announcement would be pertaining to a retail release of the Air Jordan Kobe Pack, but such an announcement never really came. Over the last couple of weeks, the white/purple/yellow Air Jordans have begun to appear on social media through certain celebrity channels, and today Michael Jordan’s son Marcus, who is poised to open doors to Trophy Room on late May, just unveiled some of the best photos yet of the Air Jordan Kobe Pack. It features model-specific dustbags, a double-sized box with two compartments for the shoes, and other markings that represent Kobe Bryant and, of course, Jordan Brand. A retail release hasn’t been confirmed yet, but if these were to drop, don’t be surprised if they become available near Kobe’s final game in mid-April.
