In less than a month, Jordan Brand is scheduled to release the Air Jordan 14 in the Oxidized Green colorway. It’s hard to believe the release date is right around the corner being that not much discussion, information or pictures have been provided/leaked. That recently changed as Marcus Jordan recently shared an image showing what the upcoming model looks like on-feet.

The Air Jordan 14 Oxidized Green initially released back in 1999. This version of the 14 comes with an upper consisting of White, Black, Oxidized Green, Legend Blue, and Metallic Silver. The White leather upper takes care of most of the shoe, while the hits of Black and Metallic Silver provide the main means of contrast. Your customary Jordan 14 logo appears on the side of the shoe, while the “23” branding on the heel comes in a Oxidized Green. In addition to a gym red colorway, the new Jordan Horizon Low will be offered in grey as well for one of its latest iterations this summer.

Comprised of a one-piece textile upper that is flexible and lightweight, the defining hue essentially covers this component, which also drapes its entire midsole. Black leather binding outlines the tongue and collar for a premium look, while additional hits of black is seen on the outsole and branding on the tongue to round out its simple two-tone palette.

Looking similar to the checkered pattern on the interior of the original Air Jordan 10 but not quite the same, this latest all-new colorway for the Air Jordan 1 Mid features a unique v-shaped motif on its inner lining. The rest of the color scheme is also not quite like anything we’ve seen on the Air Jordan 1, as it features a Wolf Grey upper with black faccents and metallic silver Swooshes for an overall look that does seem reminiscent of the OG “Steel” Air Jordan 10. The Jordan Eclipse has been on a hiatus as of late, right!? That’s soon about to change as we recently came across this lively rendition of the model. If you’re looking for a shoe with some pop to it, this could very well be the one.

Coming in an all-mesh construction, the shoe dons an Infrared 23 mesh on the toe, tongue and lining. It is then contrasted by the White mesh placed on the side panels and heel. The sole comes in White covered in Infrared 23 speckles. While even more of the same bold hue is found on the laces and pull tab. Lastly, a bit of Metallic Gold takes care of the Jumpman on the heel to help give the shoe some added “oomph”. Available internationally, we will let you know when these arrive stateside.

The Charlotte Observer recently reported that MJ has donated $500,000 in charities working with literacy in Charlotte. Along with the $500,000 donation, Michael Jordan and the other contributing partners will also cover the cost of building and stocking 18 libraries with books at preschools, child care centers, community centers and education nonprofits in the city?s low-income areas.

?When I took over majority control of the team, one of the biggest impacts I wanted … was to reconnect back to the community,? Jordan told hundreds of volunteers gathered Monday at Time Warner Cable Arena for the day of service. ?I felt (that connection) was lost a little bit with the previous ownership, and I felt it was very important. Six years later, here we are. … I am very proud of the commitment of the organization to the community. … My dedication, my drive, is to continue to connect with this community.”

Since becoming majority owner of the Hornets, Jordan and the team have given away more than $3 million for causes related to education, hunger, wellness and the military.
