Add The Air Jordan 1 High Premium Essentials To Your Rotation This Weekend
By SoleInsider
The Air Jordan 1 has long-since been a staple of anyone’s footwear rotation. The iconic silhouette will go down in history as one of the pairs that birthed the modern day sneaker industry for its head turning “Banned” colorway, Michael Jordan’s on-court exploits, and the fact that it was the first in the signature Jumpman series. It’s transitioned flawlessly into the lifestyle realm as a status symbol of fashion statement. This weekend, Jordan Brand will pay homage to that lineage with the Jordan 1 Premium Essentials Pack due out Saturday, August 6th.
The Air Jordan 1 High “Premium Essentials” takes the model and gives it two simple, understated high-contrast colorways in either White/Black or Black/White. It’s hard to believe that Jordan Brand didn’t release these offerings earlier in the three-decade span of Jordan 1 dominance. Each pair will retail for $160 USD and feature classic ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue in red for a standout feature.
The Jordan 1 Premium Essentials is available right now on eBay.

A white tumbled leather base adds a premium Remastered feel to the offering while Metallic Gold Coin lands on the Jumpman branding throughout in honor of the team’s pursuit of gold. A unique gradient midsole adds speckling throughout in Fire Red while a bold American flag graphic features Mike’s Olympic number 9 on the heel.

Designed by Nike designer extraordinaire, Tinker Hatfield, this particular colorway slight differs from its predecessor. While compared to its original counterpart, hits of blue are more prominent across its underlays. Comprised of premium leather, the overall aesthetic is essentially filled with patriotic flair. Pristine white dominates the upper, as navy-colored nubuck is utilized for its underlays, in addition to more applied on the ankle portion and outsole.
To encapsulate the USA-inspired palette, vibrant pops of red adorn the midsole unit more prominently, while additional accents are applied on the heel and inner lining. Finishing touches of metallic gold are seen on the tongue label, lace tips and jumpman logo across the ankle to coordinate with its respective theme.
