Chris Paul is one of the last true and through traditional point guards left in the NBA today. He’s a rare combination of insane court vision, handles, and creative playmaking that makes him one of the top players in the league season after season. CP3 has been a Jordan Brand athlete for over a decade now, and this season he’ll join rare company as he’s only the second player on Jordan Brand’s roster to reach a 10th signature silhouette with the Jordan CP3.X.

Guys like Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul represent a different time in the Jumpman history when the brand was still looking to expand their signature sneaker category for a roster full of some of the NBA’s top talent. Now players like Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and LeMarcus Aldridge all feature the latest numbered model, the Air Jordan XXX1 on-feet in a number of PE colorways throughout the year, allowing for Melo and Chris seniority in the signature lineup.

The Jordan CP3.X features a low top breathable mesh construction complete with a unique overlay that acts as a protective cage overlay with a swirling array of indentations, speckles, and Jumpman branding. This unique feature also morphs into the midsole unit for a low profile that allows for quick cuts and stability for maximum control. So far, three colorways have been showcased in a University Red/Infrared look, a Black/Volt full of vibrant speckles, and a simple Black/Ice with hints of Obsidian throughout. Capping off the celebration of the Summer 2016 Olympics in Rio, will be this special edition Air Jordan 5 Bronze that essentially utilizes the third place medals as its defining theme.

The distinctive hue is simply placed on the tongue to emphasize as if it was being worn around the neck, while it can also be found on the signature shark teeth component across its midsole unit. An Obsidian-based upper comprised of leather and synthetics complements the sneaker’s profile, as a white midsole unit and translucent icy blue outsole finishes off the design.

Full family sizing will be offered, with adult sizes retailing for $190, while GS, PS and TD sizes are listed at $140, $80 and $60 respectively.

You can buy purchase a pair at select JB and Nike retailers starting this Saturday, September 24th.

A woolen version of the Air Jordan 11 is expected to be offered this year as part of JB’s standout Holiday 2016 lineup, which will join alongside the return of the iconic Air Jordan 11 Space Jam.

As suggested, the basketball sneaker will host a wool constructed upper, which will essentially be similar to the upcoming AJ 3 Wool and AJ 12 Wool renditions as well. Dark grey and black comprises the model’s upper, while a white midsole unit and translucent outsole finishes off the more functional and premium profile.

After its proposed arrival this past Summer 2016, the Air Jordan 12 OVO White is suggested to finally be offered to the public sometime during the first quarter of 2017, and so will be its black counterpart, after its initial debut back in 2014.

Essentially similar to the aforementioned pair, the basketball sneaker is comprised of luxe components, such as stingray leather utilized on the forefoot, in addition to premium nubuck dominating the entire blacked-out upper. Furthermore, dark translucent outsoles and gold OVO owls are stamped on the insoles to cap off the respective collaboration.

The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard, which was inspired by the jersey that Michael Jordan wore when he shattered the backboard during a Nike exhibition game in Italy during 1985, is set to receive a reverse or alternate variation.

Noted to celebrate the upcoming AJ 31 Shattered Backboard as well, this time, unlike its original counterpart, the sneaker flaunts a similar color scheme that is evident on the original ?Chicago? release. Orange and white are the predominant tones, while black accents throughout its tumbled and smooth leather construction further complement its respective theme.

The news for the Air Jordan 1 continues to get even better in 2016. As if the return of the Air Jordan 1 Bred wasn’t already enough, it appears that the Air Jordan 1 Black Toe will also be getting the retro treatment once again this year.

Last seen in 2013, the Air Jordan 1 Black Toe features a White leather upper with Black and Varsity Red overlays to complete the Chicago Bulls colorway. The Nike Air branding has also been added on the tongue for that OG look.

There is no official release date yet for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Black Toe but we do know that it’s expected to release some time in November. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates and check out the first images above. Retail price is expected to be $160.

The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard just released last year for the first time ever and Jordan Brand is already using it as an inspiration for this upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 31.

Regarded as one of the most popular colorways of the Air Jordan 1 due to its backstory and use of premium materials, the Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard serves as the inspiration for the Air Jordan 31. Russell Westbrook was seen debuting the Air Jordan 31 Shattered Backboard in a photo shoot with GQ Taiwan. The shoe comes in a color combination similar to the Air Jordan 1s as Black and Starfish combine on the Flyweave and leather upper.

The Air Jordan 31 Shattered Backboard is currently scheduled to release on October 1, 2016 for $185.

Next up this weekend for Jordan Brand is a new colorway of the Air Jordan 5. After giving us the Gold Medal/Olympic colorway last month, Jordan Brand sticks to the Olympic theme with this pair even though the Olympics are long and gone.

Known as the Air Jordan 5 Bronze, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 comes covered in an Obsidian leather upper with vibrant bronze detailing on the tongue and the shark teeth on the midsole. The midsole is done White, while an icy blue translucent outsole and blue Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel wrap things up.

The Air Jordan 4 Premium Ginger is booty. No, I don’t mean it in the same way that The New Days uses the word, but rather the look and feel of this upcoming high-end Jordan Brand release has a booty feel to it. Like it took its inspiration from classic work boots of the past and present to give it a tougher and more rugged appearance. The year 2016 has seen the Air Jordan 4 return in both an OG style but also to places, materials and prices that we never imagined. Time will tell if this new pair of 4s will be another hit that empties our wallet or if the sneaker community has had enough booty in their lives. Like Booty-Os cereal, although that’s far from booty.

The Air Jordan Future will be getting a drastic makeover as we transition from Summer to Fall.

Set to debut later this week is the all-new Jordan Future Boot. Jordan Brand has taken the Air Jordan Future (which is already a spin-off of the Air Jordan 11) and mix it up once again by transforming it into a boot. This Jordan Future Boot features a khaki/tan suede upper with tonal hits on the laces, eyelets, inner liner, sole, and branding.
