Jordan Brand is aiming to cap off its women’s exclusive line in a high point for 2016, as this Air Jordan 6 GS dubbed “Purple Dynasty,” will close out the month of December.

First previewed back in July, Mandy’s Air Jordan 3 features a hot pink leather upper with tonal hits on the laces, tongue, inner liner, and elephant print. We got an exclusive look at the upcoming release as a premium all-white construction is meant to pay homage to the theme of blank canvases. The Air Jordan 16 retro comes with its own touches of South Beach flare with subdued accents of Miami Vice-like teal and pink arriving on the shroud and outsole. The SoleFly Air Jordan 16 will even feature a special surprise: select pairs will be autographed by Michael Jordan himself for those that are waiting in line this coming Saturday!

Space Jam season officially gets underway this weekend as we’ll be seeing a handful of “Space Jam” Air Jordans hit retailers beginning on Saturday.

But if you happen to be in the New York area then you’ll have early access to a few releases. Harlem’s House Of Hoops has released the Air Jordan 9 Space Jam, Air Jordan 1 Ultra High Space Jam, and the Air Jordan 31 Space Jam today a couple of days before their general release. So what about the Space Jam 11s? You’ll have to wait until next week to get your hands on a pair of those bad boys.

Jordan Brand continues to dig deeper into the archives for their upcoming 2017 release slate, as the Air Jordan 15 Obsidian will return this coming Spring season.

The Air Jordan 15 was perhaps one of the strangest post-retirement silhouettes thanks to the design cues throughout. The Jordan 15’s main inspiration was NASA’s X-15 aircraft for space exploration, but the silhouette also had a major controversy when many attributed the design of the sneaker to high-fashion brand Prada. The model championed a quick-lace system with Kevlar mesh creating the woven lifestyle aesthetic throughout. A comfortable Zoom Air system added just the right amount of cushioning. There’s no word yet on how much the pair will cost, but we’ll also see the original Black/Red Air Jordan 15 return in January.

Nike is making noise this Holiday 2016 by releasing their first-ever self-lacing sneaker in limited numbers with the introduction of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0. A lucky select few have already gotten their hands on a pair, from basketball star Kyrie Irving to the movie star Michael B. Jordan, and they all share a similar response – a mixture of disbelief and youthful surprise. Nike is making a once fictitious technology real, afterall.

Jordan’s relationship with the Jumpman and Nike can be seen all throughout the latest Rocky spin-off Creed in which he’s decked out in Swoosh and Jordan Brand apparel throughout the movie, so that might explain his hookup for an early look at the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0. MBJ even got to try on the friends and family version, or as he likes to call them ‘the crispy all-white joints’.

Jordan Brand continues to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Space Jam, which originally released in November 15, 1996.

Today, the label launched DEFY — a 90-second spot imagining a new take on the classic story to inspire a new generation to defy expectations.

The short film envisions a world in which the Monstars return to Earth demanding compliance with their brand of basketball. This time around, the Monstars wear the Air Jordan 9, in hope that some of the magic that inspired their own glorious defeat will reverse fortune.

The Jordan family however, led by Blake Griffin and Jimmy Butler, are equipped with the new Air Jordan 31. These anti-Gravity Machines are poised to upend the Monstars’ soulless game.

In addition to the shoes, Michael Jordan has sent SoleFly “something very special” for the pop-up event, and although it is unclear what that may be, it could be something pertaining to the XVI, the first shoe from Michael Jordan’s comeback in the early 2000s.
