One of the least expected bringbacks from the Jordan Brand retro department of the year is no doubt the original Trunner. The early-2000s training shoe that broke Jordan into the training shoe market is back in OG form, with this classic Chicago Bulls color scheme in black and red with white accents for the mesh, woven textile, and suede upper. The Jordan 3 Katrina is finally releasing this Holiday 2017 season alongside the Jordan 3 Black Cat for what could be the two premier releases for Jordan Brand’s Fall/Winter retro collection. The Jordan 3 Katrina was a special version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro created exclusively for charity auctions supporting relief efforts in Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath back in 2006. Now over a decade later, we’ll finally see the Chicago-esque pair featuring a matching red lining and midsole release at retailers. The Air Jordan 3 Black Cat first released back in 2007 featuring an all black colorway with premium patent leather on the mudguard, nubuck, and jet black elephant print for a simple classic that fits right in with the Jumpman’s current all-black overhauling of select retro models. Although it won’t be the exact iteration, the forthcoming silhouette is noted to be very similar to Melo’s PE pair. Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2017 lineup will be filled with new and classic variations of the Air Jordan lineage, as this new Air Jordan 6 Gatorade consists as one particular standout.

Suggested to be a tribute to the classic ?Be Like Mike? Gatorade commercial, a rendering of the purported pair has just released, which displays a green/orange color scheme across its nubuck with leather overlays as a nod to the brand?s respective logo.

Interestingly, a new colrorway of the Air Jordan 6 was also previewed during Mark Wahlberg?s recent trip to Nike?s world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, which may suggest that it’s only a sample.
