Release Date: Air Jordan 13 Playoffs
By SoleInsider
(Images above are not the 2017 Air Jordan 13 Playoffs release)
The Air Jordan 13 Playoffs will be releasing once more. As of right now the shoe is expected to be making its return on June 20th.
Considered one of the most popular colorways of the Air Jordan 13, Jordan wore these for the first time during the ?98 NBA All-Star Game and was also his go-to shoe for the playoffs that followed soon thereafter. It comes with a Black leather upper with suede overlays to add a nice premium touch to the shoe. It is then contrasted by the hits of White and Red placed on the branding, midsole and outsole. A little bit of Yellow is found on the tongue, while the hologram logo on the heel completes the look of the shoe.
As of right now it appears as if the Air Jordan 13 Playoffs will be releasing in Europe on June 20th for $190, but there’s a good chance that the shoe will also be arriving stateside on the very same day, stay tuned and well be sure to confirm as soon as we get more info.

The Original Jordan Spizike Cement Colorways Are Returning This Summer
By SoleInsider
Jordan Brand is bringing back the original Jordan Spiz’ike “Cement” colorway this summer next to a Black/Varsity Red option that may be this “Fresh Since ’85” option from 2010, each set to release on June 20th, 2017. The Jordan Spiz’ike hybrid first debuted in October 2006 with the upper comprised of components from the retro models featured in all of the Spike Lee-helmed Mars Blackmon ads during the late-80s and early-90s. Jordan Brand periodically brought the hybrid back and it even was featured on NIKEiD, but has since slowed down in production for the past couple of years. Are you excited about some OG Spiz’ike looks returning to retailers? Pricing information hasn’t been confirmed yet, but head over to our Jordan Release Dates page for all of the coming Jumpman retro offerings.
It’s shaping up to be a big year for the Air Jordan 13 in original colorways. Not only have we already seen the OG white and red colorway drop this year, but two never-retroed Air Jordan 13 Lows are also coming back. There’s at least a fourth OG Air Jordan 13 to get excited about coming up in 2017: the much loved “Playoffs” version in black leather with red and white accents. Shortly following up the “Chutney” 13 Low on June 10th, the Playoffs colorway returns to the shelves on June 20th?at least according to European retailers. No images are available of the latest retro yet (that’s the 2011 retro pictured above), so stay tuned for a preview of the anticipated return of the “Playoffs” Air Jordan 13, as well as an official drop date for the USA.
We’ve known it’s coming back for a while now, but until today we didn’t know exactly when. The first-ever retro for the Air Jordan 13 Low “Chutney” will hit retailers on June 10th. Following the “Brave Blue” colorway’s first return this weekend, the “Chutney” version will be one of the very few original Air Jordan colorways from the 1-14 era left that hasn’t retroed. Is this the last Air Jordan that you hardcore collectors have to check off your lists? Where do we go from here? While you contemplate the state of Air Jordan retros, mark that June 10th release date on your calendars if you’re after a pair.
WWE Kicks Wrestlemania Edition: Shane McMahon, Rob Gronkowski Steal The Show In Air Jordans
By SoleInsider
WWE’s biggest night lived up to the hype (mostly) as Wrestlemania 33 delivered with a number of matches and moments that fans will be talking about for weeks and, in the case of The Undertaker if this indeed is his last ride, years to come. There was something for every type of wrestling fan, from the hardcore purists who loved the Kickoff Match between Neville and Austin Aries to the internet wrestling community who popped huge for the return of the #Broken (but not really because lawsuits) Hardyz to the casual types who adored John Cena proposing to longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella and the WWE lifers who caught all sorts of feels when ‘Taker left his gear in the ring. The sneakerheads who were looking for something heat on the feet of WWE’s finest were not disappointed either.
Wrestlemania proper began with a grudge match between everybody’s favorite pure wrestler, AJ Styles, and everybody’s favorite son of the owner of the company, Shane McMahon. WWE loves to say that there are several main events in every Wrestlemania, but the reality is that if you’re not on last, you might as well go on first to set the table and let every other performer try to top your work. And as memorable as the night was, no match could top what AJ and Shane put together. Shane-O-Mac even got Sneaker Twitter talking with the Air Jordan XXX1s he had on, which turned out to be the CNY colorway. Shane rocks retros for Smackdown Live, but he goes with the current model for pay-per-view. That should tell you something when he’s attempting a Shooting Star Press…
As for the rest of the night in kicks, the NFL made an impact on WWE’s signature show with an appearance from Rob Gronkowski and his Air Jordan 6s in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trying to help his friend Mojo Rawley. Kofi Kingston played Wrestlemania host alongside his New Day buddies in adidas JS Wings, Enzo Amore made his presence felt in custom Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Golds, Nikki Bella brought out her Mache-designed Nike Dunks, and the duo of Carmella and James Ellsworth wore black and gold Js for the Smackdown Women’s Championship Match.

Jordan Brand Has Air Jordan 12 Cleats For MLB Opening Day
By SoleInsider
Major League Baseball is back! The days of Spring Training are over as the 2017 season kicked off last night with a matchup between the defending world champion Chicago Cubs and their National League rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals. Jordan Brand celebrated by giving some of their more noteworthy players custom Air Jordan 12 PEs featuring some premium constructions that we’d love to see extend to the general release lineup (without the cleat bottoms, of course). Luxurious touches of caviar leather, suede, patent leather, and even Skittle-inspired insoles were given to Dellin Betances, Mookie Betts, David Price, CC Sabathia, Dexter Fowler and Gio Gonzalez. Check out the full Air Jordan 12 MLB Opening Day 2017 Collection below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

Our Best Look Yet At The PSNY x Air Jordan 12 Bordeaux
By SoleInsider
We’ve seen the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 Bordeaux before but these latest images of the upcoming collab between PSNY and Jordan Brand gives us our best look yet. Said to be one of the three upcoming PSNY x Air Jordan 12 colorways, this version rocks a Bordeaux-colored upper constructed out of a premium nubuck. The tonal theme of the shoe extends on to the entire sole unit, laces, eyelets and all of the branding hits. Special features on the shoe include the signature PSNY tongues and Public School insole branding. FYI, it’s going to be tough getting a pair being that they are rumored be super exclusive and will only be sold at select cities around the country. Is the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 Bordeaux the best color option from the pack? Stay tuned as more info begins to surface.
The Jordan Formula 23 Toggle Comes With A Unique Lacing System
By SoleInsider
Not to be confused with the Jordan Formula 23, the Jordan Formula 23 Toggle shares many similarities but the new unique lacing system os what helps it stand out from the pack.
This modified version of the Jordan Formula 23 appears to be a lower-cut version thanks in large part to the shorter neoprene inner sleeve. A new feature on the shoe is the unique bungee cord lacing system (peep the toggle on the heel) that gives you the liberty of tightening or loosening up the overall fit of the shoe. Below you will find a phylon midsole and rubber outsole that help make the shoe lightweight, low profile & responsive. We found these at an international retailer for $135, so it leads us to believe that we could be seeing these stateside in the near future.
The Jordan Formula 23 Toggle Introduces A Strange Lacing System
By SoleInsider
While simple in construction and the overall silhouette of this new Jordan lifestyle shoe, the lacing system is quite intricate for the Formula 23 Toggle. Obviously the main feature of the model since it even references the lacing system in the name, the Formula 23 Toggle features a bungee-cord-like lacing design that loosens and tightens in the heel with a lace lock?the same that you know from the Air Jordan 6. Are you feeling the techy design? If you like what you see, be on the lookout for these at select Jordan Brand retailers soon.
#ArtonFire: Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royal Inspired Art
By SoleInsider
Jordan Brand went HAM this weekend! There were plenty of releases to choose from, but there’s no doubt that the most coveted ones has a Jumpman (or Nike Air in this case) on them. One day after dropping the KAWS x Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand gives us another gem in the form of the remastered version of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royal. Rocking that tumbled leather we all most of us love, the Royal 1s were definitely a hot pick up this Saturday morning. Who managed to score a pair? Whether the answer is yes or no, I thought it’d be cool to share some Jordan 1 High Royal inspired #ArtonFire with you guys that will either make you even happier that you scored a pair or even more depressed that you got to add another L to your resume. Check out the artwork below and be sure to tap/click on the artist?s name to see more of their work on IG!
Parisian-based cappiekaldi gives us a quick illustration of the Jordan 1 High Royal everyone was after this morning. Rumors suggest that the Royals were a bit harder to pick up than the Bred 1s that dropped last year, so if you got a pair, consider yourself lucky. You’ve got a good one on your hands.
Hand drawn. The artwork you see above is hand drawn! How dope is that?! London-based stephfmorris creates a work of art in the form of this clean Air Jordan 1 High drawing. “Technically” it’s supposed to be a Jordan 1 Bred, but since it’s done in greyscale, I’m pretty sure they it can also be classified as a Royal 1, right? But that’s beside the point. Lowkey, I’d be just as hyped owning this original piece as I’d be owning a pair of actual Royal 1s.
parktyson is the man when it comes to creating dope little caricatures of your athletes all while wearing kicks on fire (see what I did there). One of hit latest creations has Kawhi and MJ doing their best impersonation of the Sistine Chapel all while admiring the beauty of the Jordan 1 and 31 Flight Guy Royal that dropped this morning. Peep Jordan’s teammates and the Jordan Brand athletes behind the GOAT.
Although this one was already shared on our KicksonFire IG earlier this week, being that the grandaddy of them all (Wrestlemania) takes place Sunday evening, it was a must to share this cmineses_designs illustration that pairs up two of the biggest events of the weekend. Royal 1s dropped this a.m. and the Undertaker could possibly be fighting his last match ever tomorrow night at Wrestlemania. What a time to be alive!
Got any sneaker related #ArtonFire? Be sure to tag me on IG and I?ll do my best to share it on the site.
There May Be A PSNY x Air Jordan 15 Collab In The Works
By SoleInsider
We’ve already reported that PSNY and Jordan are be linking once more to release a trio of new PSNY x Air Jordan 12 colorways. Today’s news suggest that a PSNY x Air Jordan 15 collab could also be in the works.
What you see above is a teaser image of what is believed to be the PSNY x Air Jordan 15. Recently shared by Dao-Yi Chow, the teaser image shows PSNY branding on the heel region of the shoe. While this could easily be a nice photoshopped image, it wouldn’t be too far of a reach to think these could actually be dropping considering that Jordan Brand has been bringing back Air Jordan 15 colorways this year. Thoughts on this potential collab? Would you like to see them drop? Let us know in the comments below.
After its original debut back in 2001 — sixteen years ago — the Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia will be receiving its first retro rendition this season.
Reflective of its OG counterpart, the defining carolina blue-colored patent leather overlay simply encompasses its entire upper, while the remaining upper composition in white is comprised of premium leather.
Finishing off the simplistic two-tone profile are white laces, a matching midsole unit and translucent outsole.
Retailing for $175, you can buy this classic pair at select Nike and JB stockists starting April 15th.
