Initially revealed last summer, the adidas Y-3 Pure Boost ZG Knit for Spring 2016 has now arrived at retailers nationwide.

Essentially another stylish iteration of a runner by heralded designer, Yohji Yamamoto, the low-top sneaker is constructed of the brand’s latest tech such as a breathable Primeknit upper and comfortable boost-equipped midsole which is suited for running.

Maintaining a classic palette as well to highlight its versatility, tones of black and white cover its entirety, while additional details include a TPU sidewall, 3-stripe motif for added support and more embossed branding throughout.

Here we take a first look at the Highsnobiety x adidas Campus 80s that features a never-seen-before glove leather upper and contrasting butter soft tan leather lining that features custom Highsnobiety allover patterning and branding. A pre-release will be available on Highsnobiety on April 2, followed by a limited release on April 9 at No.42 Paris, No.74 Berlin and global adidas Consortium accounts.

I’ve never really been a fan of the Campus 80s silhouette but the tonal grey upper and the materials used on this collaborative pair give the shoe a nice luxurious look. Solid collaboration from Highsnobiety.

New Yeezy alert! Kanye West was recently spotted wearing a brand new adidas Yeezy Boost model/sihouette. The image you see above shows Kanye wearing an all-black version of this new model in question. From the naked eye, it appears as if it’s a slightly altered versions of the 350 Boost. On the other hand it also appears to look very similar to the recently rumored adidas Yeezy Boost 550. Notable features on the shoe include the solid black upper and the semi-translucent sole. Have you hopped on to the adidas NMD hype train yet? Have you not been able to get a pair yet? If so, adidas will soon give you another chance at picking up the most popular model of 2016 (thus far), as four new colorways of the adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo are set to release sooner than you expect.

This version of the adidas NMD is the best (and most expensive) version that adidas has to offer. The fact that the upper comes with Primeknit construction and the sole comes infused with Boost technology makes this version very highly coveted. The uppers come in tonal camo colorways to give the shoe a clean and distinct look. Two camo colorways released not too long ago and they managed to sell out instantly, expect the same outcome on all four of these pairs. It’s hard to believe that Derrick Rose already has 6 adidas signatures shoes under his belt. The fact that he’s been injured more often than not in the past several years have caused the casual fan to overlook Rose and his shoes. It looks as it Rose may have turned the corner this year though. While he may not be the MVP-type Rose we’re used too, being able to play an entire season without a significant injury is a victory within itself. With that being said, perhaps next year will be another year of improvement. If that is in fact the case, Rose will be doing it while wearing the adidas D Rose 7, his 7th adidas signature shoe.

The shoe above is shown in 2 tonal colorways. Both are contrasted by a white midsol. Notable features on the shoe include the Three Stripes branding on the toe. The full-length Boost midsole and what appears to be a Primeknit upper. It looks very different from what we’re used to seeing on the Rose signature line. It may be just me, but doesn’t it resemble the Nike LeBron 13 just a little bit? I’ll reserve my judgement until more pictures are leaked, but the fact that it comes with Boost and Primeknit means that it’s already off to a good start.

Adidas will be bringing back the adidas Climacool 1 this weekend after its original release in the early 2000s.

The adidas Climacool 1 comes equipped with a full Climacool breathable mesh construction, TPU overlays on the toe and quarter provide structural support, complemented by a perforated sockliner and outsole tooling for 360-degree breathability. As you can see above, the Climacool will be returning in four different tonal colorways that include red, black, green and white.

The technology and materials used on the Climacool 1 make it look like a very comfortable shoe. I’ve never tried on a pair but I can definitely tell that a few silhouettes of today have taken some design inspiration from the CC1.

Fun-loving skateboard brand Alltimers teams up with adidas Originals this spring for a capsule collection highlighted by the Superstar Vulc. The skate brand/crew lends their signature vintage-inspired style to the iconic shelltoe sneaker remodeled specifically for skateboarding, featuring a white leather upper with suede detailing and navy and orange accents. Just when I thought we were done talking about black, white and gold tonight, here comes “another one”, as DJ Khaled would say.

Sporting a shiny gold metallic gold heel counter, this adidas Ultra Boost sample once again breathes a fresh new look to an instantly classic silhouette. It’s amazing what a few changes like that will do to a sneaker that we already feel is one of the best to come out of the three stripes in a very long time.

But of course, there’s a catch to all of this and that’s in the form of the black Primeknit upper. It could just be a less than stellar image quality, but the upper appears to use the same wavy pattern as other general release Ultra Boosts and judging from past releases, that’s not a good sign.

Now it could just be us jumping the gun on this and it’s actually a pure black Primeknit upper, so stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more information on this release.

Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: Take my money already, adidas. The gold heel is a great new wrinkle to the Ultra Boost, although I hope it’s a solid counter that won’t scratch or fade right away after multiple wears. I need those to stay shiny for well, forever. Hope that’s not too much to ask.
