Camo And Croc Combine On This adidas Stan Smith

ADIDAS STAN SMITH 1 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 2 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 3 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 4 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 5 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 6 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 7

If you’re a fan of classic sneakers with a subtle twist, then you’re gonna love this new adidas Stan Smith.

At first glance this looks like your ordinary white leather Stan Smith, but when you take a closer look you realize that the upper has a croc texture all over while the heel has been hit with camouflage detailing. Other details include perforated three stripes branding, black branding on the tongue, and a white rubber midsole.

The perfect mix of classic and modern, expect this colorway of the adidas Stan Smith to arrive at retailers some time next year.

Author’s Take

The croc textured upper is dope, but I’d like to see a color other than white. That camo heel tab is also a nice touch.

ADIDAS STAN SMITH 8 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 9 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 10 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 11 ADIDAS STAN SMITH 12

The Triple Black colorway has been receiving a lot of attention this Fall season with sneakers like the Nike Flyknit Racer and adidas Ultra Boost, both which will be releasing this week.

But adidas has switched things up a bit with this latest release as they’ve taken the opposite route and used the also popular Triple White color scheme. The silhouette being utilized this time around is the Stan Smith which has been covered in a full leather upper with perforated branding on the side panels and debossed branding on the heels.

You can pick up this adidas Stan Smith in Triple White at select adidas retailers now for $75.

Author’s Take

An all-white Stan Smith is such a classic sneaker that you just can’t go wrong with. It’s like an all-white Air Force 1 or Reebok Classic Leather. Simple and classic.

Adidas Will Be Releasing A Low Top Version Of The Tubular Instinct

ADIDAS TUBULAR INSTINCT LOW 1 ADIDAS TUBULAR INSTINCT LOW 2 ADIDAS TUBULAR INSTINCT LOW 3 ADIDAS TUBULAR INSTINCT LOW 4 ADIDAS TUBULAR INSTINCT LOW 5 ADIDAS TUBULAR INSTINCT LOW 6

The adidas Tubular Instinct stepped onto the scene earlier this year and so far has only released in high top form. But with the way adidas tinkers with lots of their silhouettes these days, you knew that the odds of seeing a low top version was definitely a possibility.

Well here it is. Up above we get our first look at the adidas Tubular Instinct Low in two different tonal colorways of Core Black and Clear Brown. The chopped down Tubular comes equipped with a suede upper and mesh detailing on the back half of the shoe. No firm release date is available yet, but look for the adidas Tubular Instinct Low to release stateside as early as January of 2017. What do you think?

via: Asphalt Gold

Author’s Take

I do like the low top version better than the high, but I still don’t think I would actually buy a pair. I’m sure Tubular fans will like it though.

Heres A First Look At The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Chinese New Year

adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 1 adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 2 adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 3 adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 4 adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 5 adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 6 adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged 7

We’ve seen a handful of colorways of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged release this year, but none quite like this one.

Believed to be the pair designed for Chinese New Year (that takes place on January 28, 2017), this Uncaged Ultra Boost features a white Primeknit upper with multicolor speckling throughout. The laces have then been given a graphic print to add a little more color to the shoe. The plastic heel counter, elastic ankle, Boost midsole, and Continental rubber outsole have all been done in white as well to keep things clean.

No release date is available yet for the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Chinese New Year, but take a look at the official images above and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Author’s Take

Looks kind of similar to the white pairs that have already released. I think adidas could have done much better with this Chinese New Year colorway. I’m not impressed.

The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Will Ring In The Chinese New Year

The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged will join its caged brother in helping to celebrate the Chinese New Year in the near future. The Primeknit and Boost combination takes a simple approach this year, as a white knit upper sees speckles of black and red throughout for a random array of swirls to compliment the unique lace option included in this release.

While it might not have the flashy orange Boost midsole that the coming adidas Ultra Boost “Trace Cargo” champions, the subtle colorway is a nice change of pace for the celebratory occasion.

What do you think of the upcoming adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Chinese New Year? Check out more detailed photos after the break and expect this pair to release in mid-January 2017, but you can head over to our release dates page for more updates.

KoF Live Exclusive: The adidas NMD R2 Hits The Streets Of Los Angeles

adidas NMD R2 Black Pink8 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink12 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink11 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink10 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink7 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink9 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink5 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink4 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink6 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink3 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink1 adidas NMD R2 Black Pink2

This weekend the sequel to the adidas NMD R1 hits stores with a few subtle changes that will definitely have sneakerheads talking for the coming year. The adidas NMD R2 – featured here in the women’s black and pink colorway because #ChicksOnFire – at first glance doesn’t deviate from the successful formula that the three stripes unleashed upon the world last year; it still has a Primeknit upper, multilingual “Brand With The Three Stripes” verbiage, EVA plugs and Boost cushioning. But it’s how those elements are implemented this time around that’s different.

The Primeknit upper now features a striped stitched pattern that sits atop the shoe, giving it a 3D look up close. The branding on the heel tabs is now secured by a suede patch material that is unlike those found on the R1. The EVA plugs that were found on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe on the R1 can now be found on the latter only. Taking the place of the plugs on the lateral side for are die-cut stripes found on the Boost. The result is a sneaker that will more than likely continue the winning streak of the NMD as we approach the new year.

Check out these exclusive images of the adidas NMD R2 in the women’s black and pink (it’s actually more salmon than anything) to get you ready for the December 3rd drop. And be sure to like us on Facebook so you can be notified of the next we broadcast another unboxing on Facebook Live.

First Look At The adidas Tubular Instinct Low

The adidas Tubular series has taken a backseat to the NMD and Ultra Boost madness in recent months, but that hasn’t stopped the three stripes from continuing their innovation of the Tubular imprint with subtle fine tuning and material swaps for the months ahead. Today we get a first look at the adidas Tubular Instinct Low featuring bolstered suede, added mesh on the heel, and a brand new low-top construction to further the casually inclined style that the Tubular has become so famous for.

Two casual colorways showcase the simplicity of the adidas Tubular Instinct Low to start things off with a Core Black rendition utilizing an off-white “Chalk White” midsole unit for an added lifestyle flair. Trefoil branding can be found embossed on the tongue tag while added striping helps the laces stand out. A “Clear Brown” colorway will also arrive at retailers this coming January.

Select shops like Asphalt Gold will be stocking this new Tubular creation come January 2017. Check out more detailed shots below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Is Back With Another Colorized Midsole

The rare times that the adidas Ultra Boost and adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged have showcased colorized Boost midsoles, the pairs have been runaway successes. It’s easy to understand why we don’t see the look more often – the ability to paint the midsoles would lead to cracking given the flexible and responsive cushion system, but we may have the most original colorway on the Ultra Boost Uncaged yet thanks to a vibrant orange Boost for this upcoming release.

The adidas Ultra Boost “Trace Cargo” is headed to retailers on December 2nd for $180 USD featuring a casual colorway with Trace Cargo and Linen Khaki Primeknit throughout, but the real show stealer is the contrasting orange midsole for a head-turning look. Other international shops like the Phillippines’ Sole Academy are reporting a release in incredibly limited numbers on November 30th, but it’s still unknown how many pairs will be available stateside.

What do you think of the look? Check out more of this Ultra Boost Uncaged “Trace Cargo” below and be sure to head over to our release dates page for an updated look at all of the coming Holiday 2016 attractions.

Seen above is the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged covered in all-black. Everything from the Primeknit upper, to the Continental rubber outsole, to the signature Boost midsole have been done in black.

There is no stateside release date yet for the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Triple Black, but select retailers overseas will begin releasing pairs on November 30th. Are you a fan of the colorway? Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more release information.

Author’s Take

I’m sure this will be a hot pickup for fans of the silhouette. I’m not too big on all-black sneakers so I’ll most likely be passing on these.

SNS X ADIDAS D ROSE 7 1 SNS X ADIDAS D ROSE 7 2 SNS X ADIDAS D ROSE 7 3 SNS X ADIDAS D ROSE 7 4 SNS X ADIDAS D ROSE 7 5

We recently found out that Sneakersnstuff out of Sweden has partnered up with adidas to create a collaborative pair of the… D Rose 7?

It’s not too often that we see a shoe from the adidas Basketball category get collaborative love so we were pretty shocked when we heard the D Rose 7 was the silhouette of choice for this project. The Sneakersnstuff x adidas D Rose 7 Primeknit features a grey upper with hits of yellow and blue throughout that represent both the color of the Swedish flag as well as Derrick Rose’s high school team colors.

The Sneakersnstuff x adidas D Rose 7 will be releasing online at SNS on November 29th (tomorrow) for a retail price of $180. A wider release will then be taking place on December 3rd.

Author’s Take

It’s cool to see a basketball shoe be part of a collaboration. I’m feeling the Primeknit upper and the colors used on this D Rose 7. Solid job by Sneakersnstuff.
