With a name like “New York” this colorway of the retro silhouette from adidas is sure to appeal to fans of the New York Yankees.

This adidas New York features a combination of mesh and suede throughout the upper which has been covered in a dark shade of blue. Adding some contrast is Matte Silver which can be seen on the three stripes branding, heel tab, and the tongue branding. Capping things off is a a grey web wrapped EVA midsole for comfort. The Kith x Naked x adidas NMD City Sock 2 will be getting a wider release this upcoming weekend after dropping exclusively at Kith and Naked last week.

Marking the debut of the NMD City Sock 2, the slip-on runner from adidas comes constructed out of a mélange Primeknit upper done in mix of pink and white. Other details include a foldover detail on the lateral side for increased accessibility, debossed details on the lateral side of the BOOST midsoles, and Kith and Naked branding on the heel tabs.

Releasing at select adidas Consortium retailers on March 11th for $210, let us know down below if you plan on picking up a pair.

Inspired by the rich sportswear heritage of adidas’ own archive, and its global cultural impact, the adidas SPEZIAL collection has affirmed itself as an important and integral part of the adidas Originals output over the course of the last two years. Its premium and carefully curated range of product is inspired by the brand’s past, and geared towards a modern, progressive perspective.

For SS17 SPEZIAL turns its attention to the parallels between British casual culture and Jamaican reggae culture. Two cultures which, at first glance, seem glaringly different but share a host of commonalities. It seems like every single week at least one new colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 pops up out of nowhere. This week is this colorways that has the latest version of the adidas Ultra Boost rock an upper that effortlessly blends Grey hues with Olive ones.

The Primeknit upper utilizes both aforementioned hues, whereas Olive is the color chosen to take care of the heel counter. Additional features include clear cage, Grey lining, dual-colored laces, White Boost midsole and Black rubber outsole. The premium SPEZIAL line from adidas Originals celebrating the brand’s rich history with a carefully curated selection of archival models is back again for an all-new collection for Spring/Summer 2017. The latest collection takes influence from both British casual and Jamaican reggae cultures, drawing similarities from the two into one cohesive set of lesser-know vintage adidas silhouettes as well as on-trend apparel pieces.

For the footwear, the SPEZIAL collection includes the Atlanta SPZL, Jogger SPZL, the Brisbane SPZL leisure shoe, and the Garwen SPZL, each chosen for their cross-cultural appeal from the UK and Jamaica. The adidas NMD is definitely thinking pink this spring, as today we preview another pink-accented colorway. Just yesterday we saw a new “Pink Rose” look for the shoe with a vibrant pink “glitch camo” Primeknit upper, and now you can get a good preview of an upcoming version with pronounced rear “bumpers” in the same bright shade. Obviously toning the pink down a few notches for the glitch camo colorway, these features a black and dark grey Primeknit upper with light grey front midsole inserts and a splash of pink in the larger heel bumpers on both the lateral and medial sides.

No exact release date for this “Essential Pink” colorway of the NMD R1 is available yet, but you can expect them to release sometime in April. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for further updates.

The adidas NMD R1 Pink Rose will be joined alongside this Sun Glow variant, as it’s part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 lineup.

While this Sun Glow color scheme has been utilized on previous releases such as this pair, this forthcoming variation however, flaunts the defining hue across its entire stretch mesh upper.

Complementing white accents are implemented on the three stripe motif across its side panels, branded heel patch and full length boost sole unit with EVA inserts. Finally, black heel pull tabs with white branding round out its overall details.

Another day, another adidas NMD perfect for the coming Spring 2017 season. By now you should be familiar with the three stripes’ “Sun Glow” shade. We’ve seen it on the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 and “Glitch Camo” variation of the NMD R1, but today we get a look at a modified take that’s all about keeping things simple with a release date planned for early April 2017.

This adidas adidas NMD R1 “Sun Glow” benefits from a stretch-web (the perfect middle ground between mesh and Primeknit) slip-on construction with speckles of white throughout the salmon-esque pink shade. White three stripes branding matches the off-white midsole bumpers while a sharp contrast of black hits the international ‘Brand With The Three Stripes’ heel tab. If the success of other past pink colorways is any indication, the adidas NMD Sun Glow will be a big hit once it arrives at (and then quickly disappears from) retailers next month.

The adidas NMD has been the perfect storm for adidas, as they’ve capitalized on the ever-growing interest in Boost cushioning paired with Primeknit woven uppers and a sleek, simple profile for a lifestyle shoe that anyone can love. While most of the focus remains on the original NMDs, the sequel to one of the most popular silhouettes out is picking up some momentum with another adidas NMD R2 planned to release this April. While this new colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged was introduced in January, the release date has not been confirmed until now.

Set to debut next month, the sleek sneaker is essentially defined by its signature primeknit construction in clear grey, and upon closer inspection, the knitted composition is subtly accentuated with orange and blue threading as well. A tonal grey TPU heel counter further reinforces its profile, while the sneaker is topped off with a complementing white boost midsole unit and black outsole.
