The adidas Tubular Doom has long since been a fan favorite for its unique midsole, sleek design, and the ability flawlessly blend its early 90s past as a training model with today’s most coveted lifestyle aesthetic choices – a high-arching ankle collar, sock-like fit, and beautiful Primeknit woven upper. For those of you that are currently on the adidas Originals bandwagon – and that should be just about everyone these days – we have some good news: two brand new tonal colorways of the adidas Tubular Doom Primeknit are headed to retailers on Friday, September 9th.
The adidas Tubular Doom Primeknit utilizes a monochromatic “Core Black” colorway with a brand new herringbone pattern on the neoprene overlaying straps to differentiate the numerous panels for a head-turning look. A premium suede hits the heel and side panel overlay to honor the original Tubular model from 1993 while contrasting adidas trefoil branding hits the tongue tab. For those looking for a lighter pair, there’s also a “Vintage White” offering headed to retailers this weekend as well. The inverted colorway also features herringbone patterns throughout while an underlying woven construction brings comfort and breathability with ease.
