If you didn’t know already, the adidas Superstar is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary. The latest 50th anniversary colorway is seen above with this pair that pays homage to the late Jam Master Jay from legendary hip hop group Run DMC.

This Run DMC x adidas Superstar starts off with a smooth black leather construction on the upper with contrasting white placed on the three stripes branding on the side panels as well as the heel tab. Signature details include Run DMC logos on the insoles, Superstar branding on the side panels, and Jam Master Jay branded tongues. The Ivy Park x adidas Forum Mid takes on a suede and leather construction all over the upper in a tonal mint green hue. One iconic adidas silhouette looks to another for inspiration with this new colorway of the adidas Superstar. The classic shell toe from the three stripes takes inspiration from the adidas Stan Smith for this new colorway as the shoe features a white leather construction all over the upper with tonal detailing placed on the three stripes branding, tongue, inner liner, laces, midsole, and the rubber shell toe. The only contrast appears on the heel tabs and tongue branding which have been done in classic green along with gold foil Superstar branding on the side panels.
