The Durable Nike Air Presto Utility Arrives In Olive

‘Tis the season for tonal olive modifications to some of your favorite running models. Not only did we see the adidas NMD R1 finally hit stateside Foot Locker locations in the autumn-ready shade, but now Nike Sportswear’s seasonal update to the iconic Nike Presto running model in the Nike Presto Utility Low gets a Cargo Khaki refresh.

The Nike Air Presto Utility Low skips out on the added ankle support found in its high-arching counterpart, so there are no additional zippers here for fans of the ACRONYM collaboration out there, but it does boast a redesigned weather resistant upper that fits perfectly with the iconic cage overlay.

Be sure to check out more detailed on-feet shots of the latest Nike Presto Utility Low below and grab your size from international spots like Titolo.

Author’s Take

I like the black & gold color scheme, and I think the shoe could have looked even better with a few more hits of gold. Still solid though.

Michael Jordan Signed His Nike Contract On This Day 32 Years Ago

Since this year is an especially big year for the Air Jordan 1 with a number of OG and coveted new colorways releasing, as well as a year that Jordan Brand seems to be celebrating the early days of Michael Jordan’s history with the brand more than usual, it’s worth noting that today marks the 32nd anniversary of the day Nike and Jordan became official partners. Penning his signature to the contract on October 26, 1984, (Rob Strasser of Nike signed it two days earlier) Michael Jordan nor the world had any idea what the future would hold from that day forward. Coincidentally, this date also marks the anniversary of Michael’s first game in the NBA. The sports and sneaker worlds have never been the same since.

More Graphic Nike Air Prestos Are On The Way

Nike Air Presto 1 Nike Air Presto 2 Nike Air Presto 3

As you may already know, the graphic colorways of the Nike Air Presto will continue to release as evidenced by the multicolor pair that we showed you earlier today.

Now being added to the list is this Black/Gym Red-Wolf Grey-White pair that features black mesh on the tongue and ankle with a grey/black/white graphic print landing on the toe. Red detailing is then present on the branding, eyelets, inner liner, and outsole. Capping things off is a black cage and white midsole for some contrast.

Look for this GS colorway of the Nike Air Presto to arrive at select Nike retailers in the near future.

Author’s Take

I like the pop that the graphic uppers give to the Air Presto. This pair is clean despite it being a GS colorway.

The Nike Air Max LD-Zero Is Releasing In Suede

Nike Sportswear unveiled the Nike Air Max LD-Zero with a bang thanks to a collaboration with longtime friend Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design. From the jump, the full-length visible air wielding silhouette managed to exude a certain lifestyle aesthetic even with the bold performance-based outsole intact. We have some good news for those of you that missed out on the first few installments too, as the Nike Air Max LD-Zero will return this Fall/Winter 2016 season in three brand new monochromatic suede builds.

The Nike Air Max LD-Zero utilizes a Hiroshi Fujiwara favorite – the seldom seen Nike LD-1000 retro which the fragment design head brought back for a Roshe combination not too long ago. Vintage ‘Nike Air’ branding keeps the orange Swoosh intact on the tongue while a beautiful lifestyle grade suede transforms the upper in Black, Obsidian, or Sail options. A modern day Air Max outsole creates unparalleled comfort complete with matching shades and semi-translucent bottoms.

Check out more detailed shots of the upcoming Nike Air Max LD-Zero Suede below and expect this trio to be releasing soon on Nike.com.

nikelab-2016-fall-air-force-1-1 nikelab-2016-fall-air-force-1-2

Anytime NikeLab drops Nike Air Force 1s, you know that you’re bound to get a quality product. NikeLab is known for stepping up the quality of a model by giving it premium materials, that also in return makes the shoe more comfortable. Up next for the Nike Air Force 1 Low and Mid are the premium tonal iterations courtesy of the NikeLab.

Both cuts of the AF1 are done in a tonal fashion as a premium leather build is used on the base of the shoes. The tonal look continues as the laced, branding and lining also come in the same fashion. Additionally, the tonal look is then nicely offset by the White sole placed below. The shoe comes in your choice of Black, Brown or Powder Blue and is available in both the low top and mid top variation. Choose your pick of the little at select retailers beginning October 27th for $150 (low-top) and $165 (mid-top).

The Nike Lunar Force 1 Flyknit Releases In Flax

Flyknit and Flax? The two might seem like they’re at opposite ends of the Nike Sportswear spectrum – one has a tendency to make Nike classics look like Timberland boots, and the other is rooted in performance running technology for a flexible and stylish ride. The two are actually coming together on the Nike Lunar Force 1 Flyknit “Flax”, a premium take on the Nike Air Force 1 boot inspiration that we’ve been seeing for the past three or so Fall/Winter seasons from the Swoosh.

The Nike Lunar Force 1 Flyknit “Flax” ditches the patented air technology found in Bruce Kilgore’s iconic basketball model for a sleeker Lunarlon finish, but what will really grab your attention here is the combination of a premium Flax nubuck paired with a matching Wheat Flyknit on the side panels. It’s a new take on the old Nike Sportswear “Wheat” aesthetic, and one that will cost you upwards of $200 USD to rock. The mid-top construction features matching nubuck ankle straps with embossed Swoosh branding and a rugged gum outsole tooling to help you survive the colder months ahead.

Check out more detailed shots of this Nike Lunar Force 1 Flyknit below and grab your pair today at select retailers like KITH.

Nike Basketballs Battle Grey Collection Releases This Weekend

The NBA regular season is here and LeBron James and Kyrie Irving showed the league that they’re already in mid-season form by routing the Knicks in a blowout win after holding up their championship rings for the world to see. If you were watching last night, you might’ve noticed the entire Cavaliers starting-5 rocking ominous dark grey sneakers, as they were apart of Nike Basketball’s larger “Battle Grey” Collection slated to arrive this Saturday, October 29th.

LeBron wasn’t going to disappoint in the first game of the season, as he slammed home 6 dunks and eased his way to a triple-double in 3 quarters while wearing the Metallic Gold-accented Nike LeBron Soldier 10. The laceless design benefits from a bold Battle Grey upper with speckling found on the three straps and midsole. An icy outsole rounds out this LeBron Soldier 10 with a simple, understated finish.

Kevin Durant’s regular season debut might not have gone according to plan as the Warriors were beaten at home by the San Antonio Spurs last night. That didn’t stop KD from still finishing with 27 points and 10 rebounds while lacing up the Nike KD 9 “Battle Grey”. The premium Flyknit upper uses dark shades of Wolf Grey and Anthracite to its advantage for a tonal, clean look.

Kyrie showcased that he’s one of the best scorers in the game against the New York Knicks while wearing the Nike Kyrie 2 “Battle Grey”. Irving made things look easy and stylish as usual, as his second singature features a lighter shade than the other models in Nike Basketball’s Battle Grey Collection, but does get hints of Metallic Gold throughout in honor of his first championship.

You can check out more of the Nike Basketball “Battle Grey” Collection also featuring the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Elite right here on Sneaker News and let us know which Battle Grey pair is your favorite by taking your thoughts to the comments section below.
