Nike SB Dunk High Silver Box Releases This Weekend

Nike Skateboarding’s homage to one of the original Nike SB shoe boxes, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Box”, was a hit thanks to a simple, smart combination of premium leather and a cool embossed shoe box logo on the heel to pay tribute to the legacy of opening up a fresh box and treating yourself to a brand new pair. The ongoing lineage of the numerous Nike SB shoe boxes throughout the years continues this Saturday, October 29th with the release of the Nike SB Dunk High Silver Box.

Traditionalists should know that the next box after the original orange one was the matte silver selection with green accents, and it was the first to actually display the Nike SB logo on it. It isn’t a coincidence that the Nike SB Dunk High Silver Box comes equipped with similar shades, as a premium grey suede upper is hit with Hyper Verde on the Swoosh branding and laces while a classic gum bottom adds to the subdued offering. The embossed shoe box logo arrives on the heel once again while that cool cartoonish graphic shoe box insole returns.

Be on the lookout for the Nike SB Dunk High Silver Box to release at select shops like Premier this Saturday, October 29th for $110 USD. Just in case you can’t wait, you can grab this premium pair right now on eBay.

The NBA season is underway which means Nike Basketball is back with a brand new collection to help jump-start the opening slate of games. The Cleveland Cavaliers kicked off their ring night celebration by beating the New York Knicks by almost 30-points thanks to the effort put in by their two superstars, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Each showcased the Nike Basketball Battle Grey Pack in their latest signatures, the Nike Kyrie 2 and Nike LeBron Soldier 10. A Cool Grey and Wolf Grey upper sees black and white speckling on both pairs while premium Metallic Gold branding pays homage to the Cavs’ first championship in franchise history.

This time around, the rugged sneaker is done in clean shades of Olive to help give it that Fall feel we all know and love. Author’s Take

Colorway is clean. but I’m still not convinced this is a version of the AM that I would wear. Put these on an OG Nike AM 90 and I’m all on it. On this one, not so much.

Up next for the AM 90 silhouette is this premium version that officially goes by the name of Nike Air Max 90 Premium SE. What differentiates this pair from offerings we’ve seen in the past? It’s simple: the color blocking.

The pictures above shoe the shoe come in build on both the upper and sole of the shoe. The only major difference lies in the color-blocking placed on the upper. The Wolf Grey is placed on the middle region of the shoe, while the anthracite takes care of both the heel and toe portion. Are you a fan of how these colors blend on the shoe? If so, you can now pick these up at select retailers for $140.

The color blocking is cool. If the right color scheme comes along, I wouldn’t be opposed to picking up a pair. Can’t go wrong with AM90s, right?

Up next for the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility is this upcoming version that has the shoe’s upper covered in the beloved fabric by U.S. woolen mill Pendleton. We’ve seen Nike don this particular look on several of their models such as the Roshe and Huarache, now its the Presto’s turn.

The Nike Air Presto Mid Utility will feature the graphic Navajo pattern all over the base of the shoe done in a woven construction. Shades of Black, Grey and Brown take care of the Pendleton pattern. Offsetting the look of the base of the White found on the cage, eyelets, laces and midsole of the shoe. Are you a fan of the look? If so, expect these to get a release date in the near future.

I love Pendleton, but I’ve never gotten a pair. These might be the ones I pick up. The wool construction make these Prestos wearable during the colder months.
