The Nike Air Foamposite One is scheduled to receive a Halloween-inspired theme for its latest variation this Fall 2016.
Suggested to be a GS/kids exclusive, the basketball sneaker’s rugged foam upper is draped in glossy black, while the defining element is focalized on the rear which bear a jack-o?-lantern smile, in addition to candy corn embroidery logos on the heels. Author’s Take:
Renz Ofiaza, News: I’ll always be a fan of this sneaker. This theme is pretty cool and I would be all-over it if I was younger. Nonetheless, a solid option for the kids this season.
Inside Nikes Incredible Out The Box Exhibition At YoHood
By SoleInsider
Yo’Hood just closed out its latest show at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center this past weekend, and Nike set up shop with an incredible “Out The Box” exhibition that showcased the past, present, and future of iconic Nike footwear. In this amazing display were the usual suspects such as various models of Air Maxes, the Air Foamposite One, and the infamous power-lacing Nike Mag, but Out The Box also hinted at the future of Nike footwear – namely the power-lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0. The HyperAdapt, which made its global debut back in March during Nike’s massive Innovation For Everyone event in NYC, is set for a release this Holiday season exclusively to Nike+ members. Without further ado, enjoy a detailed recap of the Nike SNKRS “Out The Box” Exhibition at Yo’Hood below.
Before we say goodbye to 2016 we’ll be seeing at least one more colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro hit retailers. Following up the Hyper Cobalt pair that dropped in August, we’ll now be seeing the return of the Dr. Doom colorway.

Here Is Your Reminder That The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Dr. Doom Still Doesnt Make Sense
By SoleInsider
Word is that the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Dr. Doom is scheduled to return on Black Friday. We at the Kicks On Fire offices consider them one of the greatest Foamposite Pros ever made. It’s hard to argue with black foams with white accents that give the shoe a pop that you probably wouldn’t expect from such a simple color palette. So it’s no surprise that sneakerheads are excited to see these come back after a ten-year hiatus. It’s great for those who loved the original and want a fresh pair to rock again and it’s awesome for those who missed out the first time and will now have a chance to own something that’s probably been on their wishlist for a long time.
Here’s the thing, though. It has one the dumbest, nonsensical nicknames ever. Ever. And that’s saying something.
Marvel
For reasons that nobody can explain beyond, “Hey, it came out the same time as another sneaker pack so let’s lump them in there and no one will know because nobody reads comic books, right?”, the Dr. Doom Foams (ugh…) earned their nickname because they are supposedly related to the Fantastic Four pack that Nike Sportswear put out a decade ago. Unlike the Doom Foams, the FF pack actually make sense with sneakers, color schemes and materials that match up with each member of Marvel’s First Family. The Invisible Woman’s Nike Air Force 1 had a transparent upper, for crying out loud, so you know the Sportswear team was paying attention.
Despite the fact that Victor Von Doom has never worn a black or white costume, he still has a pair of Foams named after him that it somehow snuck through the cracks and is now celebrating it’s tenth anniversary. It’s such a common thing to call them out now that practically every blog post about the shoes mentions the lack of connection but still calls it Doom. Hell, we’re doing it now. I hate my life…
So, once again, here is Dr. Doom, one of the greatest Marvel Super Villains of all time, in comic book and movie form…
And here is the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Dr. Doom. No connection, no logic, no sense whatsoever. Argh, I did it again.
It has been quite some time since we’ve seen a new colorway of the Nike Air Cruz hit retailers (the last pair released in February). But with NFL season kicking off again we will be seeing new colorways be released by the salsa dancing wide receiver.
Seen in two different colorways, both upcoming pairs of the Nike Air Cruz take the tonal route as one comes in all-white and the other in all-black. Both pairs utilize woven detailing by the ankle as well as nubuck/suede on the majority of the upper. A white sole unit and blue insoles as a nod to the New York Giants finish off the look on these upcoming colorway of the Nike Air Cruz.
No release information is available just yet but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.
The Nike Air Cruz had some good success when it released last year so I’m sure people are excited to see more colorways drop. I thought about picking up the Wheat and Wolf Grey pairs but I didn’t. I’m not a fan of either of these pairs.
Nike has added some premium details to the popular Nike SB Stefan Janoski for the Fall of 2016.
From a distance this may seem like an ordinary Janoski, but when you take a closer look you see that the shoe comes with a premium black suede all throughout the upper, an embossed Janoski logo on the tongue, and embroidered Swooshes on the side panels. Finishing off the look is a white rubber midsole.
Expect to see the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Premium HT at select SB retailers this Fall.
Victor Cruz And Nike Are Back With More Colorways This Fall
By SoleInsider
Victor Cruz was back to being his old self this past Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, catching 4 passes for 91 yards in a Giants victory. That’s not the only way that Cruz is back either, as his Nike Air Trainer Cruz is slated to return in two brand new premium colorways this Fall 2016 season.
While his Nike Air Trainer Cruz took the lifestyle world by storm despite the electric wide receiver missing the entirety of last season due to injury, we hope to see more releases throughout the NFL schedule while Cruz is actually on the field. After a hiatus since this past February, two monochromatic colorways in either an off-white Sail or a Black will be headed to retailers in the near future. The model features a woven heel construction and a hidden Giants-like blue shade on the insoles.
There’s no word yet on a release date, but stay tuned for more Nike Air Trainer Cruz updates right here on Sneaker News and catch more photos below.

Expect Orlando Colorways For The Nike Air Penny 4 Retro
By SoleInsider
Penny Hardaway had plenty of iconic sneaker moments from the rollout of the Nike Air Foamposite to the subsequent Sharpie color blocking to fit into NBA standards. His earlier retros were just as popular, but one silhouette that’s been missing from the retro treatments has been the Nike Air Penny 4. Today we have some good news for Penny fans everywhere, as the Nike Air Penny 4 will be returning to store shelves in a few Orlando themes in the near future.
While this black Nike Penny 4 is a new take on the Orlando theme, the original White/Black mock up is returning as well with royal blue accents throughout. The black pair even champions a new metallic touch for a unique twist. Which colorway do you prefer? Check out more photos of the upcoming Nike Air Penny 4 retro after the break and stay tuned for a release date announcement in the near future right here on Sneaker News.
