Release Reminder: Nike Kobe 11 Invisibility Cloak

Nike Kobe 11 Nike Kobe 11 1 Nike Kobe 11 2

With the unveiling of the new Kobe A.D., this Nike Kobe 11 Invisibility Cloak, may perhaps be one of the last iterations of Bryant’s final on-court signature sneaker.

Taking cues from the Nike Zoom Kobe 7 that debuted in 2012, the low-top basketball sneaker flaunts a similar palette which is covered in a stealthy hue of all-black across its upper. Pops of hot pink pronounce the design, which is evidenced on the flywire system and sheath logo on the tongue, while reflective accents are visible with the Swooshes across its side panels. Finally, an icy blue translucent outsole finishes off the profile.

Retailing for $160, you can buy this standout pair at select Nike retailers starting tomorrow, Friday, November 4th.

I?ll always be an advocate for the silhouette. This iteration is another appealing option. The slight touches of pink are nice touch.

The Classic Nike Air Force 1 Low Los Angeles Is Returning

Nike Air Force 1 Low 2 Nike Air Force 1 Low Nike Air Force 1 Low 1 Nike Air Force 1 Low 3

Originally seen in 2001, the classic Nike Air Force 1 Low Los Angeles will be offered once again this season for its first-ever retro iteration.

As suggested, the sneaker’s aesthetic theme is inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers’ signature palette. Flaunting a predominantly white hue across its premium leather upper, hits of gold located on the heel tab, Swooshes, laces and outsole pronounce the profile, while purple accents are prominent on the “LA” logos gracing the tongue and heels to cap off the respective theme perfectly.

The limited edition sneaker will be available at ComplexCon in Long Beach, California first on November 5th and 6th for $89, with a wider release expected on December 10th, exclusively at select Nike retailers in Los Angeles.

Author’s Take

You can never go wrong with a classic style. This colorway is appealing in general and due to its exclusivity, it should garner a lot of attention.

Nike Celebrates Chicago Cubs World Series Win With Goodbye Someday

The city of Chicago wasn’t quite lacking in the Championship department. Jordan and Bulls brought home 6 trophies in the 90s, the Blackhawks won three Stanley Cups over the last seven years, the Bears won their first and only Superbowl in 1986, and even the White Sox took it all just over a decade ago.

Cubs fans haven’t had the opportunity to bask in the euphoria of championship glory since 1908. Disappointment was the norm and empty hopes of “someday” populated the Wrigley Field seats season after season.

Tonight, “someday” became “today”. The Cubs came back from an improbable 3-1 deficit against the mighty Cleveland Indians and erased 108 years of falling short (whether it be by an inch or a mile). Nike is joining the city of Chicago in celebration with an innocent portrayal of a young Cubs fans pretending to win it all. Well, there’s no need to pretend anymore.

The Nike Air Max 96 XX Releases In Black/White

The return of the Air Max 96 and Air Max 96 II wasn’t as ceremonious as we all expected it to be, and it has only to do with the swapped out Air Max sole. Back in 1996, this celebrated Air Max shoe (which has consistently been ignored by Nike with large-scale Air Max campaigns) featured a completely different Air Max unit that was never used again as Nike toyed with larger volume and Tuned Air bags. For the contemporary offering, the Air Max 96 and 96 II take on the Air Max 95 Ultra sole, which despite being a rather seamless fit for the shoes, is a bit of a let-down for those who have been waiting for a while. This crisp new black/white colorway should sway some minds; look for these in Nike Sportswear retailers on November 3rd.

Nike CombinesMulti-Color and Oreo On The Same Flyknit Air Max

Just like the Nike Flyknit Racer, the Flyknit Air Max seems to be staying put indefinitely in the brand’s catalog. How do they keep the model interesting after multiple years on the shelves? Amazing new colorways like this, that’s how. The latest “multicolor” look for the Flyknit Air Max is definitely one of its best yet, featuring a mix of an “Oreo” combination of black and white that transitions to the rainbow mix on the lower half of the upper. Meanwhile, a bright Volt Air unit makes them even more eye-catching. Available now in Asia, the latest and greatest Flyknit Air Max colorway can be found in the US soon.

The Anti Social Social Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low Is Releasing Exclusively At ComplexCon

Way back in May we shared with you a sneak peak of the Anti Social Social Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low. Now we got word that this highly anticipated collaboration will be releasing this weekend exclusively at ComplexCon.

Said to be limited to only 24 pairs, the all-White kicks are highlighted by the ASSC branding on the rear portion of the lateral side, as well as the “GET WEIRD” branding on the tongue. How do you get a pair? Twelve pairs will be given away each day (11/5-11/6) via a raffle ticket system; tickets will be handed out to each person who purchases something from the ?Paranoid? collection. It is still unclear whether a winning ticket gives you the shoes for free, or simply allows you to buy a pair of the limited kicks. To those in attendance, best of luck!

Author’s Take

I may be bashed for saying this, but isn’t this collab a little lackluster? That’s just me though.

Our First Look At The Nike Air Presto Extreme

The Nike Air Presto Extreme is the latest rendition deriving from the classic Nike Air Presto silhouette. A brand new loos is placed on the shoe’s upper, let’s take a closer look and see what it’s all about.

Steering away from the model’s traditional look, this version of the Presto gets rid of the entire Presto cage. Just like you’d expect, this results in a brand new aesthetic. Taking the place of the cage is the midfoot strap that also serves as a separation between the front and back portion of the shoe. The slip-on heel region of the shoe appears to be done out of a ventilated sports mesh. Nike Swoosh branding appears on the toe and midsole, while pull tabs are present on both the tongue and heel. As of right now, only this Black and White colorway has been unveiled, keep it locked as more info and colorways begin to surface. First thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I like the strap look. It still has a Presto feel to it, but at the same time it also has a look of its own.

Notable details include the number ?2? and ?3? on the tongues and its ?SFG? pull heel tab, as it finished off with a versatile and complementing gum sole unit.
