Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 1 Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 2 Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 3 Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 4 Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 5 Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 6 Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX 7

The Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit IX has come out in a nice handful of colorways, but there’s no doubt in my mind that the colorway you see above is one of my favorites. Available now, let’s take a look at the official images of the Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit IX Dark Grey.

Inspired by the Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit Spridon, the Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit IX comes in equipped with the same sole unit you find on the Spiridon. The Dark Grey version has the shoe come in a monochromatic offering as it’s covered in the same hue from top to bottom. The Flyknit upper comes with a sock-like fit, while the molded leather  on the heel panels give the shoe a little bit of a premium feel. Priced at $200, pick up your very own pair at select retailers today.

Author’s Take

I’ve yet to try these one, but this colorway definitely caught my eye. Not a huge fan of the sock-like fit but I think I can make it work. The Spiridon sole looks great on the shoe.

The Nike Air Max Zero Goes Ultramarine

Tinker Hatfield brought back one of the earliest sketches of a silhouette with visible air in a way that surprised everyone a few Air Max Days ago. Since then, the Nike Air Max Zero has seen a fairly random and scatterbrained release slate and NIKEiD availability. Luckily, more colorways are headed to retail shelves in an effort to pay homage to some of the more memorable Air Max colorways with the Nike Air Max Zero Ultramarine.

The “Ultramarine” aesthetic first appeared on the Nike Air 180 OG that paired a vibrant Infrared-esque shade with the purplish-blue hue known as Ultramarine atop a simple white base. The head-turning look has since made its return onto a number of other Nike Sportswear silhouette’s but none have been as effective as this simple Air Max Zero pair looking to pay respects to the timeless classic. The Air Max Zero Ultramarine pairs its breathable white mesh with a Bright Crimson heel counter and tongue branding while Ultramarine shades stand out on the Swoosh, lining, and outsole.

Are you a fan of the look? Check out more photos below and stay tuned for release date information right here on Sneaker News in the coming days.

Dark Grey Hits The Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX

Nike Sportswear’s Mercurial line has produced some of the most sought after lifestyle models in NSW’s lineup in the past. With all of the love showed the cult classic running model through the retro slate, we were a little surprised to see the Spiridon’s unique midsole and outsole unit on the Nike Zoom Mercurial IX Flyknit, but it works.

Today we get a look at a brand new “Dark Grey” Nike Flyknit Mercurial IX that makes use of the dark monochromatic effect for a premium offering perfect for any occasion. The Flyknit upper provides a snug, sock-like fit while a molded leather heel panels add a touch of luxury. Check out more of this Nike Flyknit Mercurial IX in the photos below and know that you can purchase your pair today on Nike.com.
