The Nike Presto is currently releasing in a bolstered, winterized form known as the Nike Presto Mid Utility after a collaboration with ACRONYM kicked things off for the mid-top transformation. Nike Sportswear plans on continuing to update the early 2000s running retro, and Spring 2017 will see yet another brand new installment in the Nike Presto Extreme.

The Nike Air Presto Extreme ditches the protective cage overlay completely and instead opts for a sleek, laceless slip-on construction with tape technology, neoprene, and a flexible midfoot strap with additional ‘NIKE’ branding. After a brief preview last week, today we get a look at 5 upcoming colorways that keep the respective color blocking options rather simple. A black bolstered ventilated mesh ankle support contracts neoprene hits of white, royal, red, volt, and pink. What do you think of the new look?

In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the Swoosh unveils its annual Nike N7 collection, which raises awareness and demystifies stereotypes about Native American culture, as well as to encourage resilience against adversity.

This year’s collection, dubbed “Spirit Of Protection”, features Lyle Thompson of the Onondaga Nation in upstate New York. His story reflects the “Dare to Rise” attitude inherent to all N7 ambassadors and to inspire fellow Native American and Aboriginal youth in North America to participate in sport and physical activity.

Known as the youngest of lacrosse?s famously formidable Thompson Brothers, he was born into the hawk clan, which, along with his spirit animal, the eagle, inform his native name: Deyhahsanoondey.

In Thompson?s view, the hawk is one of nature?s stronger, smarter animals and possesses intuition and vision. ?[A hawk] has great vision, like myself; I have vision when I play the game. I?m someone who sees the field really well.?

Utilizing the hawk’s feather print as the collection’s defining theme, a black-and-white hawk-feather print with turquoise accents is prevalent across a range of men’s and women’s apparel, as well as exclusive footwear — Air Jordan 31, Pegasus 89 and Air Force 1 Ultra Low for men, in addition to the Pegasus 89 and Nike AF Upstep Warrior for women.

Fellow ambassadors of the exclusive line also include basketball guard Jude Schimmel and musician and dancer, Taboo.

The Nike KD 9 has been featured in a number of PE colorways already, usually in a vibrant combination of the Warriors’ royal and yellow colors, but in terms of retail releases, the best colorways have used stark contrast and minimal vibrancy to look as good off-the-court as on it. We’ve already seen the Nike KD 9 “Oreo” release this past summer, but now another Nike KD 9 White Black release will be arriving at retailers this December 15th for $150 USD.

The KD 9 benefits from a molded Flyknit upper with a 3/4 length Zoom Air cushioning system for a comfortable ride that still allows for a lightweight feel allowing for quick cuts and signature impact absorption. If the first “Oreo” take wasn’t for you, there’s something to be said about the “Home” version displayed here as a marbled black and white toe and forefoot gives way to a ventilated white heel to contrast the speckled black midsole. The Nike Air Max 96 turned 20 this year. Although that may be the case, Nike did not do much in terms of celebrating the model this year. With the year coming to an end, Nike has decided to put on the spotlight on the anniversary with these two special releases.

Celebrating 20 years of existence is the Nike Air Max 96 and the Nike Air Max 96 II. The major difference between the two lies in the use of the Ultra sole placed on version II. Both versions come in a Black and White aesthetic, where Black takes of the upper and the White is found on the large Air Max unit. It’s been over six years since Nike first partnered with Jun Takahashi, founder of Undercover, in an effort to redefine the way we look at running apparel. The frequent updates to the Undercover NikeLab Gyakusou Running imprint have featured an undeniable aesthetic quality that’s been as innovative as it has been head-turning thanks to Takahashi’s unique sensibilities and Nike’s need to always improve functional athletic apparel for everyday use.

In the latest piece for Nike News, Takahashi talks about how running is his biggest source of creativity. This time around, Jun skipped over incorporating the meditative aspects of running for a capsule collection that preaches functionality and comfort. The hope was that those inspired by high fashion would gravitate to the latest Nike Gyakusou Running Collection and carve out time for running in their respective lives in the same way that Undercover’s founder does. The tonal colors utilized throughout were inspired by both urban and natural landscapes as well as traditional shades seen throughout Japan’s scenery. Here two new colorways of the well-received Nike LunarEpic Flyknit appear featuring additional branding on the heel tab and a new supportive web overlay for additional water resistant aspects.
