A First Look At The Nike Air Shake NDestrukt Retro

It looks like the rumors were indeed true: the Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT is finally getting a retro. The proof can be seen here, with the first images of the upcoming retro for 2017 in two original colorways. Well, almost original that is, as it look like Nike has found yet another way to not get their retros 100% accurate. Fans of the heavy-duty Dennis Rodman-worn sneaker from 1996 will quickly notice a few differences with these retros in relation to the OG, most glaringly the all-white double Swoosh on the black colorway that should have a black under-Swoosh with only white for the slightly smaller top Swoosh. The “AIR” jewel should also be black, not white. (Compare this retro with the OG here). That being said, the OG white and red colorway that Rodman wore throughout the ’95-96 season is almost totally accurate, except for the noticeably smaller visible Air window?but that’s something we’ve come to expect from most Nike retros.

Despite the small differences, fans of the often-requested classic from 1996 should still be quite happy to see the shoe’s long-awaited return (and perhaps these are just early sample shots, not the final product that will hit the shelves). Are you excited for the upcoming retro of the Air Shake NDESTRUKT? Let us know your thoughts after seeing this early preview in the comments below.

Release Info Of The Roundel x NikeLab Air Zoom Spiridon

NikeLab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon 1 NikeLab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon 2 NikeLab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon 3 NikeLab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon 4 NikeLab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon 5

Heads up everyone! I know this is our first look at the Roundel x NikeLab Air Zoom Spiridon, but it’s actually releasing in a few days. Let’s take a closer look at the collaborative effort and hit you up with the release info.

The Roundel x NikeLab Air Zoom Spiridon pays tribute to Transport of London?s (TfL?s) popular sans-serif font? Johnston100. How do they manage to do this? By placing the actual font as a print on the shoe. The font was created by Edward Johnson back in 1916 and it was made to bring unity and cohesiveness for the widely used transport system in London. The collaboration will consists of two different colorway options, both donning the print all over the upper. Letters, numbers and even special glyphs all pay homage to the city’s 90’s theme. Adding some pop to the shoe is the 3M hits and the Navy and Silver noted on the piping. The Roundel x NikeLab Air Zoom Spiridon will release exclusively at Charing Cross station (Trafalgar Square Entrance) on November 9th.

Author’s Take

Very unique theme on the collab. The execution is dope. It may not be something I’d wear but I appreciate the creativity on the shoe.

Nike Air Unlimited Wheat Releasing This Week

The long-awaited retro of David Robinson’s classic 1990s high-top, the Nike Air Unlimited, finally returned to retailers in its original colorway this weekend. The bold color-blocking of Black, White, and Deep Emerald showcased Nike Sportswear’s dedication to giving a true and through retro of the oft-forgotten basketball classic, but today we get a fresh revamp to hold you over for the winter months with the Nike Air Unlimited Wheat scheduled to release on November 13th.

NSW’s “Wheat” regime is nothing new – the brand has been giving some of their most iconic silhouettes the treatment for the better part of three years now with the likes of the Air Force 1, Air Trainer 1, and Air Max 1 all back by popular demand in a Timberland-esque combination of Flax suede and Baroque Brown accents. The boot inspiration is fitting for the towering high-top that is the Nike Air Unlimited, as the slip-on upper fares well in a sandy shade of suede with the dual strap overlays adding lockdown support. A touch of gum even lands on the outsole’s heel unit.

Continue onward for a better look at the latest Timberland-inspired take on the David Robinson classic and grab your size at select spots like Shoe Palace on November 13th for $180 USD.

Roundel London x NikeLab Spiridon

Roundel London is back with a brand new collaboration with NikeLab, this time utilizing the revamped Nike Air Zoom Spiridon retro and an all-over Johnston100 font featured heavily throughout London’s subway signs in honor of the font’s 100-year anniversary.

The Roundel Nike Spiridon features a bold printed upper with simple oversized letters and numbers printed on either a navy or white base. The bold Swoosh branding utilizes an iridescent touch while a transparent mesh overlay adds more depth to the cult-classic running model. Mini-Swoosh branding hits the toe while 3M reflective accents help liven up the collaboration.

The Roundel Nike Spiridon will be available on November 9th at an exclusive pop-uo shop in Charing Cross Station London while a more widespread release will be available November 17th. It’s worth noting that the navy pair will be exclusive to the UK while the clean white option will be featured in the subsequent global release this coming December. Nike Air Max 2017 2 Nike Air Max 2017 Nike Air Max 2017 1

Recently featured in green stone, the women’s iteration of the newly-introduced Nike Air Max 2017 is now featured in a bright grape finish.

Dressed in an official palette of Bright Grape/White-Fire Pink-Pink Blast — the new runner is defined by its revamped upper which flaunts a smoother mesh construction, alongside the addition of a rippling texture on the rear. Grape purple is prominent on the toe box as it fades to pink across its collar and rear section.

Further complemented with grey Swooshes on the side panels, the silhouette is topped off with its signature full length air-bubble cushioned sole unit in light orange.

You can purchase this vibrant pair at select Nike retailers worldwide now.

Author’s Take

I like the sleeker look of the profile and that ripple design on the rear isn’t that bad looking. This colorway is a solid option for the ladies though.

The Nike Air Presto Receives A Vibrant Green Theme

Nike Air Presto 1 Nike Air Presto Nike Air Presto 2

While the Greedy variation consisted as its most notable release lately, the women’s Nike Air Presto receives a vibrant update for its Fall/Winter 2016 lineup.

Flaunting a summer-appropriate finish of barely green/enamel green across its breathable mesh composition, the tonal hue is also utilized for its translucent TPU overlays for its lacing apparatus, heel and toe cap. A crisp white midsole unit and black outsole perfectly juxtaposes the clean profile overall.

You can find this pair at select Nike retailers overseas first, while a stateside release is imminent.

Author’s Take

Even though it’s officially listed for women, the colorway is still versatile for all genders. I’m just a fan of the silhouette in general.

Already showcased in black/infrared, olive and white/black colorways, the Nike Air Max 90 Mid Utility is introduced in the ubiquitous triple black theme for its latest iteration this Fall/Winter 2016.

Essentially a winterized rendition of the iconic runner, the model is enhanced to be more water resistant, as it’s defined by a shroud covering its tongue and lacing system. Premium leather is utilized for its toe box, while the mudguard overlay incorporates a camouflage-like texture for additional flair. Finally, a matching rubber sole unit finishes off the stealthy design.

You can expect this pair to make its debut at Nike retailers nationwide very soon.

Author’s Take

I’ll always be an advocate for this silhouette. The revamped look is more functional while maintaining its design ethos and in this colorway, it’s a versatile option.

The Nike Air Unlimited Chocolate Brown Is Dropping Soon

Nike Air Unlimited 3 Nike Air Unlimited Nike Air Unlimited 1 Nike Air Unlimited 4 Nike Air Unlimited 5 Nike Air Unlimited 2

Already offered in tan, noble red and purple smoke, the Nike Air Unlimited is revealed in another colorway as part of its Fall/Winter 2016 lineup, this time consisting of Chocolate Brown.

Essentially a darker iteration of the previous tan-colored pair, the vintage basketball sneaker is essentially doused in the autumnal tone across its plush suede composition and neoprene bootie construction. The model is further defined by its distinctive cross-pull strapping system across the mid-foot and laces, while it’s perfectly offset by a crisp white rubber sole unit.

Priced at $180, the sneaker is suggested to make its official debut at select Nike retailers on November 13th.

Author’s Take

I still prefer the light tan version as the most appealing/stylish option. This iteration isn’t bad as well and it should garner some attention.
