The Air Jordan 1 Low Pinnacle Metallic Silver Releases This Weekend

Air Jordan 1 Low Air Jordan 1 Low 1 Air Jordan 1 Low 2 Air Jordan 1 Low 3

Joining alongside the AJ 6 Pinnacle Metallic Gold this weekend will be this Air Jordan 1 Low Pinnacle Metallic Silver.

Both pairs essentially commemorate MJ?s first NBA championship (1991) and celebrates the 25th anniversary of that special achievement. As depicted, the silhouette exudes more lifestyle flair with the defining shimmering hue covering its entire leather upper. Boasting a clean, yet eye-catching profile with its swooshless design, the sneaker is also detailed with 3M reflective accents on the heel and tongue.

Finished off with a crisp white rubber sole unit, you can purchase this standout model at select Nike and JB stockists starting Saturday, October 22nd for $160.

Author’s Take

I really like how it looks swooshless. The colorway is pretty appealing as well and it’s a stylish pair in general. I’d prefer wearing this over the gold AJ 6, just because it’s a bit more understated.

Chris Paul Breaks Out More Air Jordan PEs For Preseason

Chris Paul 1 Chris Paul 2 Chris Paul 3 Chris Paul 4

For the second time in as many weeks, Chris Paul decided to break a few necks with his kicks during pre-season by bringing out some more PE heat.

First it was the white/blue colorway of the Air Jordan 11 last week. Now yesterday he decided to give us a double dose as he debuted a new red/blue colorway of the Air Jordan 4 during warmups and then switched out to a red pair of 11s for the actual game that he broke out earlier this Summer.

Which pair would you prefer to have in your collection? Let us know in the comments below.

Here Are Some More Images Of The Air Jordan 11 Suede

The Air Jordan 11 Suede is set to drop this holiday season with a retail price set at $400. While we patiently wait for an exact release date on the shoe, here are the latest images of the shoe for your viewing pleasure.

Rocking a tonal suede upper for the very first time, the Air Jordan 11 Suede derived from Jordan Brand’s Make-A-Wish experience. A child by the name of Rhome Simpkins received a pair with his ?RS? initials embossed on the heels. Other features aside from the Grey suede upper include the embossed Jumpman branding on the heel, the leather quilted insoles and the White contrasting midsole. Is this a must-cop in your opinion, or is the $400 price tag too high for you?

Author’s Take

Aside from the price tag being a little too high for me, I’m just not satisfied with the overall look of the shoe. What if Jordan Brand had decided to keep the patent leather on the toe/mudguard instead of making the entire shoe a suede. There’s a thought, right?

A Closer Look At The Exclusive Air Jordan 1 Banned Satin

In celebration of the original Air Jordan 1 Banned‘s debut in 1985, Jordan Brand surprised many with a small pop-up up located at 108 Wooster Street in New York City yesterday, in which a special Satin edition of the aforesaid Air Jordan 1 was offered to those who were able to stop by.

Extremely limited to 501 pairs only and all individually numbered, it’s apparent that all are now long gone. The silhouette essentially stays true to the ?Banned? aesthetic, as its new revamped satin makeover is also inspired by the warmup suits that Michael Jordan would don during his time in the NBA.

Retail price was listed at $175, but, it’s worth a lot more now.

Author’s Take

Hopefully a re-release will be scheduled. This pair is a classic and the revamped upper is really luxe touch that I admire.

The Air Jordan 4 Motorsport Now Has A Release Date

We’ve known for quite some time that the Air Jordan 4 Motorsport would be making a triumphant return. When news broke, it came without a release date attached to it. All we knew was that it was set to return sometime during the Spring of 2017. A few months have passed since then, and it looks like we now have an (un)official release date.

As of today, the Air Jordan 4 Motorsport is slated to drop on March 26th for the retail price of $190. What makes this colorway so special? When it initially dropped, it was a limited Jordan 4 that was only made and given to member of Michael Jordan’s Motorsports team. So yeah, I guess you could say it’s pretty exclusive. It comes in a White leather upper with hits of Black and Blue providing the contrast. No word yet if this pair will also come with Mars Blackmon on the heel. Stay tuned as more info and images of the shoe begin to surface.

The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Metallic Gold Drops This Weekend

A new editorial perspective of the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Metallic Gold is showcased, as we?re only days away from its release.

A style that is reminiscent of Spike Lee?s Oscars rendition, the sneaker is essentially defined by the lavish hue covering its entire leather upper. Matching lace locks, beige-colored laces and tongue further detail its eye-catching design, while pristine white accents are implemented on the heel tab, tongue and midsole unit to complement its profile.

Retailing for $250, you can purchase a pair at select Nike and JB stockists starting Saturday, October 22nd.

I like the silhouette a lot and I?m really into the finish. I?m still unsure if I really want it, but, so far, I?m a big fan.

The Air Jordan 8 Undefeated Debuts Next Year

Air Jordan 8 Air Jordan 8 1

Following a previous report of an Air Jordan 8 Undefeated possibly releasing next year, rumors now confirm that the model will actually make its debut in February 2017.

During 2005, the LA-based streetwear label produced a special rendition of the Air Jordan 4, and it appears from this rendering that the colorway on the AJ 8 will inherit the same palette. Olive essentially drapes the nubuck upper, while accents of orange are implemented on the rear mudguard, tongue and portion of the outsole.

With its retail price listed at $190, GS sizes are reported to be offered as well and retail for $140.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

Author’s Take

I?m a fan of the silhouette, as well as the LA-based brand, and this offering looks pretty solid (pending this is how the real pair will look). Nonetheless, this will obviously get the attention it deserves.

Air Jordan 13 Black Cat Releasing In January 2017

The Air Jordan 13 was originally designed with the black panther in mind to showcase Michael Jordan’s methodical approach to attacking and dominating the game of basketball. The unique midsole and outsole unit was shaped to pay homage to the structure of a panther’s paw while that holographic branding mimicked the black cat’s always watching eyes. Now Jordan Brand will kick off the Spring 2017 release slate with the premium Air Jordan 13 “Black Cat” colorway, slated to release at retailers on January 21st.

The Air Jordan 13 Black Cat utilizes an all-black-everything colorway to truly pay homage to the panther’s dark coat of fur but things get a little more interesting thanks to the use of full 3M reflective detailing on the upper and matching speckles on the laces. A brand new black cat logo is rumored to be hidden on the shoe’s insoles as well, but we’ll keep you updated on that detail once we have more photos to showcase.

Check out more of the latest Air Jordan 13 Black Cat after the break and stay tuned for more Jordan release date updates right here on Sneaker News.

Good Luck Picking Up A Pair Of The Air Jordan 1 Banned Satin

air jordan 1 air jordan 1 2

In honor of “Banned” Day, Jordan Brand has not only restocked and released new colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 31, but they have also given the classic a makeover.

The Air Jordan 1 Banned Satin was released today in limited quantities to celebrate the anniversary of the original Air Jordan 1 Banned. The shoe features the same color setup as the original Air Jordan 1 made out of leather, but instead of using leather it goes with a much fancier satin material on the upper.

It’s being said that this Air Jordan 1 Banned Satin is limited to only 501 pairs worldwide and they became available today at the 108 Wooster St. pop-up in New York City.

What are your thoughts? Keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for a possible wider release.

Author’s Take

Love the colorway, but I’m not too sure about the satin upper. I’d have to see these in person to decide whether I like them or not.
