Jordan Brand Laces Up Maya Moore With A Clean Air Jordan 31 PE For The WNBA Finals

Maya Moore is one of the best female basketball players in the game right now so it was no surprise when Jordan Brand added her to their roster. She’s also known for wearing some of the best Air Jordan PEs of all-time.

The latest PE that we can add to her already impressive repertoire is this Air Jordan 31 which we see her wearing above. This colorway of the 31 comes dressed in a Minnesota Lynx colorway as blue and white combine on the Flyweave/leather upper.

Moore and the Lynx are currently taking on the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA Finals.

Aside from the Boost 750 Light Brown and Cyber Monday 3s, another notable sneaker released today. Jordan Brand launched the brand new Jordan Westbrook 0.2 starting off with the Black and Camo colorway. Did you happen to pick up Russell Westbrook’s second lifestyle signature sneaker with Jordan Brand?

The Jordan Westbrook 0.2 is an off-court shoe that takes inspiration from the Air Jordan 7 upper and the Air Jordan 1 KO sole unit. This particular version comes in a leather and suede upper done in a Black and Camo motif. The minimalist look of the shoe comes with Westbrook’s logo on the tongue, Jumpman branding on the heel and the words ?Why Not?? on the inside of the shoe, which is a mantra Westbrook lives by. Priced at $140, did you decide to scoop these up?

Author’s Take

These shoes are not really my style. It was definitely an easy pass for me.

UNDFTD Vibes On This Air Jordan 31 Custom

Mache Customs is at it again. For his latest creation he got his hands on the brand new Mache Customs. The best part about this custom is that it doesn’t even look like a custom, it actually looks like a shoe that could be released by Jordan Brand. Although the custom has no official name, it’s easy to see where the inspiration came from, so let’s just call it what it is, the Air Jordan 31 UNDFTD.

Grabbing inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 x UNDFTD collab, the shoe was initially the Jordan 31 Shattered Backboard but it was transformed into the beauty you see above. The Green upper is nicely contrasted by the existing Black and Orange hits placed throughout the shoe. The end result is just amazing. As an added bonus, Mache went ahead and placed the UNDFTD logo on the heel to give it that final touch. Want a pair? Head on over to his site and make your request.

How The Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday Looks On Your Feet

The Air Jordan 3 “Cyber Monday” isn’t actually releasing on Cyber Monday, but that premium, high-contrast Black/White colorway is the perfect way to bring back the Air Jordan 3 retro for the first time in over two years. Jordan Brand is finally unlocking the vault to the famed third installment of Michael Jordan’s signature series, and you don’t have to wait much longer as the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday will arrive at retailers this Saturday, October 15th for $190 USD.

It’s been quite some time since we last saw the Air Jordan III. Since the AJ3’s last appearance, Jordan Brand has launched their Remastered program dedicated to upping the quality craftsmanship of the brand’s retro releases as well as launched premium $400 Pinnacle renditions of some of our favorite models. While the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday skips out on the famed elephant print this time around, it does make up for it with a premium tumbled leather base, micro perforations on the ankle collar, and a smooth mudguard to differentiate the monochromatic upper’s numerous panels. A stark white midsole and outsole unit contrasts for that signature Cyber Monday aesthetic.

Check out more on-feet photos of the upcoming Jordan 3 Cyber Monday below and grab your pair this Saturday, October 15th from select retailers like Titolo.

Most of us are never going to have the chance to step foot inside the UNC locker rooms, but luckily, each and every shoe was shared by the school, and can be seen here. Which is your favorite?

Just like the iconic Air Jordan 1 Bred/Banned that dropped not too long ago, this colorway of Westbrook’s lifestyle sneaker also comes rocking the classic Black and Red motif. Done in a suede construction, the shoe comes in predominantly Black, with the Red acting as the accented colorway. In addtion to the Black and Red, there are also minimal hits of Metallic Gold to help give the shoe a nice bold touch. Lastly, an all-White sole unit can be seen below. No exact release date, but do expect them to drop during the next couple of weeks.

Author’s Take

No matter what colorway the shoe comes, it’s probably not going to change my opinion on it. I’m just not a fan of the shoe, plain and simple. Such a shame since Westbrook is such a dope player.

The suede construction looks pretty nice, and so does the colorway, but if these will be $400 then I’m gonna have to pass.

I?m biased towards the silhouette and even though it?s pretty basic, the colorway is a classic either way. I?m not really into it that much, but, I?ll still probably purchase since it?s a simple and clean offering.

While the Jordan Westbrook 0.2 will be making its stateside debut tomorrow in the Black Camo colorway, today we take a first look at a future offering from Russel Westbrook 2nd lifestyle signature sneaker with the Jumpman.

This time around the Westbrook 0.2 goes for a much lighter shade in comparison to the Black Camo colorway as we can see that the entire upper of the shoe is done in a nice cream hue. Leather and a very nice suede can be seen on the upper with Westbrook’s logo in gold landing on the tongue.

No release date is available just yet for this cream colorway of the Jordan Westbrook 0.2, but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Author’s Take

The colorway just screams out elegance to me, but it’ll be really hard to keep these looking clean all the time. I think I’m gonna have to pass on these.

Air Jordan 11 Suede

It was only a matter of time before Jordan Brand’s lifestyle sensibilities landed on the Air Jordan 11, transforming the patent leather gem through the use of brand new materials with the upcoming Air Jordan 11 Suede release for this coming Holiday 2016 season. This tonal grey pair has an interesting story behind it too, and while we can’t pin down an actual release date just yet, you can expect this premium pair to arrive before year’s end.

The Air Jordan 11 Suede started out as a project through Jordan Brand’s Make-A-Wish experience, as Rhome Simpkins, a kid born with Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, was the proud recipient of one of the first pairs. That might explain early looks featuring exclusive ‘RS’ initials embossed on the heel. The unconventional creation swaps out the signature Cordura mesh upper and patent leather mudguard with a premium hairy suede throughout while a pre-aged translucent outsole unit adds a cream effect to the bottom for a unique twist.

What do you think of the Air Jordan 11 Suede? Stay tuned for more release info in the future right here on Sneaker News and know that this upcoming premium retro is rumored to be priced at $400 to match the brand’s Pinnacle and Premium sensibilities. More photos below.
