Confirmed: Nike HyperAdapt 2.0 Will Be A Basketball Sneaker

Nike recently held its quarterly earnings call for Q2 of fiscal year 2019. Much was talked about but one of the major announcements made by CEO Mark Parker was that Nike plans on releasing a new smart shoe categorized/labeled as a basketball sneaker in 2019 (aka Nike HyperAdapt 2.0)

“I?m excited to announce that in the new year we?ll launch a new adaptive performance platform in basketball at the $350 price point,” said Parker. “We have a smart shoe designed for the perfect fit, and it?s a major step in advancing and connecting our digital transformation to product.”

The $350 price point makes it less than half the price of the Hyperadapt 1.0, which cost $720 and can be seen pictured above.

Andy Campion (Nike Executive Vice President) also revealed that the Hyperadapt Basketball shoe would be launching Spring of 2019.

No other info has been unveiled, but as soon as more info on Nike’s latest basketball innovation is announced we will be sure to let you know.

This Nike Air VaporMax Plus Is Dripping In Black And Volt

Without a doubt, the Nike Air VaporMax Plus has been one of Nike’s most popular silhouettes of 2018. Something about the retro Air Max Plus upper sitting atop the modern VaporMax sole unit makes sneakerheads go crazy over these. The fact that Nike has been releasing a plethora of colorways also helps the cause as there is essentially something for everyone to choose from.

The latest pair takes on a popular combo of black and volt as the neoprene upper has been given the blacked out treatment with Reflect Silver running down the tongue as well as on the branding on the tongue and ankle. A pop of color has been added down below as the uber comfy VaporMax sole has been done in Volt for a much-needed punch. Stay alert as this Air vaporMax will be landing at select retailers and online in the near future for $190.
