Official Images: Nike Cosmic Unity Amalgam

Unveiled a couple of weeks ago, here are official images of the Nike Cosmic Unity Amalgam.

The Nike Cosmic Unity, Nike?s first performance shoe under its Move to Zero initiative (Nike?s journey toward zero waste and zero carbon), was created for a sport that is constantly refashioning into an updated, trailblazing version of itself. That?s the spirit of basketball. That?s also the spirit behind circular design.

Made with at least 25 percent recycled content by weight and featuring a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit for responsiveness, the Cosmic Unity was designed for players who love the sport and who believe in its culture-bending power ? and that includes helping to shape a more sustainable future for the world.

The Nike Cosmic Unity Amalgam is the boldest colorway from the options we’ve seen thus far. A Blue textile upper offset by the Orange eyestay and Mint Green speckled midsole is constructed from proprietary foams and roughly 10% Nike Grind, while the full-length Zoom Air Strobel utilizes recycled TPU. Even the laces, sockliner, and marble Swoosh incorporate recycled materials.

Retailing for $150, look for the Nike Cosmic Unity Amalgam to release on March 7th in Asia followed by a stateside launch soon after on Nike.com.
