Nike Basketball has already planned on releasing an eclectic “What The Mambacurial” and another premium Flyknit rendition based on Kobe’s love of FC Barcelona. Today we get a look at another upcoming Nike Kobe 11 “Mambacurial” based on the original colorway from the Kobe 8 System in a head-turning combination of Pink Flash, Action Green, and Red Plum.

This time around, Nike Basketball utilizes the Kobe 11 EM instead of the premium woven counterpart. The Kobe 11 Mambacurial benefits from a soccer inspired look even though it ditches the forefoot Swoosh for a more traditional side panel to contrast the bold ‘Nike’ branding on the medial side. The Nike Kobe 11 Mambacurial also throws in a semi-translucent outsole to match the Action Green accents throughout. More official imagery of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Hyper Cobalt is featured, as the popular basketball silhouette has finally arrived at retailers today.

Simply dipped in the vivid blue tone across its rugged upper and outsole unit, contrasting accents of black are implemented on the leather eye stays, laces, inner lining, tongue, glossy Swooshes and carbon fiber shank to round out its bold two-tone color scheme.

Official imagery of this new Nike LeBron 13 Elite EXT in vachetta tan is now revealed, as the model is expected to make its debut very soon.

Emitting lifestyle appeal, the performance basketball sneaker is dipped in vachetta tan leather, which essentially covers its perforated upper. Nike has just released a brand new colorway of the Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit that was designed specifically for soccer superstar and Nike athlete Cristiano Ronaldo.

Known as the Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit CR7, this trainer features a full Flyknit upper in a combination of Wolf Grey and Cool Grey which is accented by hits of Clear Jade/Volt on the Swoosh branding, translucent outsole, and the Flywire on the side panels. Hits of Black have also been added that mesh in well together with the grey upper. CR7 branding has then been placed on the tongue and insoles as a finishing touch.

Next week we’ll be seeing the retail debut of the new Nike Roshe Two in a variety of different colorways for both men and women.

Today we take a first look at a new colorway that is sure to garner some attention being that all-black sneakers are always “in.” Pictured above is the Nike Roshe Two Triple Black which comes equipped with a neoprene slip-on design on the upper and overlas for some added support. As you can already see, this colorway takes on the Triple Black as the entire shoe is done in black from head to toe.

After taking a look at the early history last week, Nike SNKRS is back this week with part 2 of their outdoor basketball sneaker retrospective. After leaving off in 1996 with the Air Shake, Rattle, and Roll in part 1, we now see the next wave of durable, asphalt-ready hoops shoes continue in 1997 with the Air Bakin’ and Air B-Que. The two models with playful names and bold designs began the brand’s next chapter of outdoor basketball sneakers with attention to breathability while still remaining durable.

The Air Bakin’, worn in the NBA by Tim Hardaway, featured a fiery design with cut-out mesh panels for ample ventilation for the hottest summer hoops sessions. The unforgettable design has gone on to become one of the most famous of Nike’s basketball sneaker offerings from 1997, with multiple retro returns throughout the years.
