Highlighted by its godly Ivory leather upper, this Special Field Air Force 1 Mid also comes with a durable ballistic nylon on the back portion (ankle/heel) of the shoe. Contrasting Neutral Olive has then been added on the writing/branding by the ankle that takes the place of the traditional Swoosh as well as on the entire rubber sole unit. This means that the upper now comes with molded leather, a built-in neoprene bootie, and Zoom cushioning in the sole. Aside from the new tech features, Nike also decided to switch up the aesthetics of the shoe a bit by placing a Pete Sampras Nike logo on the heel. The shoe features a black suede on the majority of the upper with subtle white and red accents.
