Yesterday news broke that rapper Kendrick Lamar has officially signed on the dotted line and is now part of Team Nike. Kendrick broke the news on his social media accounts and a few hours later Nike confirmed it.

This news comes after Kendrick had been in partnership with Reebok for the last few years and even released a few collaborations with them. Now that he’s with Nike we can surely expect some kind of collaboration(s) to release hopefully in the near future. With the Cortez silhouette currently celebrating its 45th anniversary and Kung Fu Kenny seen wearing the Cortez religiously as of late, don’t be surprised if we see a Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez release some time soon.

The next colorway of the Nike SB Dunk High Elite will be making its way to retailers next weekend as today we bring you an official look at the Sail/Binary Blue pair.

The SB Dunk gets remixed. A larger Nike Zoom Air unit sits low to the ground for max boardfeel. The Dunk design lines stand out on this sleeker, slimmer profile. And, the ankle-hugging Flyknit cuff provides the ultimate lockdown for a nearly seamless feel. This pair comes done in a Sail suede upper with Binary Blue Flyknit on the toe and side panels. We’re pretty sure Paul George would be rocking this Nike PG1 had the Olympics been this Summer. Rocking a USA-them from top to bottom, this new Nike PG1 comes with a Navy Blue upper offset by the Red, Metallic Silver and White placed throughout the upper and sole unit. Above you will see the custom Nike Hyperdunk sneakers Karl-Anthony Towns decided to wear for this year’s Kentucky Basketball’s Alumni Game. The customs sneakers came with loud and clear messages that read “Love Trumps Hate,” as will as with an anti-racism logo noted on the toe. President Trump’s response to the recent events in Charlottesville, VA and the overall state of the country is probably the main reason why Karl-Anthony Towns opted to go with these sneakers for the event. Much respect to Karl-Anthony Towns for using his platform to deliver his message. In addition to the shoe, he also published an article on The Players’ Tribune to comment on the recent events in Charlottesville and Donald Trump’s response.

Rocking a Black/Dark Grey and Olive/Black/Pink color scheme, the Nike Air Woven Boot consists of a checkered weave across the upper matched up with a White midsole and Black rubber outsole.
