The revolutionary auto-lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 has already released in a few different colorways with the Sport Royal pair expected to arrive retailers tomorrow. So does Nike have a sequel lined up? They sure do.
Announced earlier this Summer, Nike said that the HyperAdapt 2.0 will come with a more affordable price in comparison to the $720 price tag that currently comes with the 1.0. Now we have learned from Tinker Hatfield himself that the shoe will actually be a basketball shoe. In a recent interview with Highsnobiety, Tinker had this to say regarding the HyperAdapt 2.0, “There is a 2.0, and it?s specific to basketball. And we think it?s going to be one of the best basketball shoes ever.”
Tinker also mentioned that the HyperAdapt 2.0 does not have an expected release date at the moment. Check out the interview below and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.
