Take A Look At The Alternate Nike Air More Uptempo Doernbecher Inspired By Wonder Woman

This past weekend we saw the official unveiling of the 2017 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection which included a Nike Air More Uptempo that was designed by Brody Miller. As an aspiring comic book artist, his design dreamed up an alter ego, Generator Man. He explains, ?Generator Man is based on me, Not only can he shoot healing energy out of his hands, he also has the powers of mind control.? Other super-powered features include a glow-in-the-dark outsole that reveals the words BE STRONG. ?With all my surgeries, I?ve had to be really strong,? he added. There?s also a giant BPM down the side, which stands for ?beats per minute? as well as his initials, Brody Preston Miller.

However, there was also an alternate colorway of his design that was created. Seen above, this pair was designed for Brody?s neurosurgeon, Dr. Lissa Baird. He calls her Wonder Woman, which is the inspiration behind this design. This version of the Air More Uptempo features a red suede upper with Wonder Woman?s Gold lassos as the pull tabs, branded tongue labels and a star graphic inner liner as a nod to her comic book costume. There was two pairs created, one for Brody’s doctor and the other which was auctioned off during the night of the event for $50,000.
