Chinese Brand ANTA Has Created A Knockoff Version Of The Nike Air VaporMax

ANTA is still trying to solidify themselves in the U.S. as they have just released the ANTA KT3, Klay Thompson’s third signature shoe with the brand. The shoe caught the attention of many people and could be a sign of things to come. But with shoes like the one we see above it makes you question their credibility.

What you see above is one of ANTAs newest sneakers that looks VERY similar to the Nike Air VaporMax. ANTA’s VaporMax ripoff also features a knitted upper along with a full-length Air sole unit. Their logo has been placed on the side panels and as you can see it already exists in a few different colorways.

This sneaker from ANTA is not available for purchase at the moment but retail price is $50. That’s probably the only “good” thing about this shoe. What are your thoughts on ANTA’s version of the VaporMax? Would you consider picking up a pair?

The Nike Air Monarch Louis Vuitton Custom Is The Ultimate Hypebeast Dad Shoe

Shme Custom Kicks (kelshmeamy on IG) is known for her attention to detail when it comes to her custom sneakers. Her latest creation is no different as she decides to create a one of a kind Nike Air Monarch Louis Vuitton custom. Yes, you read that right, a Nike Air Monarch Louis Vuitton custom.

So, why a Nike Air Monarch Louis Vuitton custom? Shme explains that she decided to put this luxury design on this particular dad-model to make fun of the custom culture and show how everyone thinks they’re a designer simply because they’re able to put high-end branding logos on a hyped pair of kicks simple to get some limelight on the internet. Opting to use the most recognized dad-shoe (and least “hype-beasty”) sneaker of all time, simply adds to the irony behind this custom.

Although this witty, tongue-in-cheek custom is all fun and games, the details and precision on the shoe should not be overlooked. No stencils here, all hand-drawn!

Know a dad who’d be down to rock these? Better yet, are you down to rock these hypebeast Monarchs? It’s crazy what a couple of painted on L and V letters can do to a shoe, right?

Be sure to visit kelshmeamy on IG to see more of her work and info on how to get your own custom sneakers.

The Nike Air VaporMax In Pure Platinum And Volt

I’m a big fan of the Nike Air VaporMax, but one thing I could do without is the endless supply of Grey colorways. I mean, Grey is cool, but there’s one too many to choose from at this moment. That being said, here’s another predominantly Grey colorway of the Nike Air VaporMax to choose from.

Rocking an official colorway listed as Pure Platinum/Anthracite-White-Dark Grey, this version differs from part Grey colorways by rocking Volt-colored Flywire that helps give the shoe some nice pop. The VaporMax sole unit is Blacker out to help give the shoe even more of a unique look. Priced at $190, look for this version of the Nike Air VaporMax to drop on November 11th.

Could Kyrie Irving Opt To Wear This Nike Kyrie 3 Shamrock PE For Tonights Season Opener

The NBA is back! First game on the schedule: Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavaliers. It’s only fitting, right? That being said, above you will find Kyrie Irving’s Nike Kyrie 3 Shamrock PE. Kyrie recently unveiled his PEs during shoot around in anticipation of tonight’s game.

This PE version of the Kyrie 3 comes in a predominantly Black upper that is then highlighted by the Green Shamrock logo pattern placed on the toe of the shoe. Adding to the Celtics theme is the Gold Nike Swoosh noted on the side panels. A translucent outsole rounds out the main features of the shoe.

Will Kyrie Irving be wearing this Nike Kyrie 3 Shamrock PE for tonight’s season opener against his old team? I guess we’re going to have to wait and see.

LeBron James Stunts In All-Gold Nike LeBron 15

Who’s hyped for the Nike LeBron 15? If you’re looking forward to the shoe’s debut and are anticipating a colorway with plenty of pop to it, you may want to check out what was on the feet of LeBron James for his latest GQ photoshoot.

See that? Yup, it’s an all-Gold Nike LeBron 15. Dressed in a Metallic Gold finish from top to bottom, the only means of contrast appears to be the outsole. It’s not very often we see Gold-colored Flyknit (Battleknit in this case) so it’s safe to say this colorway of the LeBron 15 is very much intriguing to most of us. No word yet on whether these will end up releasing to the public, but if they do so, we will be sure to let you know. Thoughts? Would you cop?

The Nike LeBron 15 Is Unveiled In Black & Volt

The Nike LeBron 15 made its retail debut this morning as it released in the Ghost colorway. Did you pick up a pair? If you didn’t but you still like the silhouette then maybe you’ll like this new Black/Volt pair that is seen above.

Unveiled in a recent interview with Jason Petrie, Nike Basketball designer who has worked with LeBron James for more than a decade, this new LeBron 15 colorway features a Black BattleKnit upper with bright volt accents placed on the outsole and inner liner.

Down below are a few of the questions from the interview with Jason Petrie regarding the design process of the Nike LeBron 15.

Going into the 15, what rules do you keep from the line and which do you throw out?
We have three adages: ?Lock me down so I can fly,? which came straight from LeBron; ?Protect me from myself,? which relates to how we build for season-long comfort; and “Make me light.” We try to keep those rules steady and make sure that we address them in all of his products.

But we always want to be open to new ways to build a shoe. One instance of this was the Soldier 10. It looked so sleek on court. Obviously, LeBron played really well in it and made history. From that, we learned he could play in a little less than we thought and that we were probably overbuilding for him. It opened up our apertures in terms of thinking how we can solve for problems a little differently.

How did the technology help achieve the look?
We always want the overall vibe of LeBron?s shoe to be aggressive, stylish, modern and classic. Flyknit, with its texture and dimension, defined the aesthetic from the get-go. We let that organic nature of the knit take us to that really aggressive diamond chainmail type of look.

How do you go about formulating the color stories?
With every shoe in Nike Basketball, we’ve got an amazing team of color and materials designers. LeBron has given us some insight. There are some things that we wanted talk about through his lens. I think you’ll see that throughout the course of the season as we explore those stories and see all these little details and touches that provide this incredible narrative.
