Basically covered in the team’s signature colors with a mixture of blues, along with orange and white accents, the sneaker is simply more sleeker than the first version with a mesh upper and suede overlays along the heel. A bootie sock-like collar is a new addition to the style. Zoom Air cushioning, Swoosh logos on the toe and midsole, Paul George?s logo on the tongues and a marbled rubber outsole completes the design altogether.

The Nike Makers of the Game event was a 3-day event full of interactive experiences, athlete/celebrity appearance and limited sneaker drops.

Day two highlights included scrimmages with local high school teams, Makers customization sessions, and appearances by athletes including Draymond Green, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The day ended with a Makers of the Game basketball tournament on Makers Court hosted by Pigalle featuring Giannis. We will share photos of this when they are available.

Day three highlights included a conversation with Kendrick Lamar and an evening performance. Check out the images above to see what went down.

Did You Catch LeBrons Nike Air Zoom Generation LA This NBA All-Star Weekend

A whole lotta sneakers dropped this weekend. One that did not release to the public but we’d like to still cover is the Nike Air Zoom Generation LA you see above. Shown above, this special iteration of the model was designed for LeBron James as he returns back to Los Angeles for All-Star Weekend. Rocking a White smooth and textured leather upper, the shoe is offset by the Blue and Red contrasting accents seen throughout. Special features on the shoe include the ?LA? logo on the heel and ?2018? embroidered on the inner lining. Don’t expect these to release to the public and they’re most likely a one-off, but we just thought we’d give you a look at what kind unique kicks Nike made for LeBron this weekend.

The voter-approved design channels his passion for ’80s culture while drawing influence from vintage corduroy caps, his native Virginia and LA, and his two favorite sneakers: the Air Max 1 and the Air Max 97.

What is sure to be one of the most popular colorways of the Nike Air Max 270 finally has an official release date at the Dusty Cactus pair has been officially unveiled by Nike.
