The Nike Pre Love OX Is Set To Debut This Summer

New silhouette alert!

Nike will be giving us a brand new silhouette this Summer that is all about the retro vibes. Known as the Nike Pre Love OX, this new sneaker from the Swoosh takes inspiration from past Nike retro runners such as the Nike Cortez and the Nike Internationalist. The shoe features what appears to be a nubuck and mesh upper with a large, bold leather Swoosh logo on the side panels. Additional details include “NIKE” and “SWOOSH” branding on the heels, a reverse tongue label, foam midsole, and rubber outsole.

What are your first thoughts on the Nike Pre Love OX? Look for the silhouette to release some time in June.

This Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Goes International

This is without a doubt one of the most neck-turning Nike Air Zoom Spiridons we’ve seen in quite some time. Although the shoe has no official nickname just yet, its ready to go international.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon starts off with a predominantly White upper, but the part of the shoe that really steals the show is the colorful pattern all around the mudguard made up of lots and lots of country flags. Adding to the oomph of the shoe is the use of an iridescent Nike Swoosh and a translucent outsole. We know what you’re thinking: “When do these drop?!” There’s no official release date yet, but once one is announced we will be sure to let you know.

A Look At The Nike Kyrie 4 Power Is Female Worn By Jayson Tatum

Boston Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum had a postseason for the ages as the 20-year old phenom came within one point short of tying the record for most points scored by a rookie in the playoffs as he dropped 351 points. Last night Tatum debuted yet another new colorway of the Nike Kyrie 4 after wearing the Green Lobster pair for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

For Game 7 of the ECF Jayson Tatum broke out the Nike Kyrie 4 “Power Is Female” which features an aqua/teal all throughout the upper with orange detailing on the outsole and speckled midsole. The defining details of this Kyrie 4 are the writing across on the side panels that read ?Power is Female? and ?We Are a New Generation,? along with a basketball-themed female logo on the heel.

It’s unlikely this Kyrie 4 will ever get a retail release, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire if anything changes.

Introducing The Nike Metcon 4 Mat Fraser

Nike athlete and two-time fittest man on the planet’s first PE Nike shoe is largely inspired by two of Mat Fraser’s favorite things: weightlifting and motorcycles. The sleek black design has custom haptic printing on the upper, replicating a barbell’s diamond knurling. The bull?s skull on the tongue patch is reminiscent of a motorcycle jacket patch, the lining is quilted like a motorcycle seat, the back of the shoe is leather and the heel clip and shoelace tips are gunmetal chrome ? all nods to premium motorcycle detailing.

The two circles on each heel represent the two first-place medals Fraser earned at the highest level of global competitive fitness, and nods toward his goal of a three-peat. The letters ?HWPO,” which stands for “hard work pays off” and is Fraser’s personal mantra, line the insole.

“These design elements are really about celebrating some of my passions inside and outside of the gym,” says Fraser. “This shoe gives me such sense of accomplishment. It really gets me amped up to keep doing what I’m doing ? working hard and trying to make myself the best athlete I possibly can.”

The Nike Metcon 4 Mat Fraser will be available June 8 on nike.com and at select retailers.
