Said to be dropping sometime next month, here is a first look at the Nike Air Max Plus 97 Orewood Brown. For those of you that don’t know, the Nike Air Max Plus 97 is a hybrid model consisting of an Air Max 97 upper placed on top of a Air Max Plus sole unit. This particular colorway comes dressed in an Orewood Brown, Rattan, String, Black, and Emerald Rise color scheme. White and Tan take of the majority of the space of the upper, while Black is used on the tongue, laces and lining. Leather and mesh appear to make up the majority of the construction.

This new colorway of the model comes dressed in a Court Purple, Deep Royal Blue, Geyser Grey, and Light Poison Green color scheme. This flavor of the Air Max 97 features the signature mesh and leather upper which starts off with white on the area closest to the tongue which is broken off by hits of grey. The lower half of the upper (mudguard) is then done in Black with pops of Amarillo hitting the inner liner and the full-length Air Max unit on the midsole. Out of the three pairs we’ve seen so far this colorway takes the simplest and most toned down approach as the shoe has been covered in black leather all throughout the upper with Metallic Gold detailing placed on the “AIR” outline as well as on Swoosh logos on the toe and heel, and the country graphic placed on the heel. A black midsole and outsole complete the look on this Nike Air More Uptempo that is still awaiting a release date.
