First Look At The Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Basic Slip

Kendrick Lamar and Nike will be releasing yet another Nike Cortez collaboration, but this one will be much different than his previous pairs.

Abandoning the traditional Cortez look, this new version of the Cortez features no laces but instead a slip-on construction. The traditional tongue is still there, but there are no holes for laces to be put on. The shoe features a white nylon upper with Wolf Grey, Thunder Blue, and Turf Orange accents. Finishing details include a lace toggle system on the heel and “HOUSE SHOES” written down the tongue. The inner liner also reads “PREFERABLY WEAR WITH SHORTS AND TALL SOCKS.”

The Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Basic Slip is currently scheduled to release on September 22nd for $100. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more images.

The Nike Kyrie 4 Halloween Comes Dipped In Slime

We’re still over a month away from Halloween, but today we bring you a first look at what may be the Nike Kyrie 4 Halloween. Starting off with a Black-based upper constructed out of nubuck and mesh, this Kyrie 4 is then hit with green slime on the Swoosh that drips down onto the midsole. Additional hits of that bright green are seen on the Kyrie logo on the tongue, the inside of the tongue, and the rubber outsole.

Current reports have the slime-dipped Nike Kyrie 4 Halloween releasing on October 13th for a price tag of $120. Keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for more information and official images.

The Upcoming Comme des Gar?ons x Nike Cortez Will Make You Taller

Already releasing a collaborative Air Force 1 with Supreme and Nike later this Fall, Comme des Garçons has also put their own twist on the Nike Cortez.

Seen above, the Comme des Garçons x Nike Cortez features one very drastic and obvious alteration as this shoe will make you a lot taller. The women’s Nike Cortez features a whit leather upper with contrasting black on the Swoosh branding as well as on the tongue tag and heel tab. The most notable feature is the platform-styled rubber sole that will add inches to you height. Mismatched CDG branded insoles complete the look.

An exact release date has not been announced yet, but look for the Comme des Garçons x Nike Cortez to release some time during Fall/Winter.

Official Images: Humidity x Nike SB Dunk High Trumpet

Unveiled just a couple days ago, we now have official images of the upcoming Humidity x Nike SB Dunk High Trumpet. This collab between Nike SB and Humidity (New Orleans skate shop) has the Nike SB Dunk High done in a color scheme that’s jazz-inspired. Righfully dubbed the Trumpet, the SB Dunk High comes with a Metallic Gold upper topped off with a Red bow tie on the tongue as a nod to the most influential jazz musician of all-time: New Orleans?born trumpeter Louis Armstrong. Other details on the shoe include the Brown laces, Red Nike Swoosh branding on the tongue, Purple lining, a Black midsole and musical notes printed on the translucent outsole.

Look for the Humidity x Nike SB Dunk High Trumpet to release at Humidity on September 15 (tomorrow) in sizes 4-15 for $150.

The Nike Air VaporMax Premier Flyknit Wolf Grey is the latest colorway for the newest rendition of the Air VaporMax silhouette. The sneaker?s upper features an updated flyknit pattern with leather overlays and large embroidered swooshes. The model also sports a higher cut with a criss-cross leather strap and magnetic closure system on the ankles. The Nike LeBron 16 What The is officially nicknamed “1 Thru 5,” and the sneaker features a mashup of colors. The left shoe?s BattleKnit upper is covered in multicolor with a white leather heel featuring the signature LJ crown logo and the word sixteen. For the right shoe, its upper is covered in an oreo-like theme with a black heel that features a debossed lion head with gold eyes and Swoosh branding. The Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 (Nike Mars Yard Overshoe) Will Retail For Close To Half A Rack!

Way back in March we let you know that another Tom Sachs x Nike collab is set to release later on this year. The shoe will be called the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0. Although no images of the shoe have leaked, above you will get a photoshop rendition of what theTom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0  is expected to look like. The shoe is expected to come dressed in a White, Sport Red, Black and Cobalt Bliss color scheme.

According to py_rates, the latest release info suggests that the retail price of the shoe will be set at $450. In addition to the MSRP announcement, we also got word that the shoe is officially named the Nike Mars Yard Overshoe. the Mars Yard Mid will officially be called the Mars Yard Over Shoe. The shoe will come with a ?moon boot? design equipped with new technology.

In addition, an infant version of the shoe will also be releasing, and that will be called the Nike Mars Yard Infants and is set to retail for $80.

Look for both adult and infant versions of the model to release sometime next month.

First Look: Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Force 1 Low Ale Brown

A couple months ago we let you know that a Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Force 1 Low collab would be releasing later on this year. Renderings of what the shoes could end up looking like were even provided by @py_rates (see above). Today we get an actual first look at one of the two pairs from the Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Force 1 Low collection.

Shown above is the Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Force 1 Low Ale Brown. From what we understand, the colla will include an Air Force 1 Low (this Ale Brown pair) and an Air Force Utility Low (no images of this pair yet). Opting for a workwear aesthetic, the shoe comes in a Ale Brown/Sail-Ale Brown colorway with standout features that include dual branding on the tongue, corduroy detailing around the collar, Gold accents on the eyelets and Swoosh outline, a Sail-colored midsole and of course the Ale Brown upper done in Carhartt canvas fashion.

Said to be releasing in full family sizing, the Air Force 1 Low Ale Brown will retail for $135. Stay tuned for a confirmed release date possible set for next month.

The Nike Air Max 97 will continue to receive new iterations this year, and the next one in line is this Ocean Bliss edition. Colored in an official theme of Dark Obsidian, Ocean Bliss, and University Red, the runner’s leather upper is coated in obsidian, while ocean bliss is used for its mesh underlays, tongue and laces.
