The Nike Air More Money Meant To Fly Pays Homage To A Vintage Womens Basketball Ad

Back in the 1980s, Nike dropped an ad for the WNBA that asked, ?Who said woman was not meant to fly??. Three decades later, they’ve dropped a new colorway of the Nike Air More Money that pays tribute to that very same ad.

The Nike Air More Money Meant To Fly comes dressed in an all-Gold upper with subtle detailing done in Red, White and Blue. Other features on the shoe include the White tones placed underneath the shroud, on the collar and lining. The all-Gold sole unit rounds out the main main features of the shoe.

Release Date: Nike PG 2.5 GS Opti Yellow

Before we see the arrival of the Nike PG 3, Nike will continue to give us a few more colorways of the Nike PG 2.5. One of those upcoming colorways is this kids-exclusive Opti Yellow pair we see above.

Taking the bright and colorful route, this colorway of the Nike PG 2.5 features Opti Yellow all throughout the mesh construction on the upper with Blue Hero landing on the ankle areas. Additional details include a Metallic Silver midfoot strap, white laces, a red heel pull tab, black midsole with a yellow Swoosh, and a Blue Hero rubber outsole.

Look for the Nike PG 2.5 Opti Yellow to release on December 1st for $90.

The Victor Cruz x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Is Available Now

Previewed earlier this year and believed to be a friends and family exclusive, retired NFL player and Nike athlete Victor Cruz has just released two colorways of his own Nike Air Force 1 Mid.

The first pair takes on a heavenly all-white tumbled leather all throughout the upper with a matching midsole and a translucent outsole. The second pair opts for a completely different look as the Uptown gets covered in a buttery tan suede material on the upper with a matching midsole/outsole. Both pairs are then finished off with metallic gold hardware on the ankle strap with Vic’s number 80, Swoosh branding, and a special Vic Swoosh logo on the tongue.

Both colorways of the Victor Cruz x Nike Air Force 1 Mid can be purchased at select retailers now for $175.

Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low Yellow Releasing Soon

The Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low Yellow edition was a ComplexCon exclusive, but due to a rowdy crowds at the event in Long Beach, the release was canceled and the sneakers ere even escorted out of the premises. A future release date is now being determined and it will be announced soon, as Diamond Supply Co. is also planning to hold an exclusive one-day pop-up shop at an undisclosed DTLA location on November 8, giving buyers a chance to purchase the White and Black versions of the Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low before its exclusive drop on November 10.

The atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light Was Unveiled At ComplexCon

There was plenty to see at ComplexCon this weekend, but one pair of sneakers that caught many people’s attention but was NOT for sale was the believed to be atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light collab shown above.

As some of you may know, Nike is planning on bringing back the Nike Air Max2 Light in 2019. Once they do, a collab with atmos is expected to also release. Shown above, the atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light was spotted at ComplexCon on the feet of creative atmos director Hirofumi Kojima. The theme of the shoe is said to be inspired by vintage Nike apparel as a plethora of vibrant colors is placed all over the upper by way of a patchwork motif.

Nike is trying to find new ways to breathe life into the Nike Air Huarache and their latest is this new new premium version of the silhouette that was a hot ticket a few years back.

Taking a premium approach, this Nike Air Huarache goes for a tonal look as the entire upper has been covered in a Fall-appropriate hue of Bordeaux and has been constructed out of a soft suede. The signature neoprene bootie is also in play as well as the TPU heel counter which has been done in black here for some contrast. Nike continues to create modified versions of some of their most popular silhouettes exclusively for women with one at the top of the list being the Air Force 1. Today we bring you an example with the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Rebel XX.

This modified version of the Air Force 1 for the ladies comes constructed out of Praline leather all throughout the upper. Additional details include exposed stitching throughout the shoe and a corset lacing system that has been placed on the heel of the shoe instead of on the tongue.
