Jordan Brand Honors Michael Jordans 30,000th Career Point Against Bulls
By SoleInsider
As Jordan Brand enters into the Retro era of the later, post-Bulls models, expect some inspirations from some jaw-dropping career milestones that were established later in his career. Take this Air Jordan 17+ for example; the silhouette is a familiar “Bulls” composition, but the real story behind this release is that Michael wore the Air Jordan 17 while scoring his 30,000th career point, joining the exclusive ranks that also include Kareem, Malone, and Wilt. The Jordan 17 “30,000 Points” aka “Bulls” will hit retailers on May 29th for $250 USD. Are you a fan of the look? Check out a brief preview below and stay updated on the latest Jordan Brand offerings via our Jordan release dates page.

By SoleInsider
Adding further proof that the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will be returning for 2016 is more Looney Tunes x Jordan Brand apparel to coincide with the movie’s 20th anniversary.
In addition to the hats and shirts that we already saw earlier this month are these two new t-shirts. The first features Michael taking flight with a space background all over and the second features the Space Jam logo with the words Air Jordan replacing Space Jam. This Is What The Air Jordan 12 Wings Will Look Like If You Decide Not To Wear Them
By SoleInsider
The Air Jordan 12 Wings took the sneaker world by storm yesterday as a release date, official images and also the surprise that the upper wears away to reveal a gold wings print underneath were all revealed on the same day.
There’s been mixed reactions from sneakerheads on Twitter and every other social media site you can think of. Some people love it and other people hate it, but no matter what side you’re on everyone is talking about these 12s. Lots of people like them because the colorway is very similar to the Playoffs colorway but with a few added gold hits, which just makes them better. If you’re one of those people that wants to buy them for that reason then here are the latest official images that show the shoes in their original state without any parts of the upper being rubbed off yet. Oh yeah and if you didn’t know already the shoes come with a white and gold Jordan dust bag.
Is the gold wing print a deal-breaker for you? Let us know down in the comments and visit our Air Jordan 12 Wings launch page to stay up-to-date on all of the news and images regarding this release.
I knew that $190 price tag was too good to be true. For such a limited shoe with special features to retail for the same price as a general release just didn?t sound right. Now the $225 price tag makes more sense. I was gonna try to buy a pair but now I?m not so sure.

WWE Kicks: 10 Air Jordan Retro Picks For Shane McMahon At Wrestlemania 32
By SoleInsider
On Sunday, April 3, 2016, Shane McMahon will take a Leap of Faith at Wrestlemania 32. His target will be The Undertaker (or maybe Vince McMahon). He’ll fly through the air for what will seem like forever. It will be crazy and dangerous and a feat of athleticism that no human being in their 40s with 3 kids should dare take. But he will do it for the fans and his family and the “business” because that’s what a McMahon does. And it will be captured in pictures, GIFs and Vines for the rest of time.
The only question is what pair of Air Jordans will Shane-O-Mac rock as he takes flight. The world needs to know.
Shane really doesn’t have the best track record of nailing that elbow, huh? (Cageside Seats)
Since Shane made his long-awaited return to WWE television earlier this year, he has made a point to well, point out what sneakers he’s wearing. From the Air Jordan 1 Chicago for his re-debut to the Air Jordan 2 Wing It to the now infamous shot of him getting chokeslammed in Shattered Backboard 1s to the Fragment x Air Jordan 1 when he gave ‘Taker a flying elbow through the announcer table, he has been bringing the fire to the WWE. Not that that should surprise anybody that has followed the man who was once known as the Boy Wonder during the Attitude Era because he has shown a love for sneakers since he was an actual Boy Wonder.
But what Js will he rock the biggest show of the year? If his trademark baseball jersey is anything to go by, it will be a black and white affair. So with that in mind, let’s take a few educated guesses as to what pair of Air Jordan retros Shane McMahon will wear at Wrestlemania 32. And if you want to keep track of the kicks on this list that yet to release, be sure to bookmark their launch pages that you can find by clicking on their links.
Air Jordan 12 The Master
Nike
The Master 12s seems like the safe choice since it is a recent release and it would match up well with his gear, but Shane is getting a lot of attention in the sneaker world now so he might want to opt for something a little more flashy.
Air Jordan 1 Black Toe
If you do the math, Shane was a teenager by the time Michael Jordan first came onto the NBA scene so it’s totally possible his sneaker passion was ignited when he first saw His Airness fly through the air. It would totally explain his wont to fly while in Jordans. He also doesn’t wear the same pair of kicks frequently – if ever – so by process of elimination, he could break out the Black Toe 1s. The Royal Blues or the Black and Gold could also work in this situation.
Air Jordan 4 White/Cement
Nike
Shane has yet to wear 4s on television so this might be a great time to break from tradition. He’s from an era when “Nike Air” was really what was on the back of his Js after all.
It doesn’t seem likely that Shane will continue to risk life and limb this way, so if this is a one-time deal, he might as well go out wearing one of the greatest kicks ever made in the Concord 11s or he could up the ante and blow everyone’s mind by wearing the rare DMP version.
Air Jordan 6 Black Cat
If Shane takes the craziest risk and jumps off the Hell In A Cell itself in the murdered out pair, I have zero problem renaming the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Black Cat the “Shane McMahon”. What? I was already questioning the nickname because Batman wore it first anyways.
Air Jordan 11 Space Jam
If Shane flies in the 2016 version of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam, it will be an epic sight and should birth a million memes. And it confirms the release in a roundabout way, so Shane becomes a sneaker legend.
Air Jordan 12 Wings
Nike
You could almost picture a scenario where WWE cuts to the backstage area and shows Shane getting ready for his match by lacing up his kicks and it’s the Air Jordan 12 Wings that is releasing this weekend. It would be the ultimate “wear them on the way out” moment. Bonus points if the golden wings start to reveal themselves during the match as it gets beat up.
Air Jordan 12 French Blue/Air Jordan 3 True Blue
Nike
Shane could also switch things up and not wear his own branded baseball jersey and opt to rock the official Wrestlemania version which is blue, white and red. This would give him an excuse to break out the Air Jordan 3 True Blue that is rumored for a Black Friday release or the Air Jordan 12 French Blue that is also dropping this weekend alongside the Wings.
Air Jordan 3 Kobe Bryant
Oh, now he’s just showing off at this point. Bonus points if WWE cameras catch him taking the shoe out of that beautiful box that contains both the Air Jordan 3 Kobe and Air Jordan 8 Kobe.
Air Jordan 11 Low Varsity Red Releasing This Summer
By SoleInsider
Over the last few years, we’ve been trained to expect an Air Jordan 11 Low release during the Summer. We’ve been spoiled with a “Bred”, “Concord”, and much more for the warm weather months, and for 2016, it appears that the “Varsity Red” colorway, which originally released in 2001, will make its way back to store shelves. Featuring the classic pairing of patent leather mudguards and ballistic nylon uppers (and a pleasing un-blue clear sole), this Air Jordan 11 Low “Varsity Red” release will undoubtedly be one of the must-haves this Summer season. Get a detailed look here and stay tuned for solid release info.
With the collaboration by Public School and All Star iteration of the Air Jordan Horizon being its most notable releases thus far, the silhouette has now received a more luxurious take this season.
Evoking lifestyle flair, this rendition flaunts a croc-skin textured leather upper which also flows along its tongue. Doused in tonal black to create a sleek and stealthy profile, the understated shade is continued towards the midsole and outsole to cap off its blacked-out theme.
You can find this pair at select JB and Nike retailers nationwide now, although stay tuned in to KicksOnFire for additional updates.
A Few More Days Till The Arrival Of The Air Jordan 12 French Blue
By SoleInsider
By now, you’re aware that the popular Air Jordan 12 in French Blue is set to make its debut once again this weekend, in addition to the AJ 2 Low Gym Red.
Another set of images showcasing the forthcoming silhouette is provided, this time depicted in a lifestyle editorial. Essentially portrayed on how it looks when worn, the model is defined by its two-tone finish. Pristine white covers the majority of its leather upper, while the bold contrasting hue is evident on the forefoot, outsole and heel tab.
Minor hits of silver, grey and red throughout finish off the sneaker’s entire palette as well. While official retail is set at $190, full family sizing will also be offered, with an Infant Gift Pack, TD, PS and GS listed at $50, $60, $80 and $140 respectively.
The Air Jordan 12 Wings Will Come With A Premium Price Tag
By SoleInsider
Nike just released the official images of the Air Jordan 12 Wings a few hours ago. This new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 will be releasing this upcoming weekend on April 2nd exclusively on the SNKRS app via The Draw from 10am-11am EDT.
We also found out that the upper features a unique quality similar to the Air Jordan 1 Lance Mountain meaning that when the black upper is “wiped, agitated, and rubbed” it will reveal a gold wings print/pattern underneath. However, when the official images first released the retail price was listed as $190. We have now found out that someone at Nike/Jordan Brand made a mistake or they had a change of heart because the new retail price has been spiked up to $225. With the shoe being limited to only 12,000 pairs along with the color changing effects on the upper we can’t say that we’re surprised.
Now that the price has been bumped up $35 does this change your mind about wanting to go after a pair or could you care less? Let us know your thoughts below and head over to our Air Jordan 12 Wings launch page for the latest images, videos and updates.

Simply a luxurious rendition of the iconic model, the sneaker is essentially covered with tumbled leather, in addition to faux pony hair implemented on the tongue and tonal exotic textured skin embossed across its collar.
Maintaining a bold, stealthy profile, the predominantly blacked-out theme is nicely offset by a clean white rubber outsole component. Finishing touches consist of quilted insoles, waxed laces and tonal detailing throughout.
Retailing for $400, find it at select JB and Nike accounts on April 9th. Head over to our official Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle Black launch page for additional info.
The Release Of The Air Jordan 17+ Copper Is Quickly Aproaching
By SoleInsider
By now you probably know that the Air Jordan 17 will be making a come back this year after making its debut back in 2002. The first colorway that will drop is the OG Copper version that you see above.
This colorway of the Air Jordan 17 sticks true to the original release from 14 years ago and features a White leather upper with Black croc textured leather detailing around the ankle as well as on the tongue. Making this colorway pop even more is the Copper detailing on the heel, eyelets, and Jordan branding on the tongue, heel and by the toe.
Do you plan on picking up a pair when they release on April 9th? Retail price has been set at $250 for this release. If you’d like to see more images, video, or just find out more about this shoe then head over to our Air Jordan 17+ Copper launch page for the latest updates.
The Air Jordan 17 holds a special place in my heart because it’s the first retro that I ever bought back in 2002 but in the black and chrome colorway. This Copper colorway is decent but that $250 price tag is something that pushes me away.

Up Close With The Upcoming Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone
By SoleInsider
As we approach the hotter months of the year Jordan Brand is getting ready to release their brighter sneakers of the year. One of those vibrant colorways that will be releasing this Summer is the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone.
Serving as one of multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 9 Low that will be releasing in 2016, this Air Jordan retro utilizes a vibrant Pantone blue on the majority of the upper as well as on the Jumpman branding on the midsole and outsole. Contrasting hits of white land on the midsole, outsole and 23 on the heel with Black making its way onto the inner liner and the Jumpman logo on the heel.
Will this be a must-cop for you when these hit retailers on June 11th? Let us know in the comments below and check out our Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone launch page for the latest images, videos and other important updates regarding this release.
The low-top version of the Air Jordan 9 doesn?t actually look that bad. However I?m not a fan of University Blue so I wouldn?t pick up this colorway. I?m sure that many people do look forward to this release though.

The Summer Will Bring Us The Release Of The Air Jordan 5 OG 90 Black/Metallic Silver

This Summer is sure to be a hot one and with the release of the Air Jordan 5 OG 90 Black/Metallic Silver it’ll only get hotter.

This Air Jordan 5 features a Black nubuck upper with Metallic Silver detailing on the 3M tongue, and the shark teeth on the midsole. White Nike Air branding on the heel and a Fire Red Jumpman on the tongue finish off the look on this upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 5.

The Jordan Galaxy is one of Jordan Brand’s newest lifestyle models. The stylish silhouette has not gotten off to the start the Jordan Brand had hoped for, but perhaps this new classic colorway will help people take notice. Today we take a look at the readily available Jordan Galaxy Black/Gum.
This version of the Galaxy has the shoe come in a tonal black upper constructed out of full-grain leather on each lateral side and a nylon mesh construction on the medial side, resulting in a unique aesthetic. The black motif on the upper is accompanied by the Jordan Branding on the heel and the gold Jumpman on the tag placed on medial side. Completing the classic fee of the shoe is the gum rubber outsole that compliments the all-black upper perfectly. A set of black laces tie up the look together. If you’re impressed by this lifestyle look coming out of Jordan Brand, you can now pick up your very own pair for the retail price of $135.
I never paid any mind to the Jordan Galaxy, but seeing it in this colorway has made my pay closer attention to the shoe. The nylon mesh gives it a little bit of a an Air Jordan 11 feel, and the full-grain leather looks pretty nice. I’m not afraid to admit it, it looks dope!

The pressure and discomfort involved in growing and eventually being capable of flying, like his Airness on the court, requires hard work to achieve such a feat. To fly, one also needs wings. The Air Jordan XII ?Wings? brings this to life as the black upper reveals gold wings after being wiped, agitated, and rubbed on its natural surface. The man behind the Jumpman earned his wings time and time again in the Jordan XII ? most notably in an iconic 38 point performance in Utah while being weighed down by a stomach virus. Earn your own wings in this latest Jordan XII model.
Basically, it’s the Lance Mountain Air Jordan 1 applied to the Air Jordan 12 although judging from the reaction from Sneaker Twitter so far, it isn’t as welcome as the 1s.
The Air Jordan 12 Wings drops on April 2, 2016 and is limited to 12,000 pairs. Don’t think that just because a bunch of people are turned off now these won’t be hard to get because they will be. Stay woke and one way to do that is by bookmarking our Air Jordan 12 Wings launch page.
The Air Jordan 12 Wings Features A Detail You Didnt Know About
By SoleInsider
The finer details of the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” continue to unravel as well get a first look at a unique detail that surfaces just now. We already know about the white/black/gold colorway, but apparently the black upper portions reveal a black/gold “wings” graphic as the material naturally wears away. We’ve seen similar treatment before with shoes like the Nike SB Air Jordan 1 by Lance Mountain as well as the Nike SB Dunk High “Statue of Liberty”, but its the Wings 12s that make way for a graphic print rather than a different color. The Air Jordan 12 “Wings” releases this Saturday, April 2nd through Nike SNKRS via The Draw during a one-hour window between 10 AM and 11AM EST. Get a look at official photos just below.
