Previewed yesterday for the first time by Washington Nationals pitcher and Jordan Brand athlete Gio Gonzalez, today we take another look at the all-new Air Jordan 10 Rio.

This time around we get a closer look at the shoe courtesy of another Jordan Brand athlete, Joe Haden. As you can see, this Air Jordan 10 will be another addition to the City Pack that in the last couple of weeks has gone international. The shoe features light and dark grey throughout the upper with RIO embroidered up by the ankle. Completing the Brazil/Rio theme is the blue, green and yellow outsole that serves as a nod to the flag of Brazil.

There is still no release date available at the moment but we’ll be sure to get that to you once we more information surfaces.

And the Air Jordan 10 City Pack just continues to grow and grow. Judging from this first look this is one of my favorite colorways from the entire pack. I look forward to seeing more pictures.

Leading up to the Jordan Brand Classic this weekend, Jordan Brand has set up shop once again at 166 Flatbush, where the brand previously celebrated the NBA All-Star Weekend in NYC last February. Highlighting this pop-up shop is a theme of 1-on-1 competition, with one half of the space devoted to the Air Jordan XXX and the other to the Jordan Ultra Fly. Available at 166 Flatbush is a rich NYC-inspired shopping experience filled with unique apparel and footwear that you can only get this weekend. Also available is a customization area, where patrons can design their own Air Jordan colorways and have them screened on a t-shirt. On the footwear front, 166 Flatbush will release the Air Jordan 1 “David Letterman”, Air Jordan 10 “NYC”, and surprisingly, the Dover Street Market x Air Jordan 1. The only way to access 166 Flatbush is to reserve a spot, so stay tuned for an official link. Leave it to the #FashionKing to upstage the Black Mamba. But then again, Kobe Bryant wouldn’t have it any other way. My guess is he would have been disappointed if Russell Westbrook didn’t record a triple double in the first half in the shortest time since the 1950s. And Mamba would have been equally ticked off if Westbrook didn’t bring the Jordan Brand fire in the form of an Air Jordan 3 PE. Yeah, Kobe gets the special pack and the Laker-colored exclusives that are simply better than anything else, but imagine how many 3s Russ has now made just for him and will continue to get in the future.

Speaking of Westbrook’s 3s, it appears to be a pair he was saving for when the Thunder wore their alternate dark blue uniforms, but when the opportunity to show off for his spirit animal came up, it was the right thing to do. Here’s hoping they get a retail release in the future.

Monday night was an important outing for the OKC Thunder’s Russell Westbrook, who accomplished a record-tying eighteenth triple-double of the season. Westbrook managed to tally that stat overload in just one half, which impressed Kobe Bryant, whose final game will go down tomorrow against the Utah Jazz. On top of the A-plus performance is his top-shelf sneaker game; Westbrook broke out a navy/white Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 3, a welcome respite to his usual rotation of the Air Jordan XXX. The next Air Jordan 1 to release takes inspiration from a very unexpected moment in Michael Jordan’s life/career.

This upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG inspired by Michael Jordan?s visit to The Late Show With David Letterman fresh off his 63-point playoff performance against the Boston Celtics. This Air Jordan 1 comes draped in a Light Crimson leather upper with Midnight Navy detailing appearing on the Swoosh, ankle, tongue, inner liner, ?Wings? logo by the ankle and the outsole. A White midsole and University Blue Nike Air branding finish things off. The insoles also feature a microphone along with the words ?On Air? to complete the David Letterman theme.

When I first saw pictures of this Air Jordan 1 I didn?t like it at all. Now that I see better pictures I think it doesn?t look that bad. The only thing I don?t like is the University Blue hits on the tongue.

The Air Jordan 10 City Pack is ending up being bigger than we initially expected. With the Air Jordan 10 Paris releasing exclusively in Europe over the weekend and getting a first look at the Air Jordan 10 Rio earlier today, it seems like Jordan Brand is going international with this pack.

One colorway from that pack that we know for sure will be releasing domestically is the Air Jordan 10 Charlotte. Inspired by the NBA team that is owned by Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan 10 Charlotte features a white leather upper with purple and teal detailing on the tongue, eyestay, ankle, laces, ankle, heel and outsole. ?CHA? has then been written by the ankle as an abbreviation for the city.

I?m not the biggest fan of the Air Jordan 10 so it would take a very special colorway for me to actually buy a pair. Purple and teal aren?t really my cup of tea but I?m sure fans of the ?grape? colorway will be all over this pair.

The craze around the Air Jordan 10 is currently centered around the City Pack that highlights cities such as Los Angeles, Charlotte and Chicago as well as international destinations like Paris and Rio.

But the sneaker does not have to be attached to a city for it to be considered “heat.” Here is a first look at a new grade school colorway of the Air Jordan 10 that will be releasing later this year. Covered in Pure Platinum throughout most of the leather upper, this Air Jordan 10 is highlighted by the Vivid Pink detailing on the inner liner and outsole. Finishing things off are touches of Black on the tongue, laces, eyestay, ankle, and outsole.

The Air Jordan 10 GS Vivid Pink is currently scheduled to release on May 14th for a retail price of $140. How many ladies (or guys) plan on copping a pair? Take a look at the official images above and let us know.

If the pink Air Jordan 12 that released earlier this year taught us anything it’s that the guys will be going after these kicks just as hard (or harder) than the women. As for me, I’ll pass.

The Air Jordan 17 just made its triumphant return this past weekend with the release of the OG Copper colorway. If you’re a fan of the 17 then you should be happy to know that the Coppers won’t be the only colorway releasing this year.

Jordan Brand has decided to create a new colorway of the Air Jordan 17 that takes inspiration from one of Michael Jordan’s biggest career accomplishments and the team that he did it against. Pictured above is the Air Jordan 17+ Bulls. This colorway features a Black leather upper with Gym Red accents on the branding, eyelets, ankle, and heel. White detailing then lands on the outsole to complete the Bulls theme. The story goes that this colorway is inspired by Michael Jordan?s 30,000th point that he scored as a Wizard while playing against the Chicago Bulls on January 4th, 2002.

When I first heard that this shoe would be black and red I was hoping that the hits of red would be more bold and vibrant than this. It?s not a bad colorway but I wouldn?t pay $250 for this shoe.

Jordan Brand brings back the Black Cat colorway by placing it on their new Air Jordan XXX. The Air Jordan XXX Black Cat comes in a combination of Black, Anthracite, and White making it a versatile and simple sneaker to wear. Looking at the sneaker we can see that the upper is built with a mixture of woven, knit and printed materials. Black dominates most of the sneaker while a black and orange globe lands on the tongue and and icy blue translucent outsole finishes off the look.

Did you take a look at this Air Jordan 10 and think the original “Steel” colorway was making a return? Well think again, because what we have here is a Gradeschool Girls only edition of the tenth Air Jordan in a close-but-no-cigar version of the the “Steel” colorway. Introducing the girl’s-exclusive “Pearl White” colorway, which seems to be the same as the familiar OG look, but with a white inner lining instead of the original’s black and grey checkered interior. Why produce a colorway almost just like an OG and only in girl’s sizing? We’re not sure, but pairs will be up for grabs beginning May 7, 2016.

Set to release later this Summer are more colorways of the Air Jordan 5 Low which has already released in quite a few color option during the first quarter of 2016.

One of those colorways that will be releasing is the pair that you see above that has been created for soccer star Neymar Jr. The Air Jordan 5 Low Neymar features a grey cement upper with black speckling all throughout. The entire upper of the shoe is also 3M. In addition to the flashy 3M upper we also see Infrared detailing on the outsole, the inside of the tongue, and the ?10? and ?23? branding on each of the ankles that represent Neymar and Michael Jordan?s numbers respectively. The rest of the shoe including the tongue, laces, inner liner, eyelets, midsole and side panel mesh netting are all done in black. Capping things off is an icy blue translucent outsole.

The only pretty cool thing about this colorway is the full 3M upper. Other than that I don?t expect this colorway to fly off shelves.

Gio Gonzalez was back this morning posting some more heat on his Instagram account. As if the Air Jordan 4 PE Cleats that he showed us last week for Opening Day weren’t enough, he now gives us a look at a few upcoming Jordan retros that will be releasing this Spring.

Spotted in the pictures above are the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game (2016), Air Jordan 9 Low Infrared, Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag, Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles and a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 10 that we’ve never seen before. This new Air Jordan 10 is also part of the upcoming City Pack and pays tribute to the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The Air Jordan 10 Rio will feature a dark and light grey upper with yellow, green and blue detailing on the outsole that could represent the colors of the Brazilian flag. Finishing off the shoe is RIO written up by the ankle. With the 2016 Summer Olympics taking place in Rio this year it makes perfect sense for Jordan Brand to have created this colorway.

Gio Gonzalez has made Jordan Brand’s presence felt on the baseball diamond for quite some time now, and the Washington Nationals pitcher gets a bountiful rotation of upcoming heat before anyone else does in return. Gio took to Instagram to post some of his latest and greatest including the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” and a number of Air Jordan 10s belonging to that upcoming City Pack. But one particular pair caught our attention – the never before seen Air Jordan 10 “Rio”. The host city for this summer’s Olympic games is getting its very own Air Jordan 10 complete with what appears to be a unique gradient on the achievement-inscribed outsole. The Jordan Horizon has seen an emphasis on graphics and exotic textiles in a way that its predecessor, the Jordan Future, just wasn’t ready for. The latest “Brown Croc” that utilizes a synthetic crocodile leather throughout is indicative of this shift in thought process, as a monochromatic Hazelnut brown adds a boot-like tooling to Jordan Brand’s latest off-the-court style. Brief hints of Metallic Gold can be found on the branding and outsole to coincide with a splash of Infrared 23 on the Air Jordan 13’s traction pattern underneath the surface.
