Bearing similarities to Spike Lee?s exclusive AJ 6 Oscars, Jordan Brand will be releasing a new colorway of the Air Jordan 6 for the 2016 Holiday season. The Air Jordan 6 features a premium leather upper that is done completely in metallic gold.

Complemented with white accents throughout the remainder of its profile, in particular, the tongue, heel tab, inner lining and midsole unit, the shoe is finished off with an icy translucent outsole with gold speckling.

Andres Carrillo, News: I only own one pair of Air Jordan 6s (Carmines) and while the idea of a gold Air Jordan 6 sounded cool I don’t like the way it turned out. It’s just too flashy for me to wear. It looks more like a trophy and not really something you wear.

Even more imagery of the highly-anticipated 2016 edition of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam continue to be revealed, as we’re about six months away from its official debut.

This time emphasizing the sneaker’s build against a natural backdrop, the basketball sneaker essentially stays true to its OG makeup that MJ first wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs. Tonal black covers its breathable mesh upper and smooth leather accents on the rear, in addition to the higher cut patent leather overlay that encompasses the upper.

Other standout OG details include the classic Concord Jumpman across its heels, the number ?45? stitched on the back heel and the classic ?Nike Air? branded insoles in contrasting white, as it all rests atop a white midsole unit and icy translucent outsole.

Originally seen in 1999, this particular variation of the basketball silhouette is essentially a remastered pair, although, staying true to its original makeup. Yesterday became Kevin Durant’s first official day as a member of the Golden State Warriors as he was introduced to the media in a formal press conference and took pictures with his new #35 jersey.

While he was at the team’s practice facility he was putting up some shots, but he wasn’t wearing his new KD 9s. Durant was actually spotted rocking the Air Jordan 4 Premium Black that released earlier this year. You know, the one with the pony hair?

For a few days, the streetball capital of the world will be Paris thanks to the annual Quai 54 basketball tournament. Every year, Jordan Brand and Nike creates a selection of gear just for the main event, and today we get a first look at the Air Jordan 2 Retro that is scheduled to release on July 22nd. Much like the previous Quai 54 Jordan releases, these are likely to be exclusive to Europe, and given the P75 on the heels of the shoe, these could go as far as being exclusive to NikeLab P75 in Paris.
