Previewed earlier this month, we now bring you a much better look at the upcoming Air Jordan 5 GS Deadly Pink.

Designed with the ladies in mind, this Air Jordan 5 features a Black nubuck upper with additional hits of black on the ribbed textured tongue, mesh side panels, laces, inner liner, eyelets, and the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel. Additional details include a white midsole, Deadly Pink on the inner tongue and the shark teeth on the midsole, and an icy blue translucent outsole.

The Air Jordan 5 GS Deadly Pink is scheduled to release on August 5th for $140.

Lonzo Ball had a very interesting sneaker rotation this past week during Summer League as he was seen wearing Nike, adidas, Under Armour, and Jordan Brand instead of his own signature Big Baller Brand ZO2s. The week started off with him wearing the Kobe A.D., which was followed by the adidas Harden LS, and then the unreleased Under Armour Curry 4. To finish off the week he laced up the Air Jordan 31 Low in the Oreo colorway. When asked by a reporter if he was trying to start a bidding war between the brands, Lonzo replied with “Something like that.”

While we’ve already gotten a couple of different looks at Mark Wahlberg’s custom Air Jordan 5 Transformers, the man himself now gives us the background story behind this shoe. Wahlberg recently sat down with the Jordan Brand team and was interviewed for their official blog.

What was it about the AJ 5 that made it the perfect shoe for a Transformer?

“The AJ 5 was the perfect fit because in my opinion, the AJ 5 has a futuristic look to it. It kinda looks like a shoe that can transform.”

Can you tell us about the process for choosing the 5 and designing the shoe?

“We sat down at the Jordan Brand Headquarters and talked to the guys out there. We wanted to make something special.

Originally wanted to make a shoe that could possibly transform. The thought of having an AJ 4 that could possibly transform into an AJ5 had me sold.”

Are you a fan of the Air Jordan 5 Transformers? Get a good look at the shoe and admire these from afar because they’ll most likely never make it to retailers.

Each passing day provides more info on the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Gatorade release. The newest tidbit shows that the Air Jordan 6 Gatorade will come with Gatorade branding on it. The branding can be seen above in areas such as the lace locks and insoles.

We recently provided you with a first detailed of the shoe and today we have even more images to share with you. Aside from the Gatorade branding, the rest of the shoe comes in a Carmine-color blocking motif as White and Orange take care of the suede and leather upper. Giving it more of a Gatorade feel is the Green placed on the lace locks and Jumpman branding on the tongue and outsole. The slogan ?If I Could Be? stitched on the inner tongues provide the shoe with a nice unexpected surprise.

Aside from the Air Jordan 11 Gym Red that’s expected to release on December 16th, there also appears to be another Air Jordan 11 expected to release just couple weeks before. Meet this year’s Jordan Brand Black Friday release, the Air Jordan 11 Midnight Navy.

Believed to be inspired by Michael Jordan?s alma mater, this Air Jordan 11 Mid features a White ballistic nylon mesh on the upper with Midnight Navy detailing on the OG patent leather mudguard, inner liner, heel, and the branding on the tongue. The Jumpman on the ankle and tongue are done in University Blue to complete the UNC connection. Down below we have a white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole to wrap things up.

Juan Carrillo, Editor: I dig it. I’d like it even more if the Blue on the Jumpman ends up being the same shade as the Blue on the mudguard. In my opinion, the Jumpman done in that Light Blue seems a bit out of place. Aside from that, the shoe looks great!

When it comes to the Air Jordan 6 Gatorade, there’s a lot of questions that have yet to be answered. So far we’ve seen two different iterations of the model. The first version came with a Green nubuck upper, while the second pair came with a Carmine-like color scheme/color blocking. Today we take a better look at the latter. Could this version be the one releasing to the public?

The Air Jordan 6 Gatorade is inspired by Michael Jordan?s classic ?Be Like Mike? Gatorade commercial (check it out above). Paying homage to Gatorade’s classic colors, this Air Jordan 6 you see above will also come dressed in similar fashion. The Air Jordan 6 Gatorade will come with a White leather upper contrasted by the Orange underlays, Black tongue and the Green lining and Jumpman branding. The shoe also come with a White Jumpman on the heel, White laces, “If I Could Be…” is noted on the inside of the tongue, (perhaps “Like Mike” on the other tongue?) and a translucent outsole. It this pair ends up being the one releasing, will you be copping?
