Jordan Brand will be releasing a special version of the Air Jordan 5 inspired by the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The colorway might be familiar, but the design, not so much.

Dubbed the Air Jordan 5 NRG Fresh Prince, this iteration of the model opts for an Air Jordan 5 Grape color scheme as White, Grape Ice, Black, and New Emerald can all be found on the leather shoe. What really gives the shoe the Fresh Prince vibes is the decision to remove the customary lacing system by sealing the lace holes, resulting in a slip-on design, much like Will used to wear on your favorite 90’s sitcom. Other details on the shoe include the ?West Philadelphia? text underneath the tongue, Nike Air branding on the heels and Fresh Prince inspired insoles. What do the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan XX (20) have in common? They all come in Flyknit iterations, well at least they will pretty soon judging by the pics shown above.

The shoe you see above is said to be the Air Jordan XX Flyknit. It’s essentially a modern take on Jordan’s 20th signature model consisting of a newly-constructed upper done out of Flyknit. Shown in two different colorways (Olive and Black), the Air Jordan XX Flyknit features a sock-like Flyknit upper, a wide leather forefoot strap atop the lacing system with ?72023? branding, an ankle leather strap, and a dual density IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) cushioning system. The Olive pair comes with Black accents and  Orange outsole/leather heel counter. The Black colorway comes with Gold contrasting  and a classic gum outsole. Also worth noting is the Carmelo Anthony ?Melo?-branded insoles, an embossed Jumpman at the heel counter. How is this model linked to Melo? Soon we will find out.

No word yet on when the Air Jordan XX Flyknit will release, but early reports suggest we see these drop during the Fall season. Stay tuned.

Jimmy Butler may not have his own signature shoe with Jordan Brand, but he will be getting his own PE version of the Air Jordan 6 later on this year. Currently known as the Air Jordan 6 Jimmy Butler, this special iteration is said to be a part of Jordan Brand’s upcoming Air Jordan NBA Pack.

There are rumors that Jordan Brand will be releasing a new NBA Pack which will include a handful of signature sneakers inspired by Jordan Brand-sponsored athletes. Today we get a first look at one of the shoes from the pack that is reportedly being made for Jimmy Butler.
