Jordan Brand’s FW19 Collection will debut two variation of the Air Jordan 3 with exotic makeovers, according to rumors. Renderings of the purported “Animal Pack” have surfaced, with one pair officially colored in ?Black/Sail-Gum Light Brown-Multi-Color? and the other flaunting a combination of ?Black/Dark Mocha-Rope-Multi-Color.” As the images suggest, the silhouettes will bear a variety of premium materials and animal patterns including horse hair, python, tiger print and more. While the Air Jordan Spizike doesn’t generate the attention or demand it once used to, Jordan Brand is not afraid to continue releasing new colorways that will hopefully be embraced by those die hard fans of the silhouette. For the Summer of 2019 the Jumpman has brought back the mash-up sneaker created by Spike Lee and the team with one of the pairs being this Green Glow iteration we see above. Essentially covered in black all throughout the upper. the shoe takes on a mix of nubuck and patent leather on the upper along with black leather elephant print seen on the toe and heel. To cap off the look we see Green Glow detailing placed on a couple of the eyelets, the branding, and the outsole which gives those glow-in-the-dark vibes. You can look for this Air Jordan Spizike to hit retailers in the coming weeks for a price tag of $175.

The Air Jordan 8 Reflections of a Champion is part of an upcoming ?Reflections of a Champion? series dropping this summer, and it pays tribute to Michael Jordan?s first three NBA championships and it that includes the Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 7, and the Air Jordan 8. This iteration is simply the OG Bugs Bunny, but instead of its traditional white leather uppers, it has been elevated with reflective materials instead. The sneaker’s original chenille tongue pattern, alongside hits of Black, Red, and Grey detailing all over tops off the modern OG design.

Today, Jordan Brand officially announced the 27 North American students of the 2023 Wings Scholars class. Each student will receive a full-ride scholarship for all four years of college to the school of their choice.

The Wings Scholar program, now in its fifth year, was inspired by Michael Jordan?s close identification with the power of education ? he credits his teachers with instilling in him a confidence in the classroom that spilled onto the court.

An overview of The Wings Scholars Program is below:

• Students are nominated by any of the 30 global partner organizations to the Jordan Brand Wings Scholars program.
• The students then complete an application that identifies them as local leaders, showing an alignment with the partner organization’s values, active participation through community service and more.
• A funding gap must also exist at the post-secondary institution in which a student has been admitted, a gap that Wings alleviates.
• A Jordan Brand committee reads the applications and determines the awardees.

Each cohort receives one-on-one mentorship by a Wings advisor and is exposed to internship opportunities with Jordan Brand to help carry on their collegiate studies to completion. The first cohort of the Wings Scholar Program is set to graduate this year.

Amsterdam based streetwear label Patta is joining forces with Jordan Brand this year to release two special iterations of the Patta x Air Jordan 7 OG SP. One is covered in an official mix of ?Icicle/Sequoia/River Rock/Light Crimson? with the other in a color scheme of ?Shimmer/Velvet Brown/Tough Red.” The Velvet Brown pair in particular, sports nubuck uppers with light brown underlays and contrasting black overlays. Pops of red are scattered throughout while Patta branding is also seen on the midsole with hits of brown and black to complete the design.

Update: (5/13/2019): Retailing for $200, the Patta x Air Jordan 7 OG SP Collection is scheduled to release in the US in June, but ahead of the wider launch next month, Patta?s Amsterdam and London locations, as well as patta.nl will be releasing the collection on May 18th. Aside from the Air Jordan 7, the collection will also include matching inspired apparel.

A new Air Jordan 5 will be dropping this summer, and it’s going to feature a University of Michigan theme that will be similar to the Air Jordan 5 Fab 5. Dressed in an Amarillo/College Navy-Amarillo color scheme, the model flaunts yellow nubuck uppers that are contrasted by navy placed on the eyestay, tongue and midsole. Yellow shark teeth with speckling is also noted on the midsole, while it’s paired with an icy blue translucent outsole. Distinct features include Jumpman badges stitched on the heels, the word “Inspire” in upside-down sewn behind the tongues, and tonal Jumpman branding on the reflective tongues.

It’s a fact that if an Air Jordan 1 doesn’t come with the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue there’s a good chance that it will be overlooked. That may not be the case with this new women’s colorway that is pictured above.

Covered in an array of hues that make this an ideal colorway for the Spring and Summer, this women’s Air Jordan 1 starts off with a smooth pink leather on the side panels and the toe. Up next we see black leather overlays on the midfoot, eyestay, Swoosh, and ankle. The stand-out feature of this shoe is the new green crackled leather material that wraps the heel for an eye-catching look. Black rope laces, white Jumpman logos on the tongue, a white midsole, and a green rubber outsole wrap things up.
