Tomorrow we’ll be seeing a new colorway of the Nike Flyknit Racer hit retailers with this Volt pair that you see above.

The sleek runner from Nike has been outfitted with a Black and Volt Flyknit upper with additional Black accents landing on hte later Swoosh checks, tongue, laces, inner liner, part of the midsole, and the rubber outsole. Hits of White on the midsole and the medial Swooshes complete the look on this vibrant pair of Racers that will release on August 19th for a retail price of $150. Will you cop or pass?

Multiple players on this iteration of Team USA have claimed that winning a Gold Medal in the Olympics would be just as important, if not a better alternative to winning an NBA Championship. Kyrie Irving won’t ever have to worry about one or the other, though, as the reigning NBA Champ sunk a game-winning three-pointer in Game 7 in the NBA Finals and then decided to suit up for the red, white, and blue and play under his former college coach Mike Krzyzewski this summer. Nike Basketball is already celebrating the quest for another Gold Medal with their upcoming Team USA “Gold Swoosh” Pack featuring this near-all-red Kyrie 2 Gold Medal out August 22nd.

The Kyrie 2 Gold Medal is undoubtedly the loudest and most vibrant of the trio of Nike Basketball Gold Medal releases, as a University Red upper pairs a mesh and fuse construction together for a head-turning look. Touches of Metallic Gold hit the Swoosh and Kyrie branding throughout while an American flag is printed on the insoles. Kyrie’s ‘J.B.Y’ mantra which stands for “Just Be You” is also featured on the inner-tongue for an added personal touch.

With Team USA currently atop the Men’s Olympic Basketball standings at an undefeated 6-0, it looks like Kyrie will accomplish that rare feat of winning both an NBA title and an Olympic Gold Medal in the same year. They do have Spain standing in their way on Friday, August 19th and we’ll be excited to see how it all plays out. Tinker Hatfield’s iconic Nike Air Safari creation has received the retro treatment countless times before but has since been on a little hiatus. NikeLab has updated the famed late-80s printed silhouette with the Nike Air Safari Royal, a premium menswear lifestyle take on the retro that paired a deconstructed suede upper with Vachetta Tan leather support for a head-turning albeit expensive twist.

The Nike Safari is back today in that “Royal” treatment featuring a mix of materials that provide both comfort and durability that will carry over from season to season. This Dark Grey rendition pairs embossed Safari speckles on the toe and ankle collar with just the right amount of Vachetta Tan on the midsole and inner lining for a look appropriate for any occasion. Today we get the best look yet at the Nike KD 9 Gold Medal.

Kevin Durant’s ninth signature model is his most technologically advanced yet thanks to a bolstered Flyknit woven upper, Dynamic Flywire support system, and a full-length Zoom cushioning for a comfortable and lightweight ride that’s as unique as any basketball performance model on the market today. The Nike KD 9 Gold Medal utilizes an ominous Obsidian upper to match Team USA’s road uniforms while Metallic Gold branding on the Swoosh and a ‘USA’ heel tab nods at the intentions of America’s dominant Olympic basketball program. Throw in University Red on the lining and a pristine icy outsole, and this could be the cleanest KD 9 pair to date. Team USA and Durant still have a lot of work to do in order to grab that Gold Medal during the elimination rounds ahead, but here’s to hoping that they pull things out.

More official images of the Nike KD 9 Birds Of Paradise colorway are featured, as the model is set to make its debut tomorrow.

Flaunting a mixture of green and teal across its flyknit upper, specifically across the toe box, the vibrant shades are contrasted with tonal black adorning the rear, inner lining, laces and pull tabs for a complementing contrast. More accents of teal adorn the zoom cushioning, while a white phlyon sole unit caps off the entire profile for an aesthetically pleasing colorway.

Retailing for $150, you can buy this pair at select Nike retailers nationwide starting Friday, August 19th.

GS (3.5y ? 7y) and PS (11c – 3y) sizes will be offered as well, and retail for $125 and $85, respectively.

The successor to the Roshe One is now unveiled with the Nike Roshe Two, led by designer Dylan Raasch.

Built for comfort in its entirety — underfoot comfort (a combination of stability, support and cushioning), upper comfort (contoured, dynamic fit) and long-lasting comfort (a responsive system) — the new silhouette features a minimal stretchable/breathable upper that forms to its wearer?s foot, while lofted grooves add flexibility and a supplemental foam layer provides additional cushioning.

Combined with a new, tri-fusion IU midsole, it also features three unique densities to deliver targeted compression and durability. The lowest density is directly underfoot for enhanced cushioning, while higher surface density on the outsole provides impact protection.

Designed for all-day wear, the Roshe Two Flyknit is available via the Nike Tech Book in all markets besides North America on August 25. It will be available in the SNRKS App, at global retailers and via the Nike Tech Book in North America on September 1st.

Meanwhile, the original Roshe Two will launch in the SNKRS App and at Nike retailers globally on September 1st as well.

The Nike Roshe Run, a merely a casual lifestyle shoe that rests on simplicity, is the brand’s most successful sneaker of the 21st century. It lacked any true innovation, and dinged us for a paltry $70, and was built on basic foam soles and mesh uppers. It’s a bit ironic that this type of shoe reached the level of sales it did, considering Nike is a brand built on technology and puffs its chest anytime it discovers the next great footwear creation.

We’re guessing that it’s no coincidence that the Nike Air Presto just happens to be dropping in this color scheme that’s the same as the national colors of Brazil at the same time of the Olympic games in Rio. The host country of this summer’s global games are no doubt the inspiration for this latest Air Presto, featuring a green, blue, and yellow color palette for the mesh construction. With polluted water, controversy in the slums around the Olympic village, and even USA swimmers being robbed, we’re not sure Rio is even anything worth celebrating right now, but nonetheless, you can pick up this Brazilian colorway of the Presto now at select Nike Sportswear retailers.

The Nike Kyrie 2 closes out the warm season with an all new colorway as part of the Nike Basketball “Summer Pack”. Also containing the KD 9 in the “multicolor” look that launched early at the Nike Golden Air SNKRS box in San Francisco and so far unseen colorways of the Kobe 11, and Hypershift, we get our first look at one of the members of the Summer Pack with this clean colorway of the Kyrie 2 in Light Bone up top and a gum rubber outsole. Seemingly inspired by the beach, we’ll have to wait for full details on the Summer Pack from Nike, but for now check out an early look at this Kyrie 2 and expect the whole set to launch on August 31st.

If you’re like me, you probably weren’t feeling the Nike Air Max 1 Pinnacle White and the high maintenance that it comes with.
