Initial Look At The Nike Kyrie 2 Hot Lava

Nike Kyrie 2 Nike Kyrie 2 1

With a light bone variation releasing at the end of this month, the Nike Kyrie 2 is introduced in a brand new colorway of hot lava, which is expected to debut later this Fall.

Flaunting a predominantly blacked-out composition, the defining hue is implemented across the mid-foot strap and midsole unit via speckling, while it can also be seen on the distinctive logo on its tongue tab. The stealthy, yet bold design is also further pronounced with a contrasting white Swoosh located across its heel unit.

A release date for this model has not been announced yet, but, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

Author’s Take

I like the stealthy build and it’s a versatile pair. The hot lava accents aren’t a bad touch either. I like how its minimal.

Bright Colors Cover The Nike Juvenate

NIKE JUVENATE 1 NIKE JUVENATE 2 NIKE JUVENATE 3 NIKE JUVENATE 4 NIKE JUVENATE 5 NIKE JUVENATE 6

Last year we saw the introduction of the Nike Juvenate which bears similarity to the popular Nike Roshe Run. That is one of the reasons that it has gained popularity with the casual person who buys sneakers every here and there.

The latest version of the lifestyle runner from Nike takes on a very Spring/Summer look with this Peach Cream colorway. The breathable mesh upper is done in a vibrant orange peach hue with blue, white and volt accents serving as contrasts.

Ladies can now pick up this loud and colorful colorway of the Nike Juvenate at select Nike retailers for $95.

Author’s Take

This colorway is too bright for me, but I have definitely considered picking up other past colorway of the Juvenate. I like the similarities it has to the Roshe Run.

NIKE AIR TRAINER MAX ?91 1 NIKE AIR TRAINER MAX ?91 2

It’s been close to two years since the last time we wrote about the Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 here at Kicks on Fire. So I guess technically, the shoe is making a comeback, right? After a small hiatus, Nike has decided to bring back this classic model from the ’90s beginning in the timeless White and Black colorway.

Releasing this Fall season, the shoe rocks a new colorway that has it come in a predominantly White upper offset by the hits of Black and Grey noted throughout. Constructed out of leather and a little bit of mesh, the shoe also comes with a Light Grey outsole, White laces and perforations on the toe. Stay tuned to find out when these throwback classics get a release date.

Author’s Take

While I’m always glad to see classics like these make a return, this is a pair I won’t be picking up. It just isn’t my style nowadays.

Nike Kyrie 2 Hot Lava

Kyrie Irving’s second signature sneaker with Nike, the Kyrie 2, kicked things off with the smoking hot “Inferno” colorway featuring Bright Crimson and Atomic Orange accents throughout. Those shades did for Kyrie’s model what Infrared did to the Air Jordan 6, adding a reddish hue that truly popped on-court.

The Nike Kyrie 2 isn’t finished yet either as showcased earlier today through a gum-bottomed Kyrie and now this Kyrie 2 “Hot Lava”. This pair gives the NBA Champion a near-Triple Black colorway, but adds Hot Lava speckling throughout the midfoot strap and midsole for just the perfect amount of vibrancy. Throw in a reflective Silver Swoosh branding and this pair would’ve been the perfect match to those Cavaliers’ alternate black-sleeved jerseys that they wore to clinch the NBA Championship.

Expect this pair to arrive at retailers in the near future, but stay tuned for a release date right here on Sneaker News.

Gum-Soled Nike Kyrie 2 Releasing In Late August

Kyrie Irving is currently cutting up international defenses, tying Olympic records, and leading Team USA to a 5-0 record through the preliminary round. He’s doing so in a number of patriotic Nike Kyrie 2 PEs, but back home Nike Basketball has already planned a number of new releases for Kyrie’s second signature silhouette before the Kyrie 3 comes out. This Kyrie 2 “Light Bone” is perfect for the end of summer, as lifestyle sensibilities like a classic gum bottom help push the pair into casual territory.

The Kyrie 2’s construction focuses on a lightweight ride with enough unique grooves in the bottom to help guards slice and cut up opposing defenders with a quick first step. That traction pattern is beautifully highlighted here through a gum outsole while the upper focuses on simplicity through the use of Light Bone and Reflect Silver touches. Brief accents of red add just enough vibrancy. The Kyrie 2 “Light Bone” will arrive at retailers on August 31st for $120 USD, but just in case you can’t wait, grab your pair right now on eBay.

Author’s Take

Let’s keep it real, the Nike Air Force 1 Low is one of the least comfortable shoes out there. With that being said, they’re so classic, that I’m willing to be uncomfortable for a few hours a day just to rock this clean Maroon colorway every once in a while. Beauty is pain, man!

It was only a matter of time. The black/gold pair from the 2016 NBA Finals was nice, so I was sure a white counterpart would release.

NikeLab Has More Premium Air Force 1 Releases On The Way

Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Nike Air Force 1 proved that it was a timeless basketball performance model – just ask Rasheed Wallace. The man played in a model over two decades old at the peak of his career (granted ‘Sheed wasn’t known for his quick cuts nor did he need a lightweight performer). That being said, the lifestyle legend has since been retired on-court and instead has given us a number of premium leather options throughout 2016. The latest NikeLab collection takes the Nike Air Force 1 Low to task in two beautiful monochromatic leather options slated to arrive later this month.

The Air Force 1 Low benefits from an icy bottom, a nice touch that adds an underlying red Nike Swoosh branding for a premium albeit almost hidden feature. The real call to action here is the all leather upper paired with a leather lining in either a royal blue or a deep maroon. Those two colorway options are bold enough to stand out, but when paired with a white midsole, the simple and refined silhouette showcases its perfect for any occasion.

What do you think of the latest Air Force 1 release? Stay tuned for a release date in the near future right here on Sneaker News.
