A decade ago Jordan Brand unleashed the low-top Air Jordan 5 to the world, but oddly enough, they were released in women’s sizes. Perhaps the brand didn’t think that men would find the lower-profile AJ5 appealing, but 2016 sang a different tune as several colorways of the Air Jordan 5 Low have already released and are slated to hit stores soon. This March 26th, one of those decade-old colorways is returning as well; drawing comparisons to the Air Jordan 5 “Metallic Silver” from 2000 (and later 2015), this low-top version is built for girls only, but should be available in extended sizes. Scheduled to release in the month of May is the Chicago colorway of the Air Jordan 10 from Jordan Brand’s upcoming City Pack.

Today we have new images to show you of the Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag that happens to be inspired by the flag of Chicago. White leather covers the majority of the upper with University Blue and Bright Crimson detailing landing on the laces, tongue, eyestay, outsole, heel tab and branding. A black outsole wraps things up along with ?CHI? written by the ankle in Bright Crimson and Black.

The only reason I would pick up this pair of 10s is if I were from the city of Chicago or lived there because the inspiration/theme looks to be on point. But since I don?t these are a pass for me.

The month of February just brought us the Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement which won’t be the only Air Jordan 4 releasing in 2016. Scheduled to release next month is a brand new colorway of the Air jordan 4 with this Dunk From Above colorway.

Jordan Brand’s Dunk From Above Collection got underway last week as we saw the release of the Air Jordan 5 Low Dunk From Above that is still sitting on shelves a week later. It may or may not be a different story with this Air Jordan 4 due to the popularity of the silhouette. The Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above comes dressed in a Midnight Navy leather all over the upper with Varsity Maize detailing on the eyelets, inner liner and the inside of the tongue. We can also see White accents on the midsole and side panel and tongue mesh netting while a gum outsole holds everything down.

This is my favorite shoe from the Dunk From Above Collection but I don?t know if I like it enough to pull the trigger and cop a pair. Maybe if I?m able to see them in person I?ll be able to make my decision.

For quite some time now there’s been rumors circulating that the Air Jordan 16  Midnight Navy could possibly be getting the retro treatment somewhere down the line. We now have reports from a retail source saying that the shoe you see above is in fact scheduled to get the retro treatment for the first time ever.

The Air Jordan 16 originally released back in 2001. The last time we saw any kind of version of the shoe was when the black pair released as a part of the CDP in which is got paired up with the Air Jordan 7 back in 2008. Fun fact about the shoe, it was also the first Air Jordan since the Air Jordan 3 that was not designed by Tinker Hatfield. No word yet on when the shoe will release, but we’re almost sure that it will do so before the year ends. Are you a fan of shroud-equipped Air Jordan 16? Let us know if you plan on picking up a pair once these end up releasing.

Remember the gold Air Jordan 6 that was gifted to Spike Lee back in November that was inspired by the Oscars? Well today we get a much better and detailed look at the shoe.

According to Spike Lee there was only one pair of existence, so either Spike Lee wasn’t aware that there’s more pairs or he let someone borrow his pair to take these new shots of them. This Air Jordan 6 features a gold leafed upper with a translucent tongue, outsole and heel tabs. As you can see in the photo the see-through tongue and outsole have also been hit with gold speckling to go along with the ?Oscars? theme.

Definitely a nice colorway of the Air Jordan 6 but this is more of a collector’s piece to me that you display on your shelf like a trophy and not something you wear on your feet.

With Jordan Brand already announcing the return of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam as well as the Air Jordan 3 True Blue OG, there’s no denying that Jordan Brand is playing no games this holiday season. J23app just let it be known that the first ever girls-only Air Jordan 11 Mid will be releasing in December. Sure, we’ve seen girl colorways on the Air Jordan 11 Low, but never on a mid. No word on what the colorway will be on the shoe, but here’s to hoping that it’s a color that the men can also wear. Keep it locked for more updates regarding this future release.

I don’t know about you, but every time I go bowling, the bowling alley makes me tak off my shoes and wear some of their generic three-toned bowling shoes. I guess Chris Paul and Allyson Felix don’t necessarily have to follow that rule as they were recently spotted wear some Jordam Brand heaters during a bowling event.

During yesterday’s CP3 PBA Celebrity Invitational hosted by Chris Paul, he along with Allison Felix decided to bring out some pretty dope kicks that none us get to see on a daily basis. Paul opted to go with the Jordan CP3.IX Blue Suede reserved for only friends and family, while Allyson Felix made sure she broke necks as she chose to wear the elusive Air Jordan 5 Tokyo23. Yea, it’s safe to say that both of them killed it when it comes to the sneaker part of the game.

Shannon Favia is an artist known for her pop art sneaker paintings. Her unique style is easily recognized every time you see it on a canvas. She’s been able to share her artwork with the world and has even managed to share it with NBA stars such as Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler. For her latest creation, she’s trying something new. Instead of doing a painting of a sneaker, she actually painted on her sneakers. The end result is another Shannon Favia classic!

Shannon Favia let it be known that she only owns one pair of Air Jordans. With that being the case, she decided to give her only pair a of one-of-a-kind look! Using the same style she’s known to utilize on her paintings, Favia went to work on her Air Jordan 1s covering the sneakers in an array of colors in a freestyle manner that helped put her on the map. The popular black and red colorway of the Air Jordan 12 will be releasing on May 28, 2016. This colorway has been dubbed Flu Game due to the time that MJ wore them during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. Michael put up 38 points and lead his team to a victory while suffering ?flu-like symptoms.? There’s no word yet on whether they’ll be composed of leather or nubuck yet, but since Jordan Brand is continuing their remastered initiative we expect them to be done in leather like the original.
