Another Look At The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Midnight Navy

Air Jordan 1 Low 1 Air Jordan 1 Low 3 Air Jordan 1 LowAir Jordan 1 Low 2

Jordan Brand continues to release Air Jordan 1 Low models in OG fashion. Up next is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG Midnight Navy. Looking to mimic the success of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG Chicago, this Midnight Navy colorway release is only a few weeks away.

The shoe is very simple when it come to the colorway placed on the upper. It starts off with a white leather base that takes care of the majority of the shoe. Adding some color and contrast to the shoe are the Midnight Navy accents placed on the outsole, Nike Swoosh, lining, heel and tongue branding on the shoe. When it comes to the OG branding, Nike branding is placed on the tongue and the Wings logo is spotted on the heel. A white midsole and white set of laces tie up the look of shoe. Slated for a March 19th release, you can get a pair for the retail price of $130. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I like the shoe. Although the colorway may not be as hyped up as the Bred, Royal, Shadow or Chicago pairs, the simple look of the shoe makes it very versatile.

Earl Thomas Stunts On Us With His Very Own Air Jordan 7 Gold Cleats

It looks like newly-retired NFL legend Charles Woodson is not the only one who was blessed by Jordan Brand with his very own pair of Air Jordan 7 Gold cleats. Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas also took to his IG to show the world that he’s got a pair as well. Although Earl Thomas did not take part in the Pro Bowl game (injury) this year, but Jordan Brand still showed him so love and gifted him a pair.

The Air Jordan 7 cleat comes in a gold upper contrasted nicely by the hits of white found on the tongue, laces and midsole. Would you pick up if these were to drop? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

Dope clean and I don’t even play football! I’m sure these would sell well if Jordan Brand ever decides to drop them.

Travis Scott Gets Hooked Up With The Air Jordan Kobe Pack

The latest celebrity/athlete/musician to receive the Air Jordan Kobe Pack is rapper Travis Scott.

Earlier in the week Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers also posted the pairs he received from Jordan Brand along with both colorways of the Macklemore x Air Jordan 6. However unlike Myers, Travis Scott received the home white colorways of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 instead of the black pairs that Myers received.

Are you a bigger fan of the black pairs or the white pairs? Let us know down below and keep it locked to Kicks On Fire to find out if this Air Jordan Kobe Pack will ever be getting a retail release.

The Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles Will Be Inspired By The Dodgers

We already know that and Air Jordan 10 City Pack will be releasing that will highlight four cities around the country. We have the Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag that draws inspiration from the city’s flag, the Air Jordan 10 NYC inspired by the Statue of Liberty, a Charlotte colorway, and now we have the Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles.

This Air Jordan 10 isn’t inspired by the Lakers though, instead Jordan Brand pays homage to the Boys In Blue and models the colorway after the LA Dodgers. The colors used on this Air Jordan 10 will be Ocean Fog, Blue Lagoon and Midnight Navy. The collar will also come with the “LA” embroidered logo instead of the 23 or 45 that we’re used to seeing.

The release date for the Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles is scheduled for May 14, 2016 for a retail price of $190. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for further updates and images once they release.

Note: There is no images of the sneaker yet.

Author’s Take

The Dodgers are my favorite baseball team but I already own the Royal 10s. So unless this pair is completely different then I intend on passing on them.

On-Feet Images Of The Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin

Air Jordan 4 1 Air Jordan 4 2 Air Jordan 4 3 Air Jordan 4 4 Air Jordan 4 5

The Air Jordan 4 will be getting the premium treatment in 2016 much like the Air Jordan 1 did last year with all of its pinnacle releases. In addition to the black colorway of the Air Jordan 4 that will drop at the end of the month, we’ll also be seeing the pair that you see above hit retailers some time this year.

Instead of going with the slightly textured tonal upper and pony hair detailing that we saw on the black pair, this PRM Snakeskin colorway dresses up the shoe in beige and grey snakeskin leather with tumbled leather overlays on the tongue, wings and toe. Metal detailing has been added on the eyelets and heel for a luxurious look. Finishing things off is a white midsole/outsole unit that lets the upper do all the talking.

There is no firm release date yet for this premium Air Jordan 4 but they’re like to release some time this Summer with a hefty $400 price tag. It’s also important to not that there’s rumors that there only may be 5,000 pair available when they release so it won’t be an easy pick-up. Stay tuned for updates, but in the meantime enjoy these new on-feet images.

Author’s Take

Not a bad colorway of the Air Jordan 4 but if they do cost $400 then that’s just ridiculous. The only reason they’ll sell out is because there’s only 5,000 pairs.

NBA 2K16 Kicks: The Air Jordan 12 GS Dynamic Pink Looks Great In Bigger Sizes

In a special edition of NBA 2K16 Kicks (actually, the Foamposite Pro Pure Platinum edition was the special edition because it dropped early today), we’ve got a look at the Air Jordan 12 GS Dynamic Pink in a size most of the grown men reading this would appreciate because it’s in their size.

While we can all understand and respect Jordan Brand’s decision to keep the Dynamic Pink in GS sizes, we can’t help but wonder what the pair would look like if they got an men’s sizes release. One thing I know for sure is that they would not last long in stores because of their unique look. Don’t believe me? Remember how fast the Pearlized Pink flew off shelves when they dropped a few years ago? This would be no different.

Like last week’s look at the Air Jordan 12 The Master colorway in the game, some of the issues when creating a custom colorway remain, such as the difference of font on the “23” on the shoes and the lack of visible Jumpman branding on the heel. But those flaws are barely noticable in the game as Jimmy Butler pulls them off with ease.

The Late Charlotte Cummings, Who Stockpiled Jordans Since 1985, Has Her Collection On Display

When you think of vintage sneaker collectors, you’re pretty much always going to picture a male. It’s true, about 99% of the world’s community of vintage sneaker collectors are guys. And that’s what makes this amazing collection even more special and unique. On display now at the campus of Wallace State Community College in Alabama is the collection of the late Charlotte Cummings, who co-owned an athletic footwear store throughout the 1980s and ’90s with her husband Robin. Looking like a genius now, Charlotte began setting aside Air Jordans and other sneakers for safe-keeping beginning in the mid-80s, amassing the collection seen today in the museum environment. Unfortunately, Charlotte has since passed away, but Robin has kept her love for sneakers alive with the exhibition, even adding more sneakers to here original collection within the last two years. Those in the Hanceville, Alabama area can view the awesome collection until March 15th, 2016. You can also see more of the collection on Robin’s Instagram page.

Jordan Brand Wings It This Weekend With New Air Jordan 2 Release

Jordan Brand’s “Poster Collection” will come to a close this weekend with the introduction of the Air Jordan 2 “Wing It”. Mike’s second signature silhouette is one of his earliest models that is often looked over by fans due to the fact that he spent his sophomore season sidelined by injury. This Air Jordan 2 does manage to bring more than enough interest though thanks to a unique ‘Wing It’ heel branding based on an old school advertisement that ran in print magazines during 1987. The stark black and white contrast on the upper pays homage to the colorless ink the poster was printed in. Will you be grabbing a pair this Saturday, March 5th> Check out more photos below and reserve your pair on eBay.

Sneakers In 4K: Air Jordan 2 Wing It (Full Pair Video)

Note: This is the full pair version video. Click here for the single shoe version.

Landing this weekend is the Air Jordan 2 Wing It, the other half of the Air Jordan Poster Collection along with the recently released Air Jordan 12 The Master. The Wing It colorway takes a simplified approach with white, black and grey adorning the silhouette and textured leather finish that really doesn’t become apparent until you have the shoe in your hands and on your feet. It’s a classy approach to a model that was originally conceived as a luxury basketball shoe and of course, the “Wing It” catchphrase that you can find on the the shoe’s heel adds a little bit of that Nike “Just Do It” attitude that was prevalent during their ’80s advertising campaigns.

To learn more about the shoe, check out our Air Jordan 2 Wing It launch page for more release information, images, videos and much more. Don’t forget to check out our closer look at the complete Poster collection.

Whats The Deal With This Gold Air Jordan 4

Air Jordan 4 1 Air Jordan 4 2 Air Jordan 4 3

Anyone notice something strange this morning on the Nike SNKRS app?

An image of an all-gold Air Jordan 4 appeared on the app without any kind of explanation from Nike or Jordan Brand. Along with the picture of the golden Air Jordan 4 there was also two more pictures. One featured an all-gold screen with the words ?Reserved-Unlock? and the other was a picture of the recently released Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement.

Could this mean that there will be an all-gold colorway of the Air Jordan 4 releasing some time soon? I guess only time can tell. Keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for any updates on this story.

via: Nike SNKRS

Author’s Take

I’m not sure how people would react to an all-gold Air Jordan 4 or any Air Jordan for that matter. I think it’s too flashy of a colorway but if Jordan Brand slaps the “limited” tag on them they’ll definitely sell out.
